Double Absorbency retro pads!

I added some more retro style pads in my Punky's Pads Etsy shop! There are 3 new regulars and 3 "regulars" but with double absorbency! They're good for those of you who like a heavier pad, but without the length!

Retro Theme Week & Breast Cancer Charity Pads

As most of you probably have noticed, I love vintage and retro style patterns! Particularly the 50's! So this week I am making some retro style pads for my pad theme week! Currently in my Punky's Pads Etsy shop there are 2 heavy and 2 regular retro style flannel pads available!

I also got some new breast cancer ribbon fabric and made some regular pads that are available in the BreastCancer/CharityPads section of my Etsy shop. Remember, the FULL purchase price of any pads that are bought in this section will be donated to my Aunt Karen's Team "SOB" Save Our Boobies for the Susan G. Komen 3 Day Walk for the Cure!

More Springtime Pads

This is what it looks like outside my window next to the computer! It's been snowing nonstop since yesterday! So you can tell why I've been making "Springtime" pads and am calling this the Spring Theme week :)

Theme Week!

I thought it would be fun to do a "Theme Week" and list pads throughout the week that relate to my theme! This week is going to be "Spring Is In the Air" only because I'm surrounded in snow and really, really looking forward to spring! It snowed over the weekend and there's more coming! So, since I'm in a spring mood, I'm making pads out of fabric that remind me of spring. First up is pads from Michael Miller's line of "Travelin' Campers"!

Valentine's Day pads

I added some new Everyday Liners in fun Valentine's Day style prints! There is one set that is red and pale pink flannel and there's a Betty Boop liner with wings. You can find them in the Punky's Pads Etsy Shop!

Looking for donations

As I mentioned before, my Aunt Karen is participating in the Susan G. Komen 3 Day Walk for the Cure for breast cancer. This is her second year and just like last year, she is having a benefit fundraiser party and they have a silent auction. She asked me to make a quilt for the auction and of course I told her yes! I am thinking on doing an apple core quilt.

I think it would look great to make it out of a bunch of different pink print fabrics. I have a lot of pink fabric, but not enough to make an entire quilt. I plan on buying a few yards of various pink fabrics, but I'll also have to buy the batting, backing material and binding. I know I will need a lot of the pink fabric to make a decent sized quilt and my money will only go so far.

SO, if any of you have any cotton (not flannel) in pink prints and would like to donate them so I can sew them into a quilt, I will be forever grateful! For the size cores I am planning on making, I need the fabric pieces to be at least 8x7 or 8x8 or larger. Even if you only have a few pieces, I will take it! You can probably even fit them in a regular sized envelope and put 1 or 2 stamps on it.

I need to have the quilt done by April, I will have an exact date soon. So the sooner I get the pink fabric pieces, the better :)

So go through your fabric stash and see if you have any pink cotton fabric that you no longer need or use and send it to:
