I did it in 24 hours, not because I were a good stitcher -thing that I´m not- but because it was my Niece´s birthday 24 hours later. She is a dolly and this style was the perfect match for her. It´s not too difficult eventhough it requires -as all good things do need- care.</strong></span></div><br /><div align="justify"><span style="font-family:lucida grande;font-size:130%;color:#000099;"><strong><br />This is the style that most of the time we recognize as "Redwork", "Greenwork" or "Bluework" when done with those colors, or colored when it is so. Pat taught me that, thanks Pat ;) I also learned that there are some differences with Blackwork. I took some notes (the order is cronologic):<br /><br /><span style="color:#006600;">My big mistakes:</span><br /><span style="color:#006600;">1.</span> "Ubi". Ubication in the space.<br /><span style="color:#006600;">2.</span> "Quanto". How many. Count correctly without forgetting the spaces between each repetition. Otherwise I´ll make the same mistake as shown in the pictures: the whole design is not centered.<br /><br /><span style="color:#006600;">(a)</span> It cannot be done in a hurry.<br /><span style="color:#006600;">(b)</span> Requires -at least for a complete newbie as me- to treat each part of each figure as a unit.<br /><span style="color:#006600;">(c)</span> Cannot do it without good friends helping and encouranging you: Yahoo is a great place for it! My thanks to moderators and members.<br /><span style="color:#006600;">(d)</span> About looping, doing it just at the end is ok. But try to do it just passing under each stitch is better.<br /><span style="color:#006600;">(e)</span> As Linn -correctly- said, I have to remember that where I started I´ll have to come back at the end and not somewhere else.<br /><span style="color:#006600;">(f)</span> Beware with single stitches!
