Hello people for those of you who visit this blog. Take a look next door to my posty on English Rock band Purple Melon nice lil interview I did with them last week.. Some wicked lads from London.. See link above.

OK, so I just had to see it. Michael Jackson's This is it. This is a must see film for any fan or Michael or simply put, music. Tthere were cheers & clapping during some of Michael's performance rehearsals in the movie theater. These are rare seen events sound checks & rehearsals of any performer that are closed to the public. Been to a few of Paul McCartney's, it's like your own private gig! Bought the Red collage tee & the CD also.

Lots of humor. The movie stirs emotion. I had chills most of the time. I did not want the film to end. I could have sat thru another hour. The choreography & videography was brilliant. One could only imagine what these gigs would have been like if Michael would have been alive today. The film is well made. Go see it!!

Went into local Best But to check out The Beatle's Rock Band, again. Sadly, it wasn't working. (RB game) So I had to ask, if I could have the Beatles Promo Rock Band Poster. I told them how huge a fan I was of The Beatles and told them about my last Macca experience at The New Cowboy's stadium with it's Humungo video screen.. They laughed and let me have the poster! Made my day I tell you. It didn't hurt that I had to buy another monitor for my computer.. Will post a proper piccie of the poster when it's day light,, Very cool!

hey kids it's 4:30 am on the west coast -yeah why am I up? Yesterday, I was on youtube sorting thru vids. I came across Radioheads brilliant live version of Karma Police at Glastonbury. Why, had I not paid attention before? It's seems like the 1st time I've heard and I noticed it's a defenate rip from Sexy Sadie. Hear the piano lines? am I slow or what? HA ! brilliant haunting song with lyrics to match, not to mention, The Beatle's lines of Sexy Sadie.. I knew I wasn't hearing things.. Wonder what Paul & Ringo think? So I post this vid for those that have never heard it before.. Karma Police Radiohead Live at Glastonbury, brilliant live performance..

I'd put this one in One of the best songs ever catergory...:)

Good Morning world!!

How's is everyone this fine day? Sittin here, having a cup of coffee and decided to Listen to another cd of the Mono box set.. Which one? Please Please Me. Damn! Saw her Standing there is off the hook. The sound quality is superb. It does help, that I have a stereo speaker hooked to my computer. Talked to some people that have the Beatles Rock band and they LOVE it! Anyone have it reading this?

Of course, Harleyblues, hasn't had the time to play it yet. Can't afford it either with the purchase of the Mono set & all these Macca concerts that I have been attending. See other blog Sir Paul McCartney & The Beatles guest band Purplemelon.

It was rather said to hear that Lucy, Jullian's mate, past away this past week from Lupus. So young. Bless her heart. She will be forever remembered for Lucy in The Sky with Diamonds.
It's my birthday this week I wonder if Macca will finally give me a ring? YEAH RIGHT! lol

The Beatle's Invade US Again!

Hey People!!

For some reason I thought it was 9-9-09 today! Where Beatle's Remastered Catalog & Beatle's Rock Band is to be released. went to work and there, near my desk, was the latest issue of Entertainment weekly with John & Paul on the cover. How nice for someone to put this mag my desk. I still haven't seen Rolling Stone's cover issue of the Beatles. I thought to myself, after work, I will go to Best Buy and see what they're doing to kick off the newly released Beatle's Rock band .. I went towards the back of the store, And there it was, placed in a nice display on a large flat screen tv in HD. Playing at the time was "Saw Her Standing there" How do you play it I said to myself?

A Best Buy employee comes around to offer some help. So he picked a song and put it on "easy". For the begiinner. It seemed rather cool. I had picked up the plastic Hofner before hand and pressed some of the buttons, Accidentally, turning off the song ha! He proceeded to show me how the game works.. Where you follow the cords by color following along to the video . I had decided to come back tomorrow to try The Beatle's game since it is the official day ! :)

Which to buy Mono or Stereo

There has been lots of opinions whether to buy the Beatle's Mono or Stereo Box set. I made the choice to go with the Mono version. I'd like to hear the music as it was intended to be, in Mono. I ordered the box set almost two weeks ago online and it better be here tomorrow as promised. I am a bit disappointed Abbey Road & Let It Be NOT to be included.

I cannot wait to hear what these remastered versions have to offer?. Hopefully, it will kick ass to the Capitol Records Box set that was released a few years back. The Capitol Records Box set was kinda weak in my opinion. We will see. Did you pre - order Your Beatle's Box set? More tomorrow, I'll tell you how I made out with Rock band..

I had wondered when I was going to get my box set from Bull Moose. I checked my receipt and it stated they would be sending the Mono Box set the day of 9/9/09. I did got to my local 7-11 and resisted buying a single cd placed on the counter ( there is a display stand of Beatles Stereo version's) Yesterday, I went back in and bought the Abbey Road. I don't notice any difference from my other copy that I have at home. However, I am at work and playing Abbey Road, quietly.
About Rock Band, NO, I haven't been back to Best Buy this week to play it Anyone here reading this? have YOU bought Rock Band? and what do YOU think of it?

dang! I still haven't gotten my Mono Box set in the mail, Yet. So, I am listening to the remastered Mono versions on YouTube starting with the White Album. Just heard Happiness is a Warm gun now. now Blackbird.. I can't wait!

What the Hell is wrong with PETA?!!

I just read via The Mail online that Peta, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, is slaughtering animals, WTF?! Paul McCartney, as you know, is a staunch supporter of PETA.
Isn't there anyway to socialize these poor abandoned animals, without killing them? This story pissess me off.

"A PETA spokesman said the charity took in more than 10,000 dogs and cats in 2008 and.
most of those that were put down could hardly be called pets. 'They were unsocialised, never having been inside a building of any kind or known a pat on the head'.

PETA, better come out with some type of explanation. I cannot comment any further...

Ok, so we read last week Heather Mills, bought the one' fishy restaurant' wanting to turn it into a Vegan restaurant. Collio, ( not for the employee's tho she should keep them on) Now according to digital Spy she is signing a $5 mill. deal with Burger King - backing a meatless-veggie burger?

I applaud Heathers efforts. However, I can't see why she would sign to such a deal when she is a avid Vegan? Burger King, is just that- mostly burgers. kinda defeating the purpose. I'm really not getting this one..humm we shall see. I wonder if this would include television spots featuring the non-meat burger? If the campaigning was just right they could make it work-I suppose.

I have been so caught up and busy on my other blog ranting about The Grammys..Talkin about Macca's up coming Coachella gig. Trying to get tix for Paul at The Hard Rock Cafe in Vegas and working daily as we all do....Moneys tight ..dunno if I will be doing Coachella?

Like most nights I watch Countdown with Keith Olbermann. Tonight's Countdown was almost heartless as Gov. Sarah Palin gives one Turkey a pardon -'that is the good news'.

the host of Countdown tonight- breaks off to the begining of the interview (what the viewers didn't see) Palin is seen giving her Pre-Turley pardon interview, while a turkey is being mutilated behind her! WTF!!!!

Ohhh, this was totally vile, as Palin continues to smile for the camera and bark without batting an eyelash while they are killing a turkey live during her interview!

You can see the turkey being put into a vat head down, while the vat is shaking or something? there is blood all over the mans pants as he is killing the turkey.
Thank God, the volume was muted. What a heartless, shameless, Bitch, Sarah Palin is.

Lot's of Americans eat turkey every Thanksgiving, now this just might change your mind.

I just read this online via The Times.co.uk Macca is quoted from Stool Pigeon mag excerpt below.
