These images display the amazing canine loyalty. This dog stood by his companion after been run over by a car on the street until the traffic came to a near halt.

Loyal till the very end - This canine again makes the old saying true: dogs are man's best friend.

Tokyo After The Apocalypse

If you have been to Tokyo, chances are that these fantasy images will look familar with all the building landmarks. Devoid of human inhabitation, these shows how parts of Tokyo would look like if it would ever faced the apocalypse. Nature once again takes over eeriely to claim its land but instead of a brim outlook it does seem to be awfully peaceful. The delicious Meat House

Joel Richards from EASYJO.com created this delicious-looking house out of sausages, bacon and other eatable components and got some serious attention, deserved attention if you ask me, that house looks good enough to eat. Great job and looking forward to their next meat creation.

Five Mysterious Skulls: Dare They Be Called, Human?

This isn't your most recent episode of Unsolved Mysteries. In fact, these are five authentic skulls dug up and discovered from nearly every corner of the globe. If the skulls are actually of human origin has been put up for debate by some. Either way, these anomalies will either give you a great costume idea, inspiration to go on your own Indian Jones-style adventure, or just provide a reason for some really freaky dreams.

The Horned Skull

During an archaeological dig in Sayre, Bradford County, Pennsylvania in the 1880s, a number of human skulls were unearthed. These skeletons were anatomically correct, except for the anomaly of their projections, two inches above the eyebrow, and the fact that their average height in life would have been around seven feet tall. The bones were sent to the American Investigating Museum in Philadelphia, where they were stolen - never to be seen again.

Starchild Skull

This peculiar skull was found in a mine tunnel, 100 miles Southwest of Chihuahua. Dental analysis have ascertained that the skull is that of a five year old child. However, the interior of the skull is 20cm larger than the average adult cranial cavity. The optic nerve is situated at the bottom of the eye socket, rather than the back.

The back of the skull is flattened, but not by artificial means. Carbon dating places the skull's age at approximately 1100 BCE. DNA testing has determined that the child had a human mother, but useful lengths of nuclear DNA for further testing could not be recovered. In 2004, Royal Holloway College of the University of London revealed “fibers” in the bone of the skull and a reddish residue, neither of which are known or recorded to exist prior to the discovery.

Peruvian Skulls

These odd elongated skulls originate from Peru. They were excavated in Nazca - close to the mysterious Nazca lines. As with the horned skull race, skeletal remains reveal that this race was extremely tall - up to nine feet in height. Similar skulls have been excavated in Mexico and are on display in museums. Some of the elongated skulls showed evidence of ancient brain surgery, suggesting an advanced knowledge and understanding of biology. Suggestions that the skulls were altered by a process of binding the skull in infancy, when the cranial bones are soft, encouraging them to grow into an un-natural shape, have been rejected. Nevertheless, skull binding cannot increase the internal capacity of the cranial void - and evidence points to the fact that in the case of the Peruvian and Mexican skulls, the cranial void is significantly larger than in a normal skull. It is intriguing also to consider the Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten and his family - who were depicted in hieroglyphics as having a large misshapen skull.

Robert Connolly Discoveries

Robert Connolly was researching the paper “In Search of Ancient Wisdom" when he came across these intriguing skulls. During his research, Robert photographed them:

This skull is in all respects similar to modern skulls, with only several factors out of proportion. The size of eye sockets are about 15% larger than normal. The cranial cavity is almost double that of a normal human - the estimated cranial capacity ranges between minimum of 2600 cm3 to 3200 cm3.

What is noticeable about the remnants of the facial portion is that the characteristics are entirely within the range of a normal human skull. The cranial cavity, on the other hand, is extremely large - with the cavity exceeding 3000cm3 Also, the two protruding "lobes" are highly anomalous.

Bulgarian Skull

This skull cannot visibly classified as human - but is interesting. It was discovered in 2001, the Rodopi Mountains, Bulgaria. Very little else is known at this point in time.

Paintings On Leaves

This is leaf art, a delicate work of art from India. This beautiful art originated in the southern India (Kerala). Its done on dry Peepal (Ficus religiosa) leaves.

Its one of the oldest form of art, which shows the creativity & perfection of the artists. Though now only a few artists throughout the world are left who practice this leaf art.

So how do we create it?

If you are among those who can hold the brush & create some artistic stuff you are half way through.

Mr. CrookedBrains made & presented me a painting on very such leaf during our courtship in our college days & its way back then (about ten years) that I knew about paintings on Peepal leaf for the first time & how its done.

Place a few leaves in a bowl full of water for a month or so. But do remember to check it once every few days to see the condition of the leaves. The purpose of soaking the leaves is to remove the outer layer of the leaves. After being in water for long, the leaves get a film over them, which you need to clean by washing it off or use a brush periodically. And do remember to change the water with a fresh one periodically. And one other thing patience is a virtue along with fragile handling here.

Once the outer skin is lost, it leaves behind a beautiful bony structure, usually off-white in color.

Now dry it for a day & you got a leaf to paint on. What's that you are waiting for now, pick up your brushes get to work!

Cats have no fear of exploiting new technology in their war against us. In fact, they are encouraged from kitten hood to immerse themselves in the internet. Several humans of middle eastern origin have recently been jailed for researching bomb making on the internet. Professing their innocence strongly, little did they know that they were the unwitting dupes of the feline super villains they once called "Mr Tibbles" and "Angel Princess". If you think your cat is simply entranced by your fish tank screen saver, think again. While you are in the kitchen opening the latest can of de-luxe Tuna chunks (and beware, cats much prefer dolphin, by their own admission), young Atticus the Catticus is plotting the next outrage.

They Have Strange Hypnotic Powers

Another member of the youth arm of KITKAT tries to fool its unwitting human "owner" in to thinking it is just a super cute ball of fur. In order to effect world domination, KITKAT have been pursuing rigorous physical training, sometimes involving highly elaborate military training grounds, tucked away in the back gardens of their human "owners" and masquerading as harmless garden furniture. Here a member of KIKTAT trains secretly, unaware that he has been caught on film by another one of our undercover agents. We must act now to extinguish this feline threat before it is too late! Today, the back garden, tomorrow your rugs, settees and Wedgwood china!

They have a Special Air Service

Another great photo opportunity, or so the hapless "owner" of this elite band of trained assassins believes. As the day of the master plan draws near, many cats are becoming lackadaisical about whether or not their future slaves see them in their training routines. Notice the cat in the bottom right hand corner, carefully taking in whether or not his training has worked or not. This offhand attitude only goes to show the dismissive attitude that cats have towards us and what little regard they have for us.

They Have Secret Powers of Levitation

Caught in a moment of distraction, this cat is all the proof that is needed to show that the feline species has been quietly interbreeding with an unknown alien race who can levitate and that skill is being passed down the generations. While this phenomenon is still rare, it seems to be on the increase and can be traced back to around the same point in time as the high speed digital camera. However, when all cats have this ability they will strike and humanity will be reduced to a subjugated role while the cats live a life of irresponsibility and decadent and degenerate sexual partnering.

Cats will stoop to anything in their unquenchable thirst for power and here is all you need to see to realize that they have been purveying kitty porn for decades in the guise of cute pictures which their "owners" then frame and show off to guests and friends. In fact, this cat is performing an unspeakable act on itself which would shock and horrify you were it to be named. So perverse if the act that you would probably have to look it up in a dictionary.

After all of this evidence, do you need any further proof that cats are evil and plan to take over the world? Run, run and tell you and don't look back!

Forget what you thought you knew about architecture, because this house will blow your mind; the layout of the house, the views and the sheer architectural artistry and imagination which made it come to life.
The Wilkinson Residence, designed by architect Robert Harvey Oshatz, is a one of a kind piece of architectural art. Located in Portland, Oregon, this house architecture design and location bring the main level of the house into the tree canopy to evoke the feeling of being in a tree house. I call it, the house that flows.

The client asked for a house that not only became a part of the natural landscape but, also addressed the flow of music. This unique design uses a natural wood ceiling which floats on curving laminated wood beams and glass walls.

I love how the spaces in this amazing house flow inside and out - One has to actually stroll through the house to capture it’s complexities and it’s connection to the exterior; it seems as if the house almost wraps itself around you.
