Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt all make up the male Top 5 most downloaded movie star in terms of mobile content. Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta and Aishwarya all feature in the Top 5 of the female category.

Vishwanath Alluri, CEO and founder, IMImobile said "India has the fastest-growing mobile population in the world and is projected to reach 400 million by 2010. Mobile music downloads top the bill and are currently valued at Rs 160-180 crore in the domestic market. The music content market is mainly driven by the passion for Bollywood & Tollywood; we see a spike in downloads around the big movie releases of the year."

Mobile Music, ring tones and downloads are particularly popular with the youth. The IMImobile study into their own content downloads shows that when it comes to downloading mobile graphics (from WAP sites), Priyanka Chopra is the most popular. More images of Priyanka are downloaded than of her co-star Shah Rukh Khan. Kishore Kumar has silkiest voice as is downloaded more than any other Bollywood actor or actress for voice recordings of answer phone messages and other voice prompts.

The trends vary from state to state. Delhi, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh Punjab and Maharashtra are amongst the top in terms of content downloads.

Prabhakar Shukla is one of the most famous Bollywood directors and he always tries to impress everyone with his movies. He is planning a fabulous drama about the tragic incident of rape and murder of a 15 year old British tourist, Scarlett Keeling. This is based on a real event that took place on a beach in Goa in February.

The movie director said that he would start filming for this movie from July in Goa and the movie will be called "Rave Party". Katrina Kaif was proposed for the role of Scarlett and the movie will be connected to the so-called "hippie paradise" in Goa that became a shelter for drug peddlers and addicts.

The movie will reveal some problems that are not unique to India and it will make a new impression about drug abuse and the exploitation of tourists. But before he starts shooting this movie he will need to go to London to discuss with Keeling's mother. She said she doesn't want a movie that will put Scarlett in a negative light and would like it to be focused more on her daughter's killers and the latience of the police.

She said to The Times that she would like to hear more about the movie and how her daugther will be portraited or she won't approve it. She doesn't like the title either, because for Scarlett it was not a rave party, she was raped and murdered on the beach in a brutal crime. Her case was one of the most awful of a series of recent sexual assaults on foreign women tourists and now the female visitors that come to India are really concerned of their safety. Scarlett's case is still unsolved, but we've got a lot of chances to see Rave Party with Katrina Kaif at the end of this year.

Close on the heels of Amitabh Bachchan losing his luggage in an air trip, pretty actress Katrina Kaif also had her luggage misplaced in one of her flights.
Apparently Katrina lost goods around Rs 72 lakhs. This happened while Katrina was traveling with the crew of Singh Is Kinng. The luggage contained over 80 outfits designed by Rocky S, which were being used for shooting in Sydney.

The airline authorities and officials at the airport searched in vain, but could not locate Kats’s missing bag. The actress now suspects it was stolen. Hugely upset, director Anees Bazmi said, “We were in a terrible situation and were left with no other choice but to recreate the costumes all over again.” Apparently the bag had around 85 costumes.

The actress and the designer immediately set about making good the loss by recreating the entire wardrobe again with the help of footage from Sydney. Said a saddened Katrina,” “I was shocked at the loss… I loved the outfits and was afraid I might not get the same look again. I gave Rocky several inputs about the outfits and I’m glad he could create them again so quickly.”

The façade of friendship and amiable relations between Shah Rukh and Salman slipped at Katrina Kaif’s birthday party on July 16 and what came out in the open was hidden hostilities and unhealthy rivalry between the two super stars.

Eyewitnesses reveal that the verbal duel between the duo got so heated up that they almost became physical and on the verge of punching each other.

Salman had thrown a lavish birthday party for girlfriend Katrina at Olive Bar and Kitchen, Bandra, in which all the bigwigs of filmdom were invited. According to a newspaper, "Salman was already high when SRK and Gauri walked in. After downing a few more drinks, Sallu started picking on SRK." Shah Rukh had reportedly turned down Salman’s request to do a guest appearance in Main Aur Mrs Khanna, which is being produced by Salman and Sohail.

This did not go well with Salman, who had gone out of his way to do favours for King Khan. Sallu had made a special appearance in SRK’s home production ‘Om Shanti Om’ and also appeared on KBC with girlfriend Katrina.

Salman was miffed by SRK’s attitude and chose to express his resentment at the wrong time. The two Khans were sitting close, surrounded by a few close friends, when Salman started passing sarcastic remarks at SRK. Initially, SRK tried to laugh it off but when the remarks became too abusive, he began trading insult for insult.

Salman adversely commented at SRK’s show Paanchvi Paas, calling it a big flop. The star added that SRK is trying to sabotage his show – Dus ka Dum. “You are a matlabi insaan. You only call people when you need them, and then don't keep in touch,” Sallu added.

SRK reacted strongly saying that no one wants to watch Salman’s show. At this, Salman asked him to keep quiet or he would beat him up.

This made King Khan very aggressive and he said that he would beat Salman in his party, in front of his friends. The two glared at each other and things would have turned ugly had Shahrukh’s wife Gauri Khan not intervened. She expressed her wish to leave immediately. SRK allowed his wife to take his arm and they left the party. Salman didn’t even try to stop his guests.

SRK-Sallu rivalry dates back to the time, when SRK was shooting for Chalte Chalte (2003), with Aishwarya. At that time, Salman was dating Aishwarya Rai. The duo had a fight when Salman disrupted the shooting to meet Ash and this made SRK replace Ash with Rani Mukerjee. The two were not on talking terms for long and patched up only at Farah Khan's sangeet ceremony in 2004.

The ugly face-off between the two super stars shows that things may look smooth in the forefront but things are not always smooth beneath the surface in big bad Bollywood!

The actor had thrown a big birthday bash for Katrina, and the who's who of tinsel town was invited -- including Shah Rukh Khan , Aamir Khan , Ranbir Kapoor , Deepika Padukone , as well as Katrina's mother and sister.

As the deejay turned up the volume for the title track of Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Salman proposed to Katrina on bended knee.

"She didn't know how to react with Salman's gesture," said a source, who was present in the party.

Salman seemed to want to fulfill the wishes of his contestants on Sony Entertainment Television's 10 Ka Dum as well, as many of them have suggested that he get married.

'I really respect their love for me but why is everyone concerned about a very individual choice? It is a personal choice,' Salman wrote on his blog, adding, 'There is a saying, 'Shaadi woh laddoo hai joh khaye woh bhi pachtaye jo naa khaye woh bhi pachtaye. And I don't like sweets, so it does not concern me.'

Salman Khan is now saved the trouble of going all the way to Ooty to celebrate ladylove Katrina Kaif’s birthday on July 16. The actress, till recently, has been shooting Rajkumar Santoshi ’s film Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani with Ranbir in the hilly town.Initially, Kat and Sallu had plans to usher in her birthday in Ooty. But now, thanks to the canceled schedule of the film, Kat is back in Mumbai.

Last year, Katrina had a party on her birthday, but this year she doesn’t seem to be in mood for a party. Firstly, she has just recovered from illness. Secondly, she thinks it’s a tad childish to throw parties on birthdays. However, her beau may throw a surprise bash.
