What’s genuine about these rivalries is that their origins, and motivations, are either clear or nonexistent (Who remembers why Marvel fought Capcom?). Mortal Kombat vs. DC begs some leeway from us. The nature of both universes is so drastically different that upon hearing of this release, many of us lapsed into a rant. Does Kryptonite even exist in the MK universe, and who, besides villains, would perform fatalities in the DC universe? The good news is that this game does not suck. The bad news is that it doesn’t rise above its novelty status as the game where we get to see Batman fight Subzero.

Keep smithing and mining till you reach the level 20 at each. When you don't have any more food left go back to Karamja through the same hidden door and catch some lobsters. Cut a tree, make a fire and cook your lobster you caught on it. It will give you unlimited life and strength to live in the lava chambers underneath the crandor/karamha islands. It is beneficial and good way to level up against specific creeps, as well as you can get alot of similar stuff from a particular creep e.g get Rune mediums from the lesser demons.

When you are playing in the tutorial mode; at survival guide lady, you need to talk to her and "after bait & fishing net" she will give you an axe and during that tutorial cut down the oak trees that require level Fifteen wood cutting instead of ordinary trees. Its pretty cool, not rather much.

Real-time strategy games have been trying to succeed in the console world for several generations, but they have never been able to fully transition smoothly from PC monitors to televisions because of their overly complex control methods. Tom Clancy’s EndWar hopes to finally blast through this barrier by trying something different: voice commands. While this has been done in gaming before, can EndWar use them successfully enough to legitimize the console RTS genre?

EndWar focuses on World War III, a battle between US, Europe, and Russia. After several training missions, you are asked to pick a faction before being brought to a world map that shows you what group controls which areas of the planet. The goal of WWIII is to either acquire a certain percentage of land for your faction or to capture and hold all three of the capitol cities that are scattered around the planet. You gain control of these through RTS battles, which are played out in five different gametypes including Conquest, where each team is vying to capture bases that are spread out all over the map, and Assault, which requires you to wipe out every last member of the opposing force.

In addition to the Prelude and WWIII campaigns, the game also includes a multiplayer component called Theater of War, which is a persistent online conflict that has each win or loss you rack up counting towards your faction’s tally--similarly to how they do in the offline campaigns. After choosing a side, you are told their standing and asked to capture land for your group, which gives a sense of importance to every online battle you fight. It would be great to see more games adapt this type of multiplayer structure.

The combat in all modes of EndWar is centered around the basics of Rock-Paper-Scissors: certain units always beat other units, and you have to keep this in mind when sending your soldiers into battle. You are given a certain amount of unit slots to create soldiers, tanks, transports, or helicopters at the beginning of every match -- with each unit having their own strengths and weaknesses. For example, the infantry units are slow and weak but can capture bases that let you launch air strikes, while the helicopters are fast moving yet easily downed by transport vehicles. The action is fast-paced and the gameplay forces you to be thinking constantly while making split-second tactical choices that can radically change the outcome of a fight. Needless to say, the combat is exciting.

his is especially true when taking advantage of EndWar’s unique voice control mechanic, which is a first in console real time strategy. Using your headset of choice, you are able to shout-out commands to your virtual army as simply as you would to someone sitting next to you. You can do everything from sending your units after an enemy to organizing your squads, and can even switch the camera’s position by telling it where to go.

Though some minor comprehension mistakes are occasionally made, voice command is easily the recommendable method of control as the recognition software is strong and able to pick up whatever you are saying regardless of what you sound like or how quickly you say it. For those without headsets, the standard controller also performs nicely for managing and ordering your units into battle, and especially works well in conjunction with the vocal options.

Yes, in Onechanbara -- a game where a girl in a bikini and cowboy hat kills zombies with a katana -- one of the very first things you see is main character Aya naked in the shower. Your reaction to that alone will largely determine your reception of the game as a whole; either “That is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard,” or “AWESOME!” Onechanbara is what it is, and it makes no pretenses otherwise. It’s a trashy, base, and violent beat-em-up without glitz or polish, but also a surprisingly nuanced action game for those able to look past its numerous faults.

As you might expect given the game’s focus on bikinis and katanas, the story is either campy or downright stupid depending on your tastes. An evil shadow organization has designs on unlocking the secret of Aya and her sister Saki’s ‘baneful blood,’ a genetic trait that causes them to go berserk when covered with gore splatter from their enemies. Like any good evil organization, they set about doing this in the least logical way. For some reason they unleash zombies in the city, and dispatch a quartet of guys in sunglasses and suits to beat up the poor sisters.

Luckily, all the cutscenes, dialogue, and text are instantly skippable, allowing players to get right to bloody combat. Hacking zombies to bits in Onechanbara is sublime fun, the likes of which you get from mowing down hordes of monsters in Diablo or Chinese peasants by the thousands in Dynasty Warriors. The pleasures are simple, light, and guilty as blood cakes on the screen, limbs fly, and breasts jiggle. On the game’s lower difficulties the action is absolutely mindless -- but sometimes mindless hits the spot.

That’s not to say the game doesn’t offer more complex fighting mechanics and harder difficulty for the players that want it. God help me for saying it, but Onechanbara’s combat system is just as complex and skill based as beat-em-up greats Devil May Cry or Ninja Gaiden. As Aya shreds zombies, her sword will gradually accumulate blood and gore which slow her attacks and reduce damage. Only by slinging all the blood off the sword can Aya continue chopping with maximum efficiency.

In addition, by pressing the attack button each time an attack connects in a combo, Aya can perform “Cool Combos” which deal more damage and charge up the “ecstasy meter,” which is used to perform super moves. The player also performs -- and I did not make up this name -- “Chaotic Luster Maelstrom” attacks, which require even more precise timing and coordination. However, as Aya slaughters more zombies in any given combo, the sword gets bloodier, and the timing of these specialty attacks change even in mid-combo. This gives combat in the game that razor-sharp skill requirement beat-em-up buffs will love.

But here’s the really confusing thing: the game never tells you that you can do any of these things. There are no tutorials, no in-game hints (save tips about monsters that aren’t really helpful), and nothing of interest in the game’s four page manual. In fact, without the 83 page (!!!) online guide, most players would never even know such mechanics were in the game apart from accidentally doing them. The game does have a practice mode with a timing window that indicates certain things will happen when you push the attack button, but doesn’t ever say what they are or how they work. It’s absolutely perplexing why publisher D3 couldn’t be bothered to put some of these mechanics in the game’s manual, or at least a link to the online guide.

The game is also rough around the edges. Animations for the characters are stiff and jerky (aside from the ever-undulating breasts, of course). The camera can also become a real headache in enclosed spaces, as it has trouble rotating through walls. Camera work is annoying in boss fights too, as it will zoom in to Aya’s back to avoid getting pushed outside of a wall. This can lead to player disorientation, missed dodges, and eating a fantastically long combo.

From an objective standpoint, there isn’t a lot of content to the game either. There are three characters to play with, twenty levels that re-use around five areas, a handful of bosses, and various unlockable clothing. Gamers that enjoy a good brawler will enjoy the fighting mechanics enough to play through several times on harder difficulties, but other gamers will probably balk at the sheer lack of stuff in the game.

There’s a laundry list of small problems one could present to prove that this isn’t a good game by modern metrics, but despite all of the minor annoyances, it’s just fun to play (once the player learns the game’s mechanics, at any rate). In terms of polish and content, Onechanbara can’t compete with the greats of the genre like DMC or Ninja Gaiden. In terms of raw gameplay, it absolutely can and does. Whether being 20 dollars cheaper, loads of camp, and constantly jiggling boobs can bridge that gap is up to the player. Fans of the genre will absolutely get their money’s worth, provided they read the online guide, but other players will not be as forgiving with the game’s faults or unapologetic trashiness.

It is a fun and fluid flight model. Your speed is controlled by the triggers, you can yaw with the bumpers and your flight path is controlled by the left analog stick. Although there is a novice control option, it is better to stay with the default control scheme of the game because it is easy to use and gives you better control over your fighter plane. For the veterans who really enjoy flying games, there is a $150 package that includes flight sticks and it will give you the feel of being in a cockpit.

You can choose from an array of aircrafts like F-22 Raptor and Tornado. However, the number of aircrafts is less than the previous Ace Combat games. When choosing an aircraft, you have to take into account whether you are planning an air-to-ground attack or air-to-air, whether you need speed over firepower and whether you selected aircraft supports the special weapon.

The missions in Ace Combat 6 are very exciting and this is not the impression you will get in the first 5 or 6 missions. However, the difficulty level gradually rises and in the later stages of the game, your biggest fear would be crashing.

Ace Combat 6 is a great flight combat game with fantastic visuals and incredible gameplay. Whether you are an Ace Combat veteran or a newbie, you definitely will not get disappointed with this game.

The visuals of the game are clean and the soundtrack is okay. As the leader of your mercenary group, you watch the conflicts progress on a 2d world map and you take on jobs from kingdoms or people.

It is the jobs from the kingdoms that advance the main plot and the voice story scenes is made up of 2d art stills and dialogue boxes. The jobs from people are just side jobs or quests that you do to get money, equipment or recruit new characters.

Spectral Force 3 starts off with just two member party and you have to build your mercenary army as the game progresses. You can recruit as many as 150 characters who can all be used in the battle. The weapons can be upgraded to the next level by the blacksmith and you can talk to the characters in your group while at you or they are at the main base. Sometimes, talking to characters can lead to new quests.

Once you choose a quest, you enter a battle. Attacks are based off an AP bar that recharges each turn. When you are attacking, you can choose a mix between weak, medium, strong and special attacks. The weak, medium and strong attacks cost different AP and when the character runs out of AP, they wait until the next turn.

The game, Spectral Force 3, also has a combo situation where characters in your group can act out of turn to create combos, various skills and powerful rage attacks. Although the entire game is good, it is a bit slow and uninteresting. Maps in the game are boring and focus on enemies with large numbers and HP. The battles are repetitive and can take a while to finish.

Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding character. Note: To unlock all characters easier, set the difficulty to the easiest with one round.

Akuma (Gouki): After unlocking all characters except for Akuma, Gouken, and Seth, play Arcade mode with Ryu. Get at least two "Perfects" and two "Ultra Finishes" to fight Akuma after defeating Seth. Defeat Akuma to unlock him.

Cammy: Successfully complete Arcade mode with Crimson Viper.

Dan: Successfully complete Arcade mode with Sakura.

Fei Long: Successfully complete Arcade mode with Abel.

Gen: Successfully complete Arcade mode with Chun-Li.

Gouken: Successfully complete Arcade mode with Akuma (Gouki). Then, play Arcade mode with Ryu, and get at least two "Perfects" and three "Ultra Finishes" to fight Gouken after defeating Seth. Defeat Gouken to unlock him.

Rose: Successfully complete Arcade mode with M. Bison.

Sakura: Successfully complete Arcade mode with Ryu.

Seth: Successfully complete Arcade mode with all starting characters.

Unlocking characters easily

Start a game in Arcade mode, and set it to the easiest difficulty and one round. With any character, press [Hard Kick] repeatedly. You should defeat the CPU every time. After you have defeated all CPU opponents with every character, all characters except for Akuma and Gouken will be unlocked. To get "Perfects" and "Ultra Finishes" easier to unlock Akuma and Gouken, if a round is not going as desired, press Start on a second controller.

Challenge unlockables

Successfully complete the indicated challenge with any character to unlock the corresponding bonus. Challenges must be completed in order to get the bonus. Note: Once a color is unlocked, it can be used by any character.
