ArtbySerena focuses on the lives and work of artists of the past, and loves to share their stories and their work.

Jennifer Mulcahy lives in the Berkshire mountains of Massachusetts. Her photography is inspired by texture, shape and emotion.

We look forward to seeing more of William Holt's fine etchings, linocuts, monotypes, Japanese woodblock prints, and silkscreens.

Midnightpainting is an oil painter living in eastern North Carolina. She enjoys working with smaller sized paintings and has a goal of creating a new painting almost every day.

Now showing at the Port Angeles Fine Art Center in Port Angeles WA through May 13:

"Home is Where the HeArt Is"

This is the latest in the yearly series, Strait Art, which refers to the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the body of water that connects the Pacific Ocean to the inland waters of the Puget Sound. A group of artists were chosen from Clallam and Jefferson counties to participate in this exhibition.
Two of my pieces were accepted into this show. On the left, "Message From Mamaki" is a monotype print with collage on black paper. The image is 4.25 in. x 5.5 in.
Below is "Dream Vision", it is a monotype with chine collé on black paper. The image is 6 in. x 8 in. This piece is $210. matted and framed with glass.

It was at dusk when I headed down a dusty road along on the east side of town, where a number of horses were grazing. I especially liked the evening light and this curious colt. Medium: Acrylic.
