right now im at work anticipating tomorrows move. i'm so fucking excited i can't even begin to describe it. yet, for some weird reason, my mood today remains meloncholy. I can't help but to think of this time last year and the awesome shit I was doing and the awesome friends I had.

Yesterday

I finally got my Set Your Goals x Rockett shirt in the correct size.
I figured out how to work the DSLR Remote Pro Software
Hung out with Mikie and gave him his part of the shirts to sell at the show tonight.
Got all the Immunity Shirts rolled / labeled
Got the next Immunity shirt print ready.

Today

Got a hotel room for before/after the video shoot tonight.
Got said room FOR FREE

New Developments

Yesterday I downloaded something called DSLR Remote Pro. This program basically let's me control my Canon XT through my laptop.

The reason this is important is because I am going to be using this software for the basis of my Immunity Photobooth that I will be constructing in the beginning of the year to take with me when I sell @ events or shows.

I'm so fucking bored with the current state of hardcore. I don't think that there has really been a hardcore album this year that I've gone apeshit over. Tons of pop punk, hip hop, and other shit, but no real hardcore has done it for me.

I'm going to start posting designs on here as I do them. They'll be mock-ups for Immunity more than likely.

I have ALWAYS loved this design and it's kind of become my mantra. When I lived in Vegas there was this huge surge of kids talking about how they were "still edge" (although, it could easily be debated) and while I thought it was cool, I also felt like something more needed to be said. With all the Trash Talk's and Ceremony's talking about their insane amount of hatred for just about everything, I felt the need to put myself and others like me in a different category. We were Still Posi.
I never felt that this design got the attention it deserved. Either my printing messed it up or something like that happened. I'm really looking forward to doing this press with Michael from Hellfish.
Small quantity run, less than thirty will be printed. Will be printed on Gildan Charcoal more than likely.

Time Marches On

So last Tuesday Tash and I went to go look at an apartment. We liked it, the guy was cool, it was close and it was cheap. Done deal. Well, except we needed some cash. I asked Rob to lend me a few bucks till Tash got her radio winnings (my lucky ass girlfriend!) He says yes, blah blah blah.
Wednesday rolls around, Rob can't do it. We stress out, I talk to the guy. We worked something out. BOOM we move in FOR SURE next Friday. About fucking time right?

Wednesday we drop off the deposit after work and head to PA. The drive was cool. We just bullshit around, whatever.
Thursday was T-day. The turkey was mediocre, but we had fun.
Friday we just kinda hung around the house, rode ATV's, visited with the fam. We deep fried whole chickens and they were the best chicken I ever had!

Saturday we headed home and just kinda klutzed around the house, we saw BOLT! in 3d (DO SEE) and wondered around the mall.
Sunday was much of the same, just hanging out at the house.

Today was kind of nuts, it 8:32am right now and I opened this window at like 7:10.

Tash and I found a place. We're going down to the apartment after work today to put some money down. I have to schedule an appointment with the gas and electric.

Friday

Went to School of Rock and hung out with STYG. Jesse is such a good dude, i'm so glad to have him as a friend. So sincere, just an all around good dude.
Met some cool kids that live here in Jersey. It's a relief to find kids with common goals / mindsets / morals. Didn't think it would happen, but stoked it did. Croosh sleep over this weekend.

Saturday

Went to look @ a house but the owner blew us off.
Ate at Panera Bread Co. The sandwhich was good (Roast Beef) but the soup (broc./cheddar) was lackluster.
Browsed the mall.
Went to Yonkers Raceway, lost $10.
Ate sushi in NYC
Rented Saints Row 2

I'm reporting live from my bed right now. I feel like shit, my stomach is fucked, my right ear won't pop, and my head has been pounding since I woke up. It's official.. I'M SICK.

In other news, i've been meaning to post all week. I got pretty serious about things on Monday and did some serious work on the Immunity myspace. I also tightened up the shirt design, a tweak or two here and there and it should be ready to send off by Friday.

Now if you know me, I'm sure you read that last part twice and said to yourself, "WTF?" Well, I'm sending my design off to a good friend of mine Micheal from Hellfish. (siq brag/namedrop) for the first Immunity shirt to ever be printed by someone else. The reason being, well... there's a few reasons.

I do not have anywhere to print right now. I'm staying at my step-dads house and I don't even have anywhere to play video games regularly.
I wanted to have at least 1 super legit shirt printed by the end of the year.
I wanted to support my friends.

Now, you can go ahead and question my DIY-ness like you have before, but I'll say it again. I wouldn't do it if I felt it compromised the things I believed in. There, now fucking drop it and buy a shirt when it comes out. Super limited run (think 20) and I'm going to do the same design in a different colorway after this one sells out.

I'm going to be in a video for my friends band at the beginning of the month. If all goes according to plan the shirt I mentioned before will be worn by someone in the band, and it will sky rocket me into fame. While the last part of that sentence was mere humor, the first part was not. This video will be dope and the band is awesome. Check them out here.

This week has been tiring, I'm not sure why. Honestly, I think the monotony is starting to get to me. Every day of the week is assigned a certain dinner and everyday for lunch I have the leftovers from the night before. I know it's weird, but I really like a variety in my food. I get burnt out quickly.

My bike rides like an angel. (I know, that is a bad way to describe it, I guess what I'm trying to say is that it rides heavenly?) I go to the park after work (not today or yesterday) and do laps. It's awesome. My legs feel like jelly afterwards and I have never experienced that.

Tomorrow I'm going to see 3oh!3 and Friday I get to hang with Jesse and Casey from Stick To Your Guns (siq namedrop/brag : the sequel) and watch the show. Should be tight.

I'm going to go try to feel better or something. Bye.

I'm not going to do What I'm Wearing today. Mostly because I've been wearing the same shit since I moved here. I have NO clothes.

I saw Role Models this weekend. It was pretty good. Go check it out.

Went to Yonkers, NY yesterday. There's this small casino, so Tash and I checked it out. 18 to gamble, I couldn't believe it. Also, no smoking. It was cool we both won some money, well technically. I broke even cause 30 bucks fell out of my pocket at some point, whatever.

We aren't getting the house. It's too much for us to handle, so we are looking for a different place. I'm getting tired of getting my hopes up only to be let down.

New Immunity Clothing shirts should be ordered this week. On sale as soon as I get them. I hope this works out. I might do a different color way depending on how this one sells.

Work is so fucking boring.

Rockett Ride or Die Jacket
(A quick story about this jacket. I won this jacket in a contest on absolutepunk.net , I had to name a new collaboration shirt that Rockett had done with Set Your Goals. I called it Set Your Ghouls (I know, I'm clever.) and I got to pick what other shirt I wanted. I kindly asked for this hoodie, and Travis from Rockett gave it to me. Amazing dude, I would buy from them in a heartbeat.)

Under that I am wearing this excellent baby blue Four Year Strong shirt. It's a tribute to 80's skateboarding and says "Rise or Die!" I guess dying is the theme for todays clothing choice.

Pants
I got these pants from Hot Topic (lame, I know) for like $30. I was stoked. They fit really well, they stretch nicely, and they were cheap! I like these jeans.

Shoes
I got the Vans Fixed Gear Authentics. They have this awesome reflective trim, as well as a COG on the heel of the shoe where it would normally say Vans, and a chain on the inside where the sole is. Pretty sweet if you ask me.

So there you have it. That's what I'm wearing today.
I'm also thinking of doing a photoshoot for a Day In The Life Of.. maybe once I get my house? Who knows.

This Weekend
So this weekend was pretty cool. It rained all night friday night, so we just grabbed some food and played rockband 2 / fallout 3 in the basement. On saturday we went to the mall and went shopping, and went to see Madagascar 2 after we looked at some shitty house in Jersey City. Sunday, Tash and I went to eat again (keeping with our tradition) and just kinda drove around looking for houses. I think we really found one this time. She's actually on her way to drop off our application right now. The lady renting it said she really likes us so I don't think it's too far fetched to say that we got this house.

Mondays are always slow and the company I'm working at has really hit a dry spell so it's even more slow. GUH.

As a country we've been through some tremendously horrendous things. We've been living the past 7 years under a blanket of fear placed over us by our own government.

Starting January we will see the change that we have been promised by President Obama. It will be a slow change, but a change nonetheless.

I woke up today and felt a new dawn. Things are going to get better. I can feel it.

Yesterday / Monday it rained for about 20 hours. Crazy.

Today is a weird day. Work is slow, conversation is slow. All in all, today probably would have been better spent in bed.

I've been having the craziest dreams for the past week or so. The worst part, is that I can't remember them. I can ALWAYS remember my dreams. Maybe it's some kind of weird mental thing that seems to be attributing to my designers block.

Speaking of which, I want to go and buy a Wacom tablet this weekend. Maybe start learning to draw. I have this insatiable hunger for being creative lately and it is making me go nuts. All I can do at work is dream of what I'm going to be doing when I get out of work.

I fixed my camera yesterday, so maybe I'll go out and take some pictures. I always say that I'm going to go do that, but I never do. Weird, right?

I need to get my bike fixed too. I bought a Schwinn Caliente off of CL but it needs new tires. I don't know if I'm going to do that this week or next. This week I have a lot that I want to buy. So we'll see.

This weekend was nuts.

Friday the lady, the brother, and I all went to go see SAW V. We grabbed some food at the mall and walked around for a bit before the movie. It was.. alright. Not the best of the series that's for sure.

Saturday we went to look at a house. It was a beautiful house, shitty 'hood. We'll see... So far it's the only place we've went to see that we actually like. It's very spacious and the landlord is very accommodating.

After we went to look at the house we took a trip to Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We ate at this place called 'FoodSwings.' It was a vegan fast food place. It was excellent. Williamsburg is a very... hip place. There were bikes EVERYWHERE and everyone had dogs and shit. It was pretty dope.

Yesterday Tash and I woke up and got some breakfast alone. Drove around our city just looking around and looking for houses. We made a 30 minute drive for some house appointment and the house looked like shit. So we hit up walmart looking for bike parts, but it was closed! WTF.

We went to The Higher show last night. We hung out with Seth for a while, found out some of the details for the new album (out in march) and some details on the "single." I guess JA RULE is going to be on one of the new songs, it should be interesting. It was good to see them again, they are so on point when they play, it's fucking nuts.

Work today is kind of crazy, obviously not TOO crazy if I am sitting here blogging, but this took me about 45 minutes to do so.

Work is crazy. There's always something going on.
Today our phones / internet went out. Shitstorm ensued.

Obviously they are back on.

I bought a bike finally. Schwinn Caliente. It's going to be awesome when I get it all fixed up. I'm thinking about stormtroop'n this bitch out. (See Rob & Big) (Flat white frame, flat black rims / bar tape)

I already got a raise. Feels good to be appreciated.
I also got a new phone (I don't know if I've mentioned that yet.) So if you don't have my number just shoot me an email or something and ask for it.

Tonight I think Tash and I are going to go see SAW V and lurk around the mall. Tomorrow we are going to look at a house and go to a sweet vegan place in NYC.

Ive been to the city twice already since Ive been here. I want to go to the Halloween Critical Mass in the city but Im not sure my bike will be finished by then, and we're going to be with Kyle. I don't think he'll be able to make it.

I want to hurry up and get a house, I have this itch for screen printing right now, and I just can't wait!!
