COBB Tuning GT-R Suspension Tuning

COBB Tuning has released a couple suspension tuning essentials for the Nissan GT-R; the Coilover Sleeve System and Anti-Sway Bars.

Coilover Sleeve System

COBB Tuning’s new Coilover Sleeve System gives you the ability to customize the ride height of your Nissan GT-R while retaining the factory adjustable shock absorbers. Suspension movement has also been enhanced by replacing the stock rubber bushings with teflon-lined FK spherical-bearing top mounts that allow for full articulation of the suspension while maintaining linear spring movement.

Handling is dramatically improved by utilizing 700 lb/in front springs and a 600 lb/in rear spring and helper spring combination to keep the rear spring seated through the full range of motion. Custom spring rates are also available.

Anti-Sway Bars

The COBB GT-R Anti-Sway Bar kit has multiple settings both front and rear, giving additional adjustment so handling can be tuned to driver preference. The tubular design allows significant rate increases (up to 94% over stock) with a minimal weight penalty of only 2.7 pounds. The included polyurethane bushings eliminate flex and provide immediate transient response that the driver can feel.

This kit is a direct replacement for the factory equipment and works with all of the factory undertray pieces. The mounting hardware and factory endlinks are retained while new mounting straps designed for higher loads are provided front and rear. The lightweight tubular bars are CNC bent for exceptional quality control and perfect fitment. Integrated locator rings retain the bars in their proper position and prevent walking during high G cornering maneuvers. This kit is also compatible with the ultra-adjustable COBB GT-R Coilover Sleeve system.

The KW suspensions coilover for the Infiniti G37 enables the owner to lower their vehicle 20-45mm on the front axles and 0-45mm on the rear axles and retains enough travel to handle maximum load and dynamic loads during driving. Adjustable (and independent reacting) rebound and compression damping allows a truly individual performance driving setup for those technically demanding drivers. Compression dampening adjustment is conducted in the low-speed range, while the high-speed set-up, so decisive for driving comfort, has been pre-set by KW engineers.

Important characteristics such as safety, quality and performance are all taken into consideration with each KW coilover design. Each vehicle application is specifically designed and engineered for a proper range of motion, min/max weight loads and min/max lowering. All these requirements are met while retaining it’s performance handling characteristics. Each KW coilover suspension is produced with unique stainless steel “inox-line” technology. The stainless steel construction internally and externally provides long term durability and corrosion resistance from the elements.

AEM Mitsubishi Lancer Cold Air Intake

AEM has released it’s Cold Air Intake for the 2007-2009 Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0 (Non-Evolution, Manual Transmission).

The Lancer kit comes with a high-strength polypropylene inlet pipe that contours to the tight engine compartment of the Lancer. This inlet pipe leads to the wheel well where an aluminum MAF sensor adapter is located then followed by a 2.75×7-inch performance dryflow air filter.

AC Schnitzer introduces a nifty upgrade to the interior of your manual transmission BMW interior. This cool gear shift knob, has a digital display reading that indicates the gear as it shifts. It fits many current and previous generation BMW and MINI models with manual transmission.

The digital shift knob is easy to read with its bright red display that is equipped with a light sensor designed to adjust brightness in various lighting conditions.
