It's such a beautiful and quiet harbor but for this event all the Maine windjammers sail into the harbor and enjoy steamed mussels and a steel drum band. It cracks me up every year because its not something you think of seeing on the Maine coast - a steel drum band. It's so fresh, crisp and clear. We love it. We have saved all of our gallon jugs for when we driver there. We have figured out that if we go with a minimum of 6 gallon jugs it equals out price wise to buying six gallons of water at the store. I have a great photo of a carrot that be harvested last year. I 'll have to dig through my archive Cd's and see if I can find it.
