I feel so sad when I heard that Christina Applegate was diagnosed with breast cancer. I love watching her show Samantha Who? and even Andrea likes it too. Right darling? Yes mummy! Anyway, I was reading some magazines today while at work and I read an article about her that she underwent a double-mastectomy to treat her breast cancer. The courageous star declared she is now cancer-free and I am happy for her! Right decision.

I Am Getting Excited For Our Next Vacation

Since I just got a job, it will be easier for me and Noel to go for a vacation next year because we can both save money and share expense for our next planned trip. I Am Already Working...

Hello guys and girls, I know lately I was not dropping my EC and visited most of the blogs listed in my blogroll because I got a new job and I am already working as full time. This is my first working history and I am loving it but the thought of leaving my daughter behind to my mother in law is such a different story and it really makes me sad. While I was working yesterday, I can't stop myself missing her since that was the first day I won't be seeing her for the whole day.

I know deep in my heart she understand that mommy is working to support her. My hubby Noel is very happy for me too since I complain sometimes of being bored just at home. I got to go now guys and I won't promise but hopefully I can visit you all tonight.

The three of us - me, Andrea and Noel loves to go to amusement parks as a part of our weekend activity. It is very tiring yet the whole day is full of fun and laughter. I chatted with my old friend Katie last night ans she told me that she and the rest of her family are planning to go to New Jersey amusement parks because the last time they went there was a couple of months and that's their favorite place for fun. Hahha, that was long time ago when I was bar hopping with some friends and there is this very old guy who approaches me and I think he's around his 30's and I am still 20 that time. He was flirting with me and suddenly asked how old I am. I told him I was only 16 and he ran off. Lols!

Aaron Peirsol Grabs Gold And World Record

I was watching Beijing Olympics 2008 today and just want to give you guys some update in case you miss some of the actions that is happening in China. Aaron Peirsol of the United States came back from a lackluster semifinal swim to win the gold medal in the Men's 100m Backstroke final at the National Aquatics Center. He is the defending champion and world record holder and also qualified as the fifth fastest in 53.56 for the final. Aaron Peirsol surged ahead to win comfortably in 52.45 to beat the world record of 52.89 he set in July.

After qualifying second fastest for the final, Peirsol's USA teammate Matt Grevers finished with the silver medal in 53.11. Joining them is Russia's Arkady Vyatchanin for the bronze medal in 53.18.

Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony 2008

As I mentioned to my other blog - Cheeky-Pinay, I surely don't want to miss the opening ceremony of Beijing Olympics and luckily I did. All I can say is this -- FABULOUS!

Really breathtaking.

This is the best opening ceremony I have ever seen in my entire life. The fireworks are spectacular and even the presentation they did is truly beautiful. Hubby is joking at me because I haven't wink watching it because I really don't want to miss a thing. I keep on saying - Oh my gosh!, great and even my daughter who is 18 year old says - wow daddy!

Usually when I watch this kind of event, I am just interested at the beginning and flick it to the next channel but this time, I am so excited for the next number they will do. After the opening ceremony that featured thousands of drummers, floating Olympic rings and a glowing globe around which ran runners who seemed to defy gravity, I end up scratching my head and ask how in the world did they do that because I am truly impress. So I am giving credits to all who is behind this.

Bernie Mac Died At Age 50

I was so happy when I get up this morning because I was still overwhelmed by the success of Beijing Olympics 2008. I ran straight in our living area and turn on the TV. As usual, I do my favorite hobby which is "remote control surfing" and I stopped when ET announces that Bernie Mac died already at the age of 50 due to complications from pneumonia at a Chicago-area hospital. I was really sad with the news. He is one of my favorite comedy actor.

The comic actor got his start as a stand-up comedian in Chicago. I even watched some of his semi-autobiographical family-themed sitcom, "The Bernie Mac Show," which is about a husband and wife who raise their nieces and nephew. This was premiered on FOX in 2001 and had a successful five season run. The show garnered Mac two Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations. He also appeared on the big screen in such films as Friday, Ocean's Eleven series, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Bad Santa, Guess Who and Mr. 3000.

:=> As of the moment I am a stay home mum and look after for my 18 month old baby girl. I consider my blogging as a job because even if I am just at home, I earn pretty decent amount of money courtesy of PPP. Cheers to you PPP!

2. What to you do to unwind after work?
:+> I have no boss so I can unwind anytime I want. I just play with my daughter or take her out because she gets bored easily.

3. Who have you known the longest of your friends?
:=> I have a very good relationship with my best friends and in fact even if I am away from them, we still get to talk over yahoo messenger.

I'm Trying To Get Fit

After I give birth to my daughter Andrea, I am trying hard to loose some extra preggy fats so I can feel good about myself not only physically but in healthy issues as well. I love being fit so I can keep my self being healthy and can take care of my family even more. Every morning, I make an effort to really hop into my treadmill and just do some walking and running while my daughter is still in bed. I am trying to cut down some of my favorite carbs and being an Asian I love my rice and my food.

I always tell my husband that how I wish I can get back to my normal weight but I just keep doing it and hopefully I can see some results. One of my friends recommend some weight loss tampa. I am not sure about this one as I really wanna do it naturally. I am not in a hurry anyway but as long as I am trying to get fit, that's all that matters to me.

Christina Applegate Is Diagnosed With Breast Cancer

I was watching ET today and I was shock by their exclusive news that Christina Applegate is diagnosed with breast cancer.

This is the same reason why my late sister in law died at the very young age of 36 and has 2 boys. Until now I am still mourning and may her body and soul rest in peace. Going back, a representative for the actress tells ET the following statement.

"Christina Applegate was diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer. Benefiting from early detection through a doctor-ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening. Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery. No further statement will be issued at this time."

I wish this kind of disease doesn't happen or occur. This is very sad indeed because I like watching her show, Samantha Who but I hope she can beat this. I pray for her.
