I want to offer unique simple stlyes but find myself stumped as to what to make next.

So the other day I was out and about w/ my momma, doing some shopping, and I found these great faux Gerbera Daisy flowers and decided that they were coming home w/ me and I was going to make them into hair pretties.

My cousin Beka is getting married this summer and is allowing me the honor of making her wedding cake.She is also having me decorate it w/ these lovely flower, which just so happen to be my favorite, but the ones on the cake will be real. So as I begin to prepare for her cake, I will pay homage to the gorgeous Gerbera Daisy and all its brilliant hues.

So here are my new pretties:

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_6TXZT9aVOOU/SCpRfX8t1tI/AAAAAAAAAFk/md8SlgBdebg/s200/IMG_1182.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5200058319199131346" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_6TXZT9aVOOU/SCpRfn8t1uI/AAAAAAAAAFs/FuBhJtWcqRo/s200/IMG_1178.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5200058323494098658" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_6TXZT9aVOOU/SCpRfn8t1vI/AAAAAAAAAF0/2n97apgQXL8/s200/IMG_1164.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5200058323494098674" />Mosaicrorohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08193202347049325526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4682884016765338771.post-52447318895745565152008-05-07T21:05:00.000-07:002008-05-07T21:08:26.252-07:00HI, My name is Rachael...and I am an addict......to Flickr

Holy cow...someone, ANYONE, I need an intervention.Mosaicrorohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08193202347049325526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4682884016765338771.post-69161230760948066852008-04-26T11:58:00.001-07:002008-04-26T12:02:12.925-07:00New ItemsNew stuff....trying to make new things...fun things...things that sell...things that you don't think you would ever own, but then see it and say YES...i want that!
here is my newest lil item

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_6TXZT9aVOOU/SBN7hxhBgFI/AAAAAAAAAFU/IznXqo53eOY/s320/IMG_0319.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5193630615446061138" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_6TXZT9aVOOU/SBN7nhhBgGI/AAAAAAAAAFc/RXqbTiuZpWs/s320/IMG_0309.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5193630714230308962" />Mosaicrorohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08193202347049325526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4682884016765338771.post-72081709587733805592008-04-24T09:10:00.001-07:002008-04-24T09:29:45.288-07:00When time stood still.....On our journey home, from Em's wedding in PA, we stopped in Harpers Ferry, WV.This town is not only rich in our countries history, but also my hubbys. He camped here as a child w/ his family and has many fond memeories of the place. This lil town also holds a bit of history for me as well. 10 yrs. ago, almost to the day, I met my hubby Gil. We took a small trip to Harpers Ferry in his 1969 VW Baja. We pulled of to the side of the road to snap some pics and took this one.... <img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_6TXZT9aVOOU/SBCxexhBgEI/AAAAAAAAAFM/7yEWC0c-Yr8/s320/IMG_0120.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5192845512604221506" />
I was 22, he was 29...we were skinny then too. Fast forward 10 years. We live in Florida now, own a business,have family type cars, and have three amazing kids together. Here is our dear crew now....same spot. (about 10 feet off mark but oh well) Add 10 years and about 30 lbs. I hope it does not take us another 10 yrs. to get back to this dear town.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_6TXZT9aVOOU/SBCxVhhBgDI/AAAAAAAAAFE/JeekWFoP_3w/s320/IMG_0059.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5192845353690431538" />Mosaicrorohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08193202347049325526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4682884016765338771.post-92042974404824555912008-04-23T14:46:00.000-07:002008-04-23T15:11:08.664-07:00Brides, Take Downs, and Long DrivesApril 2008....good times
First, my dear cousin, Emily, got married! Babies all grown up...:D The wedding was amazing! It was the fairy tale she dreamed of. Myself, Gil , and Nora were in the wedding party along w/ many other wonderful loved ones and some new friends as well. More pics to come, as I get them. This one is from my mother. Hope this helps you save a few $$$.

This is what Oxi clean is...
did you know that?
3% [Hydrogen] peroxide

"I would like to tell you of the benefits of that plain little old bottle of 3% peroxide you can get for under $1.00 at any drug store. My husband has been in the medical field for over 36 years, and most doctors don't tell you about peroxide, or they would lose thousands of dollars."

1. Take one capful (the little white cap that comes with the bottle) and hold in your mouth for 10 minutes daily, then spit it out. (I do it when I bathe)

No more canker sores and your teeth will be whiter without expensive pastes. Use it instead of mouthwash. (Small print says mouth wash and gargle right on the bottle)

2. Let your toothbrushes soak in a cup of "Peroxide" to keep them free of germs.

3. Clean your counters, table tops with peroxide to kill germs and leave a fresh smell. Simply put a little on your dishrag when you wipe, or spray it on the counters.

4. After rinsing off your wooden cutting board, pour peroxide on it to kill salmonella and other bacteria.

5. I had fungus on my feet for years - until I sprayed a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water on them (especially the toes) every night and let dry.

6. Soak any infections or cuts in 3% peroxide for five to ten minutes several times a day. My husband has seen gangrene that would not heal with any medicine, but was healed by soaking in peroxide.

7. Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water and keep it in every bathroom to disinfect without harming your septic system like bleach or most other disinfectants will.

8. Tilt your head back and spray into nostrils with your 50/50 mixture whenever you have a cold, or plugged sinuses. It will bubble and help to kill the bacteria. Hold for a few minutes then blow your nose into a tissue.

9. If you have a terrible toothache and cannot get to a dentist right away, put a capful of 3% peroxide into your mouth and hold it for ten minutes several times a day. The pain will lessen greatly.

10. And of course, if you like a natural look to your hair, spray the 50/50 solution on your wet hair after a shower and comb it through. You will not have the peroxide burnt blonde hair like the hair dye packages, but more natural highlights if your hair is a light brown, reddish, or dirty blonde. It also lightens gradually s o it's not a drastic change.

11. Put half a bottle of peroxide in your bath to help rid boils, fungus, or other skin infections.

12. You can also add a cup of peroxide instead of bleach to a load of whites in your laundry to whiten them. If there is blood on clothing, pour directly on the soiled spot. Let it sit for a minute, then rub it and rinse with cold water. Repeat if necessary.

13. I use peroxide to clean my mirrors with, and there is no smearing which is why I love it so much for this.

I could go on and on. It is a little brown bottle no home should be without! With prices of most necessities rising, I'm glad there's a way to save tons of money in such a simple, healthy manner.

Send on to others who might want to know the benefits of 3% peroxide.Mosaicrorohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08193202347049325526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4682884016765338771.post-8455653027074939262008-03-18T06:23:00.000-07:002008-03-18T06:31:37.308-07:00YAWN......Wow, I am so tired today. We all got up very early today so that we could take Gil to the airport. {Gil is my hubby for those that do not know that}
He is flying up tp PA, catching a ride to my nanas farm to pick up a car left there by my parents, and then drive it back down here to FL in a marathon trip...again. I hate these trips, b/c he gets so tired. Say a small prayer for his safety.
I LOVE HIM!
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_6TXZT9aVOOU/R9_DdX0sysI/AAAAAAAAADc/1_jxsS_jWpY/s320/IMG_7069.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5179073005878037186" />Mosaicrorohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08193202347049325526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4682884016765338771.post-12333224509116212122008-03-15T06:44:00.000-07:002008-03-15T06:57:41.108-07:00So , I am an artist again...The other day, while out running errands, I found myself, once again, in the canvas and paints section of Michael's. I drool there often, dreaming of when it will be a good time for me to do my art again. I have very little time to myself, as most of you know, but I dream of being able to paint again or even to just sketch again.

This certain day, I took that leap. I bought MYSELF, brand new watercolor paints and some lovely watercolor paper. *^_^*

It, unfortunately, sat on my dining room table for over two weeks before I remembered I had it, but yesterday, I did it. I opened them. I filled my jar w/ warm water, sqeezed out some glorious reds and blues and yellows onto my small palate. The brush felt so good in my hands, like I had never put it down. I swirled the water into a dancing tornado over and over watching the reds and blues mingle together.

I think at some point even heard Chopin in my head. Well, almost.
Here is what I painted... along w/ a few others that are for my eyes only.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_6TXZT9aVOOU/R9vVMH0synI/AAAAAAAAAC4/c8Z77gi7CDw/s200/IMG_9048.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5177966600827751026" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_6TXZT9aVOOU/R9vVuH0syoI/AAAAAAAAADA/OXuFyy8-Lbo/s200/IMG_9047.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5177967184943303298" />Mosaicrorohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08193202347049325526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4682884016765338771.post-23874821441897590252008-03-11T10:08:00.001-07:002008-03-11T14:52:01.320-07:00Etsy BFF<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_6TXZT9aVOOU/R9bSH30symI/AAAAAAAAACw/Vl6TmSjM79M/s200/Retro%27s.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5176555854394870370" />
Here is my Etsy BFF's shop! Retro80s!
We chat daily, offer advice, trade items as well as knowledge,and promote each other in the forums and in the Treasury. I got Nora all situated in her high chair, I sat Julles on the floor w/ her toys around her, turned on Dora, got the donuts and banana ready for Nora, and went to stir my coffee. I returned and sat in my big comfty {an Oliver word} chair to sip on my coffee and as I was about to take my first bite of a hot, bacon, turkey, and cheese flat bread, WHEN...I heard a noise no mother wants to hear when they JUST sat down to eat HOT food! {for once}

This is all happening in slow motion mind you...

I looked over in the direction of Julles, her back to me, and I heard a rumble from down under like you have never heard before, not even the biggest trucker after an all you can eat taco night at Larry's Diner has made this noise! Did you know baby poop, when the baby is in the seated postion, shoots out the back of their diaper like Mt. Fuji? Yeah, niether did I, and this is my third child.

Biggest mess of my life!

Needless to say....my food was cold...again.Mosaicrorohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08193202347049325526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4682884016765338771.post-15812229528091259462008-03-05T11:49:00.000-08:002008-03-06T13:18:49.231-08:00Here I am.....<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_6TXZT9aVOOU/R9BfsdZ0saI/AAAAAAAAABw/4oaiZJpsYmQ/s200/IMG_8950.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5174741189260521890" />
My Art
My Loves
My Life....

Mosaicroro.....

Mosaic {all the lil pieces that make up who I am}
roro {nickname given to me by my dear cousins!}

I am a busy lady but have so much to share!
