That was a fairly light week, as that gets me at 25 miles :(. That means this week I need to put in some serious miles and effort. I did like my Sunday run though, i call it Chariots of Fire, as I ran 6 miles into a huge headwind that was at times maybe 30-40 mph, and then ran 1 mile up a really steep canyon, and the a half mile down a massive hill at sprint speed.

Noah Gifthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13144332122855013229noah.gift@gmail.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4602155516200528578.post-44662413911980603732009-01-09T19:38:00.002-05:002009-01-09T19:39:00.845-05:0013k FridaysRan a nice 13K with Adam Shand on Friday morning.
Feeling: quite a nice run, although I was struggling a tad from eating a banana while running...

Noah Gifthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13144332122855013229noah.gift@gmail.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4602155516200528578.post-3992052052982715542009-01-04T23:41:00.001-05:002009-01-04T23:42:23.681-05:0013k13k core run about 1:15 minutes.
feeling: the day was so beautiful it defied words. I am considering making a lot of core runs be around 13k, and then adding a longer 20K+ run each weekend, and an interval day. In addition, I am going to stick with daily sets of 30-50 pushups, with some pullups, and crunches mixed in. I do like Dean Karnazes formula quite a bit, which is a ratio of 4 pushups/20 crunches/1 pullups, in which in you splice them into manageable sets through the day, like 4 sets of 50 pushups. I can currently crank out 1 set of 50 pretty comfortably, but if I am doing four in a row, I would need to be at about 30-40 probably.

Noah Gifthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13144332122855013229noah.gift@gmail.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4602155516200528578.post-24731780916289398852008-12-22T03:20:00.000-05:002008-12-22T03:21:26.501-05:008kawesome 8k run in Miramar today.
