Canadian Women's Foundation Donor Book

This book was created in 2007 for Canadian Women's Foundation's girls funds donor book. It was created for the inaugural ceremony for the funds. The book was signed by Sophie, Countess of Wessex of England at the event.

I was very pround to have created this book.

Exquisite Leather Bound Singing Bird Automaton

I just finished this exquisite piece. It's a beautiful leather bound singing bird automaton. The mechanism is brand new German made. Once the mechanism is wound up from the bottom, with a pull of the tassel, the little bird inside the box pops out and reallistically chirps, moves its beaks, wings, tail and body.....The leather work is done by me with the finest French chagrin goatskin leather and pieces of leather mosaic onlays to create the peacock feather design. The piece is tooled in 22k gold. The box and its key are housed in a velvet lined silk bound box. Don Quixote in Tamazight

The newest work for a notary in Spain....Don Quixote in Tamazight.....Tamazight is spoken by an African tribe.....This was the first time that Don Quixote was translated into the language. Don Quixote has been translated into almost all the languages in the world. The author continues to show his passion for and dedication to Don Quixote literature!....Salute to Manuel of Spain! The design was inspired by the hieroglyphic composition. It's lively creative and the design came to me spontaneously......It was a joyful moment when I conceived the design and to see it realized is even more fulfilling....... miniature musical automaton with dancing doll and pendulum clock

So here are two images of my new works- one is miniature dancing doll with swiss musical movement and another one is a miniature pendulum clock..both are all up for grab with info /prices on my website under product page....both bound in leather.......I have been on automata kick lately... My next miniature automaton project......It will be the most exquisite miniature mechanical singing bird box bound in leather with gilding, onlay design etc...The mechanical tiny bird flaps its wings, move its beak and tail and turns and chirp realistically....It's an incredible wind up mechanism made in Germany......I will make a beautiful leather bound box for it (size is smaller than the palm of your hand)....So watch out for that!
