Meaning we won't have to borrow a piece of Blogger's domain any longer -- we hauled off and got our own.

So, starting now, please visit us at http://TheNudeLife.com, where we've set up housekeeping already and have mostly unpacked from the move. All of the articles, photos, links, and even the comments from this 'starter blog' are there already, done up in WordPress with as many bells and whistles as we should need for quite a while.

We would like some help on choosing a new header photo graphic, tho. We just slapped in a quick snapshot of a blue sky taken out by our pool one day, but we'd really like to find something nicer and more "nudist." So if you have any suggestions -- or could even provide a nice image we can use -- please send it along. Images that are 900 pixels by 180 pixels will work best. E-mail us at Editor@TheNudeLife.com. THANKS!

So, thanks for stopping by here at our starter site. I asked the question I ask of nearly all new nudist friends, inquiring of them how they came to the nudist experience -- and in their case, how they were lucky enough to discover it in early adulthood.

She responded that it was her husband's idea to try it, and that he was very "gung-ho" to visit a nude beach. After much persuasion, she agreed to go along with him on a visit to Hippie Hollow, the famous "nude beach" on Austin's Lake Travis.

Resolute that she would "never" take her clothes off, she went with her husband to placate his wish, and they soon found themselves at the famous "radio rock" at Hippie Hollow, a spot along the rocky shore where everyday people congregated, nude, to enjoy the beautiful scenery, weather, and the joy of simple nudism. No creepy perverts, no sex maniacs, no weirdos anywhere in sight, she remarked.

After a short while, she looked around and began to feel fairly self-conscious, dressed as she still was in a bikini. "OK," she sighed, "I'll take off my top." And she did -- then she noticed that no one really cared, stared, or made any notice of her state of dress or undress. Shortly after that, feeling the freedom and acceptance that nudism imparts to all who try it, she dispensed with the remaining scraps of textile that separated her from pure freedom, and, as she says, she "was hooked in a minute." She was the last one on the beach that day to put her clothes back on.

As she says now, "It was just no big deal." Nobody cared, one way or the other, what, if anything, she wore. Nude was better, she quickly discovered, and much more comfortable.
But the complete acceptance of her, clothed or nude, by the other visitors to Radio Rock at Hippie Hollow that day showed her how simple, how liberating, and how natural nudism is.

Now as confirmed, practicing, enthusiastic nudists, she and her husband have a whole lifetime of nude pleasure awaiting them. So many others will go their whole lives without discovering what they have found; for others, the revelation of nudism comes later or even too late in life to be fully enjoyed.

Like I have told many people over the years, nudism is like skydiving, SCUBA diving or learning to fly a plane: if you have ever thought about doing it, you should give it a try. One try will convince you one way or the other if it's something you love and want to pursue, or if it's not for you. But it is much better to try it and find out, than look back upon a lifetime wondering if perhaps you have missed something marvelous.

Full Time Nudistshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621661532478255737noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-467103268640822396.post-25941322272496744092007-09-24T10:56:00.000-05:002007-09-24T13:37:17.834-05:00Convenience factor
The meteorological muse was good to those of us in North Texas again this past weekend, and we were able to enjoy the whole weekend with our nudist friends. A pool party under the warm sun on Saturday let us luxuriate once again free of the clammy bathing costumes that feel so unnatural now on the rare instances when we are compelled to wear them.

That happened Friday night when we stayed the night at a hotel with an outdoor hot tub and pool. After dinner with two friends, we made our way to the hot tub and hit the switch for the bubbles to start the warm water circulating. Noticing that our hotel had very few guests in-house for the night, and that the hot tub and pool area was out of plain view of nearly everything else around, we quickly dispensed with our bathing suits and enjoyed the half-hour in the hot tub together nude as we all preferred. There was an audible "Ahhhh!" as each of us shimmied out of our swimsuit and felt the warm water tickling our bodies all over.

We struggled and groaned when the time came to wriggle back into the bathing suits for the short walk indoors to the hotel room. What a bother -- and so totally unnecessary! Nudism is not only much, much more comfortable, but also much more convenient!

At the pool party on Saturday, things felt much more 'normal:' glorious warmth and relaxation free from the clammy constraints of soggy, chilly and clingy bathing suits we had to use (albeit briefly) the night before. And since there is no wet bathing suit to try to towel off after leaving the pool, beach towels stay much drier than when you have to soak up all the water absorbed by the superfluous textiles of a bathing suit.

So to the long list of great reasons to try nudism, add this: convenience! And just a whole lot less to worry about and fuss over when enjoying a fun day outdoors.

Full Time Nudistshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621661532478255737noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-467103268640822396.post-23202133733795653182007-09-18T23:31:00.000-05:002007-09-18T23:48:50.331-05:00We're baaaack!Yes, I know it's been a while (OK, it's been nearly two months!) since the last post, but the life of a full-time nudist in Texas is a busy one this time of year! We have literally been too busy being nude to post updates lately!

Since the last post, we have hosted two nude pool parties for our nudist friends at our house, attended as guests at a half-dozen more nudist pool parties at the homes of other friends, and spent a week in Cancun with 20+ of our nudist friends.

Summer finally came to North Texas and we wasted no time catching up on our nude sunbathing, nude recreation and fun with our nudist friends. Summer is all too brief as it is already, and this year's soggy, cloudy and rainy summer in Texas put a real crimp on our summer fun.

We tried to make up for it with nudist activities nearly every weekend since mid-July. Both of the skinnydipping parties we hosted were a lot of fun -- the first one was enjoyed by nearly 70 of our nudist friends on a glorious 100-degree day; the second one, last weekend, was also a lot of fun albeit a bit smaller, with a cozy 30 attendees.

Alas, we have just a few more weeks to enjoy naked outdoor fun in North Texas before the cooler weather drives us inside for the fall and winter. But we will keep the fun going through the cooler months as well, since our local club is never at a loss for an excuse to get naked -- indoors or out -- and have some nice nudist fun any time of year.

Nude recreation is indeed the reason summer was invented. Nothing in this world compares to the luxurious freedom of skinnydipping on a warm summer day, with friends who enjoy your love of the simple pleasure of sun and water upon the skin as much as you do, and who accept you as you are in your natural state. I am convinced that anyone who tries it will like it -- love it, more likely -- and that our circle of nudist friends will continue to grow.

Full Time Nudistshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621661532478255737noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-467103268640822396.post-25876428244897518492007-07-25T23:05:00.001-05:002007-07-25T23:15:53.609-05:00Less is more
Can wearing less -- less clothes, that is -- add more to one's life?

That is certainly the case with our experience, and with that of many of our closest nudist friends. As nudists, of course, we wind up wearing the literal minimum of clothing as often as possible -- meaning we enjoy life nude whenever practical and possible. But does becoming a nudist, or practicing the nudist lifestyle, really add more to one's life? And if so, why?

We and many of our nudist friends would argue strongly in the affirmative. In fact, nearly everyone we've met through nudism has remarked at one time or another that they never would have met and made friends with so many wonderful people as they have through social nudism.

We agree. The bonds that being nude socially with others brings is something special, something which we can not find a parallel for in any other social setting. People from very different backgrounds, professions, levels of income and education are brought together through nudism and the liberating, equalizing effect that being unclad with others brings.

When we mention to non-nudist friends that we spent the weekend at a party with 70 or so good friends, they blink in disbelief. Yet, it's true: all of our close friends, and nearly everyone we consider good friends, are folks we met through nudism -- and it is a number far greater than the friends we had before becoming nudists.

So yes, less is more when it comes to friendships and meeting a wide range of great, easy-going people -- less clothes, that is!

Full Time Nudistshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621661532478255737noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-467103268640822396.post-27738123876063436832007-07-24T23:09:00.000-05:002007-07-24T23:28:55.961-05:00Nude on the road
The blog was neglected last week as we were on vacation out of town -- our lone non-nudist vacation planned for this year. As such, we were obliged to spend the bulk of our time clothed.

However, each day began and ended nude in our hotel room, where we could enjoy the freedom and serenity that nudity offers to all people. A nude nap in the afternoon, a nude e-mail session on the computer, or enjoying a cup of coffee while reading the newspaper while still nude from the night's rest are all possible and perfectly pleasant while on the road.

Tonight finds me on the road again, in another hotel room, and nude of course after a long day of work. Nudity and solitude, even when away from home, make even business travel a little more tolerable. I wonder how many thousands or millions of other 'road warriors' like myself enjoy some naked time of their own in the hotels and motels of the world.

I find that quite often, the evenings spent in an ordinary hotel room nude can nearly make up for the drudgery and the countless humiliations that comprise business travel these days.

There's nothing quite as refreshing when on the road as returning to the room after a day's work, luxuriating in a long hot shower to wash away the day's tensions, and then spend the night relaxing nude with a little wine as bedtime approaches.

All of which makes the thought of returning to the full freedom of peaceful nudity in the comfort of home all the more appealing. Yet were it not for the nights of comfort and relaxation possible on the road by being able to enjoy them clothes-free in the hotel while on the road, travel would be much more miserable than it already is.

Full Time Nudistshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621661532478255737noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-467103268640822396.post-75481682320266496772007-07-12T21:01:00.000-05:002007-07-12T21:10:18.459-05:00Instant friends
Two of our good nudist friends moved to the US after several years living overseas. Knowing no one in our Dallas/Ft. Worth area, but as active nudists in their former country of residence, they knew they'd be welcome and meet a lot of fun people as soon as they could find and get involved with a local nudist club.

They got in touch with our club very soon after settling in, and started participating immediately. Being easy-going, fun-loving folks as most nudists are, they had no trouble at all meeting and making friends with everyone else in our club. Just a month later, one of them remarked that they knew that after moving to Dallas, they'd have to find a nudist club to join, because it meant "instant friends."

It is so easy to make good friends from nudists you meet. The converse is not true: it is very difficult to make nudists from existing non-nudist friends. One of our members puts it very well when she says, "It's easier to make friends out of nudists than nudists out of friends."

We never had so many friends as we have met from nudism. When I tell folks at work that we had 60 or 70 friends over at our house for a pool party, the blink in disbelief. I doubt any of them has more than a handful of people they would consider friends; even fewer if work-related acquaintances are excluded. Nudism brings people together like no other pastime or lifestyle I know of. That alone makes it a wonderful way of life, because what is life without the love of friends?

Full Time Nudistshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621661532478255737noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-467103268640822396.post-23109285771542606732007-07-12T01:00:00.000-05:002007-07-11T15:28:54.756-05:00Simple nudity
We find that one of the greatest attractions the nudist way of living affords is also its most obvious: the simple state of being nude. "Simple nudity," as it were.
Besides a perfect description of the state of unclothedness itself, "Simple Nudity" is also a term at law, as it is mentioned frequently in legislation meant to ban sexually oriented forms of nudity while making a distinction, and usually an exception, for the nudist approach to the state of being nude.

Simple nudity for nudists is the natural state. Being unclad, whenever and wherever appropriate, affords the freedom and comfort that make simple nudity one of life's most sublime pleasures. Enjoying everyday life in the state of simple nudity, without shame or pretension, is what social nudism is all about. Best of all, every person on Earth is equally well-adapted to give it a try. And we have found that in the proper setting, and in the company of other lovers of this wonderful way of enjoying life, nearly everyone who tries it, loves it.

Full Time Nudistshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621661532478255737noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-467103268640822396.post-39548460432538515312007-07-11T01:00:00.000-05:002007-07-10T14:46:33.053-05:00Where have all the good nudist chat rooms gone?
Years ago, before anyone knew what the Internet was, we online nudists had to scrounge to find each other and learn more about this wonderful lifestyle.

CompuServe was where we found it most reliably -- back in the early 1990s. They had an active Nudist discussion board and a weekly live chat. Both were crude, text-only systems, of course, but at the time it was the best thing going. Dial in at 1200 Baud, at $8.95 per hour, and you can have all the nudist chat room you want!

Although it was slow, clunky and expensive, it was all there was at the time. And for those of us just learning about the world of social nudism, the chat nights were great. You'd be able to exchange questions and answers with 'real' nudists, including several regulars who lived full-time at Paradise Lakes, which at the time was the nation's largest and nicest resort.

The information and tips from those chats are what got us to try nudism, and take our first nudist vacation to Club Orient in St. Martin, back in 1993. Now, it seems that the nudist chat room scene has suffered from the decline of the commons, with just about every one I've tried really a front for a sex chat, a porn operation, or worse. If there is a good nudist chat out there, I'd like to know about it (and post a link to it on this blog).

Which is a shame because I wonder how the next generation of nudists will be able to connect, discuss and learn from other 'real' nudists, which was all possible before the 'Internet revolution.'

Full Time Nudistshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621661532478255737noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-467103268640822396.post-23765818239253233812007-07-10T10:06:00.000-05:002007-07-10T10:28:28.939-05:00Single female nudists
Although single male nudists decry the apparent low numbers of single female nudists, we haven't found that to be the case in our local club. By carefully maintaining some simple standards that make sense for a social club like ours, we have been able to retain and attract a healthy mix of both single males and single females as a complement to the majority of our members who are couples. Currently, for example, our roster includes four single females and six single males, and 75 couples.

What kind of simple standards? Easy: singles (of either gender) are not admitted without the recommendation of an existing member. That simple policy statement allows us to decline the huge number of inquiries we get from single males who find us on the Internet. If not for that policy, we'd have a huge and disproportionate number of single males in our club, which would not be desireable for the majority of our members who are married couples. The single females who do inquire about our club are usually already practicing nudists or know one of our other members, found out about our club through those channels, and can then be recommended for membership by one of them.

We've heard first-hand of other local clubs that fell apart because the male-to-female ratio went too far in the male direction because they had either an "admit-all" policy or no well-conceived policy at all on the question of how to maintain a good social mix of membership.

For single males who complain that we are 'discriminating' against them, we plead guilty; then we remind them that our club is a voluntary social group that sets policies as it sees fit to keep the club fun and active for our members, and if they aren't happy about that, then they are free to go out and start their own nudist club like our founders did 20+ years ago, and they can set up any kind of policies they like.

By the way, we also discriminate against pedophiles, sex offenders, underage minors, members who don't pay our annual dues, members who don't follow our club's etiquette rules, people who don't want to take their clothes off at our events, and so on. Discrimination, after all, is what makes any club what it is: a group of like-minded folks who wish to associate to share a common interest.

Full Time Nudistshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621661532478255737noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-467103268640822396.post-63815455695320362562007-07-09T10:01:00.000-05:002007-07-09T10:14:00.225-05:00Finally, a fine nude weekend
The long string of horrible, rainy, cloudy weather here in North Texas broke clear for this weekend, giving all of us pale nudists a glorious couple of days to get back out into the sunshine.

Saturday was wonderful. As mentioned earlier, we visited a local resort to celebrate the wedding of two nudist friends. The weather for their special day could not have been better, and the warm sun brought out a big crowd of friends to help them celebrate late into the night. Everyone was delighted to be back outside, soaking up the warmth of the Texas sunshine, and relaxing with our nudist friends once again as we should be doing all through the hot Texas summer.

It turns out that the bride is a relative newcomer to social nudism, having just discovered it less than three years ago. Needless to say, she loves it, and found a sweetheart who also loves the pleasure, friendship and freedom that nudism brings to everyone who tries it. They love it so much that they wanted to spend their wedding day with all of us, nude and enjoying the beauty of Nature in all its forms.

We are lucky to know such fine people, who share our love for this simple pleasure, and who aren't afraid to enjoy life in the nude, unashamed and free of the hang-ups and pretensions society tries to burden us with.

We nudists have found something special. Saturday's nude wedding day celebration is just another example of what a great life-changer it can be when people discover all the delights that social nudism brings.

After the wedding, Sunday was another fine day and there was no reason to get dressed all day, save for a short run on errands in the early afternoon. Aside from those 90 clothed minutes, we were able to return to the typical weekend mode here of sunning, swimming, relaxing outdoors and indoors, without the bother of clothing to disrupt the pleasure of a beautiful day.

Two days of perfect weather, spent in the nude and with friends and loved ones, is like two weeks of vacation for the clothed set. Now let's just hope the sun stays with us for the balance of the summer so this wonderful feeling can continue -- and we can keep our tans in shape!

Full Time Nudistshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621661532478255737noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-467103268640822396.post-82445216165346185152007-07-05T18:58:00.000-05:002007-07-06T08:40:05.231-05:00Nudist wedding dayTwo friends from our local club are getting married on Saturday (as many people are on that special day), and like most of the rest of them, our friends will be having their marriage ceremony while fully clad.

Unlike most of the rest of those newlyweds this weekend, our friends plan to spend the rest of their first day of wedded bliss in the nude, celebrating with all of us at a local nudist resort. The groom will probably be wearing his bow tie and cuffs like the lucky guy in the photo -- but hopefully nothing too much more formal! Besides, they don't want to get a lot of tan lines to spoil their wedding day!

What a wonderful thing it is that these two people have fallen in love, and have also found a way of life and a close group of friends that they feel such a bonding with, that they want to spend their only wedding day with all of us, as the perfect way to celebrate a perfect day. If not for trying social nudism, finding our local club, and meeting all the wonderful, fun people they have met through nudism, this couple would have almost no one to share their wedding day with.

We wish them love, happiness, many blissful years together, wearing as little as possible whenever possible, as that is their wish as well.

Full Time Nudistshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621661532478255737noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-467103268640822396.post-38736963315183229622007-07-05T11:51:00.000-05:002007-07-05T12:02:27.796-05:00Fading fast
The extremely wet and rainy weather we've been having here in Dallas since the end of May has really put a damper on the sunning and frolicking of the area's nudist population, ourselves included. Rather than relaxing in the usually blazing June and July sunshine of North Texas every weekend, as well as most days and early evenings during the week, we've been relative shut-ins, with a scarce few fine weekend days so far all season.

That's taking a toll on our usually well-developed all-over tans -- as well as our usual extraordinary abundance of life-saving Vitamin D, produced automatically by our bodkins when flesh is exposed to the Sun's rays. Although thanks to a well-balanced diet and a daily multivitamin, most US residents don't have to worry about getting their RDA of Vitamin D, we still bemoan the drought of sun we've had here lately which provides us the very most pleasant and natural way to obtain all the Vitamin D we can use.

The forecast still calls for gloom and more rain through the weekend, so there's literally no end in sight to this weather pattern which has stalled a giant low-pressure system over Texas for most of the past month. With no seasonal steering winds present to blow this low out of here, we're wondering when we'll ever see the sun again -- and be able to get back to our health regimen of Vitamin D production through nude sunbathing.

Full Time Nudistshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621661532478255737noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-467103268640822396.post-22251484109739519612007-07-04T08:59:00.000-05:002007-07-04T10:15:02.741-05:00Clothing Independence Day
Happy Independence Day!

Today is the day our local club usually celebrates the American July 4th holiday with a pool party, which we dub the "Clothing Independence Day Party," offering our members a few hours of freedom from textiles, a release from the tyranny of tan lines, and other such frilly language as a way to justify another excuse to get naked and enjoy life with friends on a hot summer's day.

Because of the mid-week date of July 4th this year, we don't have a full-blown party planned, but there is an informal "sun and loaf" invitation from one of our members to relax by her pool and soak up some rays, without all the usual party attributes of a big catered meal and so on. But with the dismal rainy weather we've had in the Dallas area for the last six weeks, even that might not happen as it seems the clouds and rain will be with us again today.

However, the term "Clothing Independence" is worth contemplating for a moment, on this day or any other, as it affords a chance to think of the freedom that nudism brings to nearly everyone who tries it: freedom from pretentiousness, freedom from hang-ups over class and status, freedom from bad self-esteem, freedom from judging people because of immutable attributes such as age, size or shape.

Those are the freedoms we have found in social nudism, along with many more benefits large and small, and we wish the same to all our fellow nudists and those many millions who will follow us into the wonderful, liberating lifestyle.

Full Time Nudistshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621661532478255737noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-467103268640822396.post-74989615174043471872007-07-03T14:40:00.001-05:002007-07-05T12:11:21.680-05:00There's full-time, and then there's FULL-TIMEWe call ourselves full-time nudists. But there's full-time, and then there's full-time. Right now, we are in the former category.
Meaning that we spend as much time as possible nude at home, with our nudist friends at weekend parties with our local club, asleep (of course!), and on as many vacations as we can manage to nudist resorts, nude cruises, and the like. Yet, we can't live fully nude as we both still have jobs (for just another year), and have a circle of friends who aren't nudists and don't know that we are, and we don't live in a nudist resort.

All of those things will be changing by this time next year (2008) if things go to plan. We aim to sell the house, quit our jobs, move to a nudist resort in Central Florida, and really become full-time nudists. Along the way, we'll go ahead and spill the beans to our non-nudist friends -- giving them either a lot to think about, a good laugh, or a totally astonished reaction -- or maybe all three.

So this year is really our last living in the fully "textile world" of non-nudists, as we aim to join the ranks of the true full-time nudist world next year. We'll be in good company, since we have already met so many great, friendly, interesting people along the way in our first 13 years or so of practicing social nudism.

We look forward to downsizing in a major way. We'll get rid of about 95% of the clothes we own, of course, but also about 95% of the things we have spent 30 years accumulating in the way of furniture, gadgets, books, and an endless collection of knick-knacks, junk and the other effluvia of a typical American.

As we ease into it, both of us are excited. We're 'practicing' as much as can be done by wearing nothing as much as possible when at home, and of course taking full advantage of the busy summer pool party schedule with our local club. If retirement as full-time nudists is only as much fun as we are having now being full-time home and social nudists while still working full-time and living in a textile community, we can't wait to make the big move to "Full-Time Full-Time!"

Full Time Nudistshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621661532478255737noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-467103268640822396.post-11071409993319727452007-07-02T20:43:00.001-05:002007-07-03T08:39:33.679-05:00Beats working for a livingWe certainly picked a great time to be alive.

One of us works from home full-time (telecommuting) and the other is able to do a good deal of work from home as well when on call or after-hours, so naturally, we enjoy working nude whenever possible.

This delightful arrangement began shortly in August, 2001 when one of us made the move to a home office arrangement. That was still fairly cutting-edge at the time, but with a good DSL line at home, and no staff to oversee in the business office we had been driving 10 miles to each day, it wasn't that hard a sell for us to convince The Man that we could pull it off.

The productivity boost was immediate, as was the comfort level. Nudity during work hours quickly became the norm for the rest of that summer, and through the winter months it was discovered that wearing slippers alone can aid in keeping an otherwise nude body comfortably warm during the day, without needing to run the furnace up to 76 degrees. So we were saving money on both laundry and heating bills in the winter, air conditioning bills in the summer, and feeling more relaxed and comfortable all day, every day.

A simple habit was instituted of keeping a pair of shorts by the bannister to throw on if the UPS man or postman rang the bell, but most days were spent in peaceful nudity while hard at work (such as it is!) doing our regular job via telephone, computer and Internet. Little did any of our many colleagues know of any of this, of course!

Summer, as you can imagine, is the very most pleasant time to be a "home-bound" telecommuning nudist worker, especially for us with a beautiful swimming pool just out our back door, plenty of Western sun beaming down on the patio and pool all afternoon, and complete privacy in the whole area.

That gave us the incredible amenity of being able to take a quick "swim break" during the morning or afternoon, or relax by the pool and work on our tans while listening in on one of those seemingly endless conference calls.

Just the freedom of being able to step out of the shower in the morning, knowing that aside from a moment or two of clothedness to fetch the newspaper from the front walk first thing in the morning, we didn't have to or need to put on a stitch of clothing all day or night. No office job could ever compare to THAT as a perk!

Six years-plus into the nude home office routine now, and it only gets better. Our frame of mind is so much better than ever before when we worked in an office, and we hardly mind sitting and staring at a computer or working through the day's problems while we're nude. It almost seems like we should be giving back some of our salary in exchange for this wonderful, pleasant, natural and simple way of life.

Full Time Nudistshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621661532478255737noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-467103268640822396.post-66105130559480913152007-07-02T19:41:00.000-05:002007-07-03T08:36:18.896-05:00Street cred
This isn't our first big rodeo.

Before deciding to start our own blog, we had some fairly good results acting as an "unpaid reporter" for another nudist blog earlier this year, when we filed a series of reports from the 10-day nude cruise on the Holland America Maasdam. Those reports are ours, along with all the photos filed with them, and the series of posts got a lot of visibility on the nudist Internet at the time -- in fact, Bare Necessities still has a link to those posts on their main Web page.

After seeing the kind of readership those postings got on someone else's blog, it got us to thinking about the apparent vacuum in blogs written by and about real nudists, doing the kinds of things real nudists do. That led to finally deciding to start up this blog, since we think we have plenty of nudist experiences to share, and lots more to come in the future.

Indeed, we plan to spend the better part of the rest of our lives nude, living at a nudist resort when we retire next year and traveling part of the year to visit nudist resorts around the country, attend the AANR conventions, and so on. In effect, the rest of our lives will be spent as nude as we can, in as many places as we can, and doing as many new things as we can within the nudist lifestyle.

Besides, we like to write, and we like to spread the fun and relaxation of social nudism to as many nice folks as we can. Maybe this little blog, just one among many millions, can help with that -- and let us share our love of this wonderful lifestyle with friends we haven't even met yet!

Full Time Nudistshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621661532478255737noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-467103268640822396.post-42067112829253679302007-07-02T18:54:00.000-05:002007-07-03T14:26:59.120-05:00Why We're Blogging
It seems like 99% of the "nudist" blogs on the Internet are really trolling pages for swingers, single males and perverts who somehow think that using the word 'nudist' will attract the kind of people they want to connect with.

Well, we're nudists, and none of that type of stuff is what nudism is about. So we thought there ought to be at least ONE blog on the Internet written by and about real nudists, who just enjoy the nudist lifestyle and all the wonderful benefits it offers.

About us: we have been active nudists for about 14 years. We are active in a large local nudist travel club called the Sunbirds, in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas region. We're members of AANR, the nation's largest and oldest nudist association.

We have been on 10 of the nude cruises sponsored by Bare Necessities Tour and Travel, as well as three "Buff Diving" nude SCUBA diving trips with the Buff Divers group (now defunct). All of that is in addition to more than 50 other vacations, trips and shorter getaways to local, national and international nudist destinations in the mainland US, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Hawaii.

At home, we're nude nearly all the time during the warm summer months here in Dallas, and spend nearly every weekend nude outside by our pool or partying with our friends in the Sunbirds. We really enjoy the great fun and the wonderful friends we meet as nudists, and we really can't imagine going back to a clothing-compulsive life.

Soon, we will be retiring and moving to a nudist resort in Florida to live for part of the year, as well as buying a big 5th Wheel RV and touring the country during the summer, seeing as much of the US (and as many of the country's nudist resorts and nude beaches!) as possible.

So that's a little about us. More to come soon, since summer is a busy time for nudists in Dallas and we have a lot to report on!

Stay real,

Full Time Nudists

Full Time Nudistshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621661532478255737noreply@blogger.com2
