At a recent seminar, one of the attendees reminded me of why most seasoned Internet marketers are not more successful. This seminar attendee and I were sitting at a table in the hotel's lounge with several other guests and speakers. He began to enumerate all of the things that he had done the first NIGHT of the seminar. He'd gone back to his room, and, in the middle of the night, implemented three techniques that speakers had shared on the first day.

I wanted to yell "YES!" He'd discovered the golden "keys to the kingdom." He understood that nothing happens until you take massive action. He was one of those rare individuals that doesn't over-analyze but just DOES the things he understands he needs to do.

As I sat there at the table, I wanted to grab the others, shake them, and ask, "Why didn't you guys do the same thing last night?"

By the time you've been in Internet marketing for a year or so, IF you've studied everything you could get your hands on, you should know all that you need to know to begin to succeed online. Then it's just a matter of DOING it.

Here's a list of things you probably already know but aren't acting upon:

1) Follow-up Is The Key. We all know that most customers won't buy on the first contact.

2) Procrastination Kills Most Projects. You don't have to do things perfectly the first time, you just need to get started.

3) Test And Track Everything. If you are not constantly trying to improve your results, they won't improve. Amazingly, most people know that many things they're doing are not producing the desired results, yet they keep doing them!

4) Practice Your Copywriting. It's the words on your WebPages, in your e-zines, and in your e-mails, that sell.

5) FOCUS For Greater Results. Decide on an objective, lay out the steps to reach that objective, and then force yourself to ignore most other things.

Force yourself to do just the five things above (that you already KNOW - that you should be doing) and your results will shock you. After you've actually made these five things HABITS then you can focus on implementing other, new, more-productive habits.

Form the new habits one at a time, but start today. NO, start now!

Have you ever thought about the number of people who want to really make a career in networking, those who want an above average income from their business and how much time they give to preparation?

How many of those in your downline pick up a good book, order a report, subscribe to and read two or three newsletters each week? How many attend training conference calls or take even one workshop on business building?

Picture the professional athlete watching hours of game tapes and studying the moves and techniques of champions as well as the opponents they will face in the coming game. Watch as they spend hours and hours practicing, training and preparing for the next game.

They know to stay on top where the big money is the must be much better than the average person on their team and in the industry and that only comes from learning and preparing.

I'll bet you have some people in your downline who think throwing a hundred dollars and an application at your program will make them a top producer in your company. Just by joining they would make a 100K plus income. Could it be that no one told them any difference? Who enrolled them? I know it wasn't you. You know better. You read newsletters (you're reading this one) If you follow the "preparing principal" you have passed that along principal to those you enroll in your program.

Learning and preparation is the "Breakfast of Champions" It starts off every day of your career the right way.

All experience marketers know the old adage that “the money is in the list “.Network marketers have developed contact lists in many different ways over the years. Generally a sign up form is offered with a free giveaway. Someone simply fills out the form with a name and e-mail address to “opt in” to the autoresponder and the free giveaway is provided to them. In return for that, they generally understand that they have granted permission for whoever made the offer to follow up with other e-mails with other offers.

Several years ago the singular e-mail opt-in was taken a step further when software was developed that asked the first recipient to forward the offer to 4-5 of there friends in order to qualify for the free giveaway, or perhaps even a very low priced offering. Hence, list building became viral, meaning that a single e-mail to a single individual could be multiplied in a near exponential manner as each level of opt-ins continued to forward the offer to even more people.

The Web 2.0 World

Of course the latest to trend in the network and internet marketing community is the Web 2.0 world of blogs, YouTube, Twitter and the like. The use of videos in various social networks in order to communicate and establish a following with the subscribers has become ubiquitous. The net result of all this is that seemingly the most effective way to communicate with potential subscribers, or even to acquire subscribers and customers these days is probably through the use of videos.

Videos have a number of advantages, including the ability to present yourself as a sincere and a knowledgeable person in a face-to-face way. A potential subscriber or customer is more likely to buy from someone they they feel like they know. So
consequently, it’s almost imperative these days that you use the video medium in order to communicate with potential prospects to turn them into eventual customers.

The New Viral Video World

Interestingly, a new video software system to build a contact list and potentialcustomer list virally has been introduced. Internet guru Joel Therien, CEO ofKiosk.ws, is in the process of launching very easy to use video building software called Easy Video Producer that has the potential to be a very effective way of generating contacts in a viral manner. This system is unique because the software itself is being offered as the free giveaway for this video “tell-a-friend” system. Essentially, the system will offer you free and extraordinarily easy to use video generating software that builds and posts your personally produced video and information capture form on a website or blog. A contact management system is included with the free offer as well.

The viral concept is that you would then attract traffic to introduce yourself to the prospect in a more personal way, offering them the opportunity to opt in and use the same free software that you used to prepare the video. The prospect and new contact would in turn use his free new system to attract even more potential contacts for his list and yours as well.

As in the earlier e-mail systems, the originator of the viral distribution of the free software would have access to every subscriber in the levels below him. So, what is offered is a system that provides a free and very simple (even a cave man could
do it) method of posting videos to the internet that have a specific purpose of giving away additional software in a viral manner to capture a fast growing network of contacts with whom you can continue to build a relationship.

The Issues I See

The problems with this system are not dissimilar from those in other earlier systems of using free giveaways to build a list. . You first must be able to get your video in front of an audience and in order for them to subscribe, and they in turn must have an audience to subscribe in order for the system to work effectively. It can probably be most effectively used by someone who already has a subscriber list and wants to expand it rapidly.
Another potential negative is that the the new contacts you generate with this list, both directly and indirectly, are not yet buyers and it’s likely that many of them will have no interest in your particular marketing niche. Proper strategy of course is to build credibility over time through a series of value adding free offers that are designed to help categorize their interests. Only then should you move on to the stage of offering them the opportunity to buy your stuff.

This new easy video producer software system appears to offer a simple and easy, no cost way for the experienced, and particularly the relatively inexperienced non-technical networker to make effective use of videos for viral list building, and business promotion.

I’ve shared many strategies to increase website traffic in this blog and here is another easy strategy that you can implement in less than 30 minutes from now.

The strategy is to publish your existing website in different languages and increase your website traffic from the search engines.

This is not a new strategy, but I kind of forgotten about it until one member asked about website translation in our Tuesday With Kenneth Q&A session. (See, when you help people, you help yourself!)

How To Translate Your Entire Website In Less Than 30 Minutes?

I translated the website above into 34 different languages and it took me less than 30 minutes. (I can do it in 5 minutes now!)

Obviously, I didn’t rewrite the articles. I simply uploaded a script to my website and added some codes to the homepage. That’s all!

The script automatically converted my entire website into 34 different languages.

The powerful part is the converted pages are search engine friendly. That’s why I’m getting thousands of extra website traffic to these pages, all from the search engines.

I told you that I tested this traffic strategy on 5 websites. What about the other 4? Do they all experience increase in website traffic?

Yes, they did.

Every one of them recorded significant increase in website traffic. Adsense earnings from these 5 sites also soared by 17%.

In my last blog post, I said that blog plays a different role in advertising. As a follow up, let’s discuss the purpose of blogging and the role it plays in advertising.

My discussion is purely from marketing point of view. If you are blogging for fun or to pass time, that’s another purpose but it’s not our focus here.

So, why blog?

1. To Use It As A Bait

Blog is a good bait to attract traffic to your website.

First, if your blog is search engine optimized (I discussed this last week), it is a good bait to hook search engine traffic.

Second, if you provide useful information on your blog, it is a good bait to hook more traffic through networking and referrals from other bloggers.

Last but not least, it is a good bait to hook your existing traffic, who will revisit your website again and again.

2. To Differentiate Yourself From Others

With so many websites and competition on the net, it’s really not easy to make yourself stand out from the rest.

But with a good blog, you stand a much better chance.

Through blogging, you can connect with your audiance, let them know you better and thus foster better relationship with them.

People like to do business with people they trust. You know this, don’t you?

3. To Stimulate Your Creative Juice

Someone just posted a comment on this blog saying that he run out of things to write for his blog and ask how about me.

I don’t have such a problem because when I read the comments you guys and gals have posted, I will have new ideas for my next post.

The comments in my blog can also help me to generate ideas for my future projects.

The Purpose Of A Blog In Advertising

I said in my last post that it’s not a good idea to advertise your blog directly because the traffic is not likely to stick long. If you were to advertise, advertise to build a list.

But you can use a blog to increase the conversion rate of your ad, by using your blog as a tool to build your prospects’ trust and confidence in you.

If you have a decent blog, with some good posts and comments from the readers, you can direct the traffic from your squeeze page to your blog.

In the past, I thought this will reduce the conversion rate, since you send traffic away from the squeeze page. But my recent test shows that doing so can actually increase the conversion rate because people know that you are real and you really provide values.

Just a quick technical note. Make sure that you open the link to your blog in a new window, so that your prospects do not navigate away from the squeeze page.

Product Review: Web Traffic Juggernaut

Web Traffic Juggernaut is a new site that says it guarantees more web visitors and online advertising with very little effort or cost. So I decided to put it to the test...

My first impression was the site looks professional and clean, with an attractive look and feel. It is easy to read and understand. Joining the site was easy and painless--they do offer 2 upgrade options but they are not required to gain the benefits.

The Members Area is very well laid out and intuitive--I could figure out what to do after only a few minutes and was able to get up & running in less than 5 minutes. Inside the site, you create links and ads--the links you simply enter any URL links you use into the generator and it transforms them into "Juggernaut" links. You create ads for anything you want to promote using the Juggernaut Ad Generator, which is very easy to use. You can create as many links and as many ads as you like. And they are organized in a logical way--links are displayed in the order you create them but also your 5 most recent links appear on the main page for quick reference. Also, since the link generator is the tool you'll use most, it is also right at the top of the main page when you login. Very smart!

After you've created at least 1 link and 1 ad you can start to generate traffic. Just use and promote the new Juggernaut link instead of the original source link you had. Every time the Juggernaut link is clicked, the page loads followed by a small ad window in the lower right corner. It displays 3 ads PLUS an image with your affiliate link that goes back to Juggernaut. So if anyone clicks the Juggernaut image they see the site, and if they signup they become your referral. It's a great viral feature because you can build referrals without even trying to just by using the site.

Now every time the ad window displays (your Juggernaut links get clicked) you earn credits that get YOUR ad displayed in the ad windows when other members' links get clicked. So the more clicks, the more times your ads get displayed.

And this works virally--meaning as you make referrals into Juggernaut (either by promoting it or just using it and visitors click the Juggernaut image on the ad window to join) you also earn ad credits on THEIR link clicks. And this works up to 5 levels deep. So you can create a massive amount of free ad views and web traffic by referring others to Juggernaut also.

I didn't get to test the full effect of a big downline yet (I just got the tool) but I can tell you the rest of the site works exactly as stated--my links got clicked, I earned credits, and my ads got displayed. Juggernaut even tracked my results so I know how many clicks and how many ad displays. That was an impressive unadvertised extra feature.

There is one more benefit and feature which might be the best of them all--downline emailing. You can email your downline with offers, promotions, or whatever you like, and here is where Juggernaut really shines. They took time to make the emailing often enough that it's valuable as a user, but no so often that it's a burden to your downline. But the best part about this feature (and actually the credit earning too) is that they use a unique dual-matrix technology that builds your downline in 2 ways. First is the typical way--you refer members, who then refer members, etc. But the 2nd matrix is a "forced matrix" that places all new members in a downline in sequential order. Without getting technical, what it means is that if you join and just stay a member (even if you don't do anything) your downline will grow automatically because new members will fill in your forced matrix. And you earn credits on them too. Now THAT's cool.

Overall I have to say I am impressed with Web Traffic Juggernaut. It is simple yet powerful, and delivers on its promises. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to increase traffic and advertising.

Why You Should and How to Cloak Your Affiliate Links

The primary reason you should cloak your affiliate link is to prevent link bypassing.

When you move your mouse over a link in your web browser, it will appear in the status bar.

The Great Spillover Debate

Hello Everyone,

Spillover: Are you looking for it or creating it?

There is no shortage of opinions when it comes to the idea of making money based on spillover.

Does spillover happen? Absolutely.

Is spillover the way to build fantastic wealth? Hardly.

The plain and simple truth of the matter is:

Spillover happens when it does because SOMEBODY is promoting.

In a simple illustration of a 3x matrix, it looks like this:

Level 1 can hold 3 sales.
Level 2 can hold 9 sales.
Level 3 can hold 27 sales.
Level 4 can hold 81 sales.

And so on....

This sort of plan can and often does lead to spillover whenever there is at least one person that is effectively promoting and referring others.

Let's suppose you join a matrix plan and you are going to be a referring "machine". You see the potential and you know that the only place success comes before work is in the dictionary. You're ready to "rock enroll" and you know that you can help a lot of folks in the process because of the way the matrix plan is set up.

You get your three closest associates or friends or family members on the phone and you tell them what you are doing. They are excited and they join.

You now have 3 people on your first level.

Congratulations! You are off to a strong start.

Next, you contact some more close friends, associates, or family members and you plug them in on Level 2. It takes 9 people to fill Level 2.

You now have a full first level and a full 2nd level.

You are making even more money and everyone on your first level is seeing some growth because you created spillover for them by filling your 2nd level.

Your next task is to fill Level 3.

That will take 27 people. (3 x 9 = 27).
Getting tougher to carry that load by yourself, isn't it?

While you are working on filling Level 3, you start to get phone calls from people on Level 2. They want to know where the spillover is. Why aren't you building their downline for them? What's going on?

A couple of the people on Level 1 want to know why their downline is building so slowly. Can't you do something to speed things up? They have to make money so they can make a car payment this week! What are you doing up there, anyway?!?!?

Let's say you are really good at this stuff and you manage to fill your 3rd level with 27 new referrals.

Congratulations! You've done well for yourself. You've created spillover for your first level people and your 2nd level people. But now the 3rd level people want to know where their spillover is and the people on levels 1 and 2 want to know why they aren't making a few thousand dollars yet!

Sound familiar?

I know the true builders recognize some of these comments and questions. They get this sort of nonsense every single day.

Here's the thing that amazes me (and I've seen this a LOT over the years):

Someone will get up WAY too early in the morning, to drive WAY too far to a job they absolutely hate.

They will spend ALL DAY at that job making FAR too little money. They will then drive home in traffic, complaining about their stupid job, their lame boss, their lousy pay, and how this just isn't what they envisioned for their life.

But when their upline sponsor asks them about spending a few minutes a day promoting their web site to help with the team build, they instantly talk about how they don't have time, can't figure out how to log in, don't know where or how to post an ad... "I'm not good with that stuff!", etc...

And then they ask why their downline isn't growing faster.

It's a vicious cycle and I see it repeated throughout the world on a daily basis.

I want to be clear: Matrix plans can help a large number of people because of their design. As sales begin building, the new sales are forced down into the lower levels of the organization and that is called spillover. It does happen and I see people making money as a result.

But rarely do these sorts of people really get in to the big money.

Here is how the big money earners really do it:

They build with a team. They seek out fellow builders and workers and they work together with an attitude and approach to CREATING spillover rather than receiving spillover.

Suddenly, it's no longer about one person being able to refer 30 or 40 people on their own. It becomes about a team pulling together to create a massive group-wide momentum that results in the income levels that we end up reading about with other people.

Consider this:

If you are the kind of person spending an hour in the morning to drive to an 8 hour job and then another hour getting home and still not making the kind of income you desire, consider dedicating yourself to spending just 30 minutes a day and finding others that will do the same to take your life back by building your business.

Someone once told me... EVERY Online opportunity works. And every online opportunity doesn't work. It depends on the person involved and how they approach their business. I have to tell you: I agree 110%.

2 Online Advertising Strategies That Work

Today I’m going to share with you two simple online advertising strategies - one is pretty common and the other one is hardly known!

I call the first strategy “Review And Compare”, and the second strategy “Review And Complement”.

Online Advertising Strategy #1 - Review And Compare

This is the most common strategy used by many online advertisers.

The idea is to pick 2-3 similar products and compare their pros and cons.

You probably have seen such online advertisements before.

There are two approaches to deploy the Review And Compare strategy. One works better than the other.

1) “Independent Review” approach

In this approach, you simply provide an independent review of the 2-3 products that you’re comparing. Many online advertisers will give some star-ratings to the products and ‘purposely’ award more stars to the product that they support.

This advertising approach has been overly used and to be frank, it is not as effective as the second approach below.

2) “Personal Touch” approach

In this approach, instead of writing an independent review, you position yourself as the user of both products that you’re comparing.

The idea is to share your personal experience with the prospects and tell them which product works better for you.

For example, if you are promoting a make money online product, your story can be something like this:

“My name is blar blar blar. I’ve been struggling to make money online….(tell your sad story). Finally I decided to try out product XXX and product YYY….(describe the two products). With product XXX, I made $. But with product YYY, I made $$$. Since product YYY made me more money, if you want my recommendation, I will recommend product YYY. But to be honest, both products have their pros and cons. Here’s my full review of the two products…..”

Despite economic woes, report forecasts $57 billion in revenue in 2009.

With the housing industry in shambles and gasoline costing more than sushi, U.S. consumers are feeling the pinch of a bleak economy.

But apparently, they're still playing plenty of video games. According to a new forecast report by market research group DFC Intelligence, the video game biz is expected to enjoy worldwide revenues in excess of $57 billion next year. That number includes hardware and software sales in 25 countries, 11 of which see annual revenue from games exceeding $1 billion.

"Consumer spending on software is at record levels and the game business seems to actually benefit from a recession because games are a relatively cheap form of home entertainment," said DFC analyst David Cole in a press release.

DFC also predicts that the Wii will go on to win this round of the console war, though they expect the PS3 to match the Wii in terms of annual software sales by 2012.

Interestingly, the PC remained the top platform for games overall in 2007, with online game revenue alone topping $7 billion -- not including retail sales. It would appear those negligible World of Warcraft monthly charges are adding up in a big way.

But he need not feel alone. In our collective memory of the inaugural path, the iconic civil rights marches of the 1960s loom large. But generations of African Americans have also quietly toiled in obscurity, paving the way for this moment. As Obama proceeds through the halls, surveys the stone, views the earth laid out around the inaugural landscape, he can take comfort and strength in the echoes of a long-ignored, often forgotten history.

Before the inaugural ceremony, Obama enters the Capitol through the Crypt, the oldest section of the building. As author Jesse Holland described in Black Men Built the Capitol, slave owners hired out gangs of human property to clear timber, bake bricks, dig foundations and haul limestone.

The Capitol, this temple of freedom, was rising from a hill, in two unconnected wings: House and Senate. The temple was erected by slaves. These forgotten people dug the ditches that drained groundwater from “Capitol Hill” into a fetid swamp, which later became known as a sewer called Tiber Creek. Today, this grassy area is known as the National Mall. The slaves sang as they swung shovels and picks. The echoes of these songs will ring within the crypt’s masonry as the Obama entourage proceeds past the Old Senate Chamber.

This chamber was the site of debates and treaties which grew our nation.

How A Newbie Can Get A JV partnerships

If you've been around Internet marketing for any period
of time, you've probably heard of joint ventures, or
JVs. These are partnerships where all parties (usually
two, but it can be more) profit from the deal.

But if you've been around a while, you've probably
also heard that JVs are difficult to get, especially
if you're brand new. I get questions about JVs all the
time. This Post answers some of the most common ones.

1) I've sent out probably 50 JV proposal emails in the
past three months, and haven't gotten ONE response. How
can I get somebody to say yes? (asked by Clinton Beehler)

ANSWER: Excellent question, and it's probably the most
common one I get on this topic.

Fortunately, the answer is pretty easy, although it
takes a little work to do what I'm going to tell you
to do.

I get several hundred JV proposal emails every single
week. Imagine getting over 1,000 proposal emails a
month. What would you do with email 1,001? Yep, you'd
probably ignore it. I just don't have the time to read
them all, much less respond.

So if you want to get your JV proposal read, regardless
of who you're proposing to, you need to do three things:

* Make your email subject grab their attention. A
generic "JV Proposal" subject line probably won't get
read. But a subject like "PERSONAL: May I promote [his
product]?" might. No guarantees, but remember, your
subject has to compel somebody to open your email or
the rest of your email doesn't matter.

* Lead with what you bring to the table. If your entire
email is about how your partner should promote your
product to make you money, that's no good. Instead,
emphasize how HE can make more money along with you, so
it's a win-win deal. That's a better pitch.

* Make the strongest case by dropping names of well
known people you've worked with before, or people you
already have on board for the JV already. If any of
those people have given you testimonials about how
good it was to work with you, it's definitely smart to
include those in your proposal.

* Be creative. Overwhelm him with profit opportunity,
and really go out of your way to make it painless for
your prospect to say yes. For example, if you'll write
all the sales copy and the email templates for the
promotion, and all he has to do it load stuff up to
his server or autoresponder account, that removes most
of the work for him.

Even if you follow those guidelines, you still won't
get a yes every time, but you'll put the odds in your
favor. That's the best you can do, and it might just
pay off big.

2) How can I get a JV with a big name guru that will
get me four- and five-figure paydays I've heard about?
(asked by Roxie Barletta)

ANSWER: This might literally be the $64,000 question.

People want JVs with the big names because that usually
means more profits. But remember what I told you in my
answer to the previous question...I get several hundred
proposals a WEEK. That reduces your odds.

There are really three main ways to get a JV going
with a big name.

First, you can start by promoting their products and
making them money. This proves you actually bring some
profit potential to the table.

You don't have to win their affiliate contest, or make
them millions. But saying you've already made them
some money helps your case.

Second, get an introduction. You can't force this, so
all you can do is increase your exposure to the big
names and try to develop relationships that might grow
into JVs.

That might mean hanging out in marketing forums and
commenting on their posts. It might mean going to live
events and introducing yourself. It might mean
offering to help them by doing some free work on a
product or launch.

Anything that will help you get to know people is
something worth considering. Out of that could come
partnerships with those people, or perhaps with people
they know...and that might include a big name.

Third, you can shoot for a level below the big names.
This might sound strange, but sometimes it's best NOT
to target the big names. Instead, target the up and
coming marketers.

When you see a name you don't recognize in the second
or third spot in somebody's affiliate contest, that
might be a good person to try.

For example, I did a couple JVs with Mike Filsaime
before he was a big name. Several of them made solid
profits for both of us, but that's nothing compared to
what our partnerships bring in now.

By targeting somebody who wasn't a big name yet, I
grew a relationship with somebody who's now a big
name. And he can say the same about me.

3) What in the world can I offer a JV partner if I
don't have a list? (asked by Tyrone Hemmenway)

ANSWER: I get this question a lot, and it's a real
challenge for people relatively new to online
marketing. Fortunately, you CAN get JV partners even
if you don't have a list.

Having a list is great, but it's only one of the
things you can offer a partner. When you don't have a
list, or if your list is really small, that's where
creativity can make a big difference.

For example, let's say you don't have a list, but you
want to do a JV with a particular person you've read
posts from in a marketing forum. Ask yourself what you
can offer this person that will make the partnership
pretty much equal.

He might have a list, so he might be the one promoting
a product to people, but can you contribute in some
other way? Probably so. Here are some possibilities:

* If you can write sales copy, you could write some to
promote your joint product. That might save a ton of
money for both of you.

* If you can create websites, you could do the
technical grunt work of getting everything set up so
he doesn't have to worry about it. That's great if the
person you're partnering with is already very busy.

* If you're good at creating products, you can take
more of the creative load and let the other person
concentrate on other things.

You get the point.

Being able to promote a product to your own list is a
nice contribution to a JV, but it's not the only thing
that can help a partner. Anything you can contribute
that can save time, save money or bring in more profit
is usually very attractive to potential partners.

And when you propose your JV with these creative things
in there, that has the extra benefit of setting your
proposal apart from the others your partner might get.

4) Do JVs work outside the Internet Marketing niche?

ANSWER: This is an easy one...YES! In fact, JVs are
more common outside of IM than inside. That's where
they started, actually.

Think about when you go to McDonald's and order a
Happy Meal. The toy that comes inside the box is
usually from Disney, or Pixar or some other company.
That's a JV.

So if you're in a niche other than IM, don't think JVs
are off-limits for you.

5) What makes a JV one of those monsters that
generates huge profits? (asked by Lakisha Facey)

ANSWER: I think people focus too much on the profits
sometimes, when JV relationships are more important in
the long run, but profits do count. And the most
profitable JVs have some things in common.

First, they promote a great product. For example,
Steven Clayton & Tim Godfrey released Commission
Blueprint earlier this year. It was a fantastic
product, and our JV did very well. A great product
makes everything easier.

Second, the most successful JVs leverage at least one
very responsive list. There's no way around that. You
can make good money without a big list involved, but
you have to have some buyers, and that means at least
one responsive list.

When I promoted Commission Blueprint, I knew it was a
perfect fit for my list, so I was confident that they
would respond. That made Steve and Tim more willing to
work with me to create a killer bonus for my readers,
and it paid off well for both of us.

Third, they're professional. The websites work, the
products are laser targeted at good markets, the
graphics for everything look nice, and the promotion
efforts hang together well.

If you want a super successful JV, you need to make
sure it has a solid foundation of all of those things.
If they're not in place, your chances of success go down.

There are other factors that might make a difference,
but those are the biggest three.

Remember, JVs are about profit AND relationships. Not
every JV will be a profit gusher, but that's usually
less important in the long run than developing
relationships that grow into larger profit engines in
the future.

What does he WANT from you? NOT, what can you offer to him?

Only when you know those answers, can you focus your Copy on the
needs and wants of ONE precise person.

There are many ways to research your target Customer, but the best way is to use ...

Empathy!

How would YOU feel if you were in his situation, sitting there in his home or office, reading your marketing message for the very first time?

Frustrated? Cynical? Despondent? Excited? Relaxed? Uptight?

Yes of course you must solve his problem, but you won't achieve that simply by offering a book, software, or a Cashmere sweater. You must first of all gain his trust by appealing to his emotions - not his logic.

And you can best do that by identifying his state of mind, reassuring him that you understand his REAL needs, and offering to solve his problem.

For instance on one of my websites I promise to end the reader's FRUSTRATION - I show them how to get sign-ups, step by step.

So when your Ideal Customer reads your message he has to be saying to himself "Hey, you're talking about ME fella - tell me more"
