The new medical centre is now open at La Torre Golf Resort. The centre offers general medicine services and nursing, clinical analysis, physiotherapy, the sale of medical products and the arrangement of appointments in other medical centres.

New Island Properties

In response to the popularity of the island properties at Condado de Alhama new island properties have been released only 15 mins from the Mar Menor and Murcia Airport - an ideal location and a perfect setting.

These apartments will be on the Terrazas de La Torre resort which benefits from being so close to the other established Polaris World resorts.

In the middle of the central lake which covers over 60,000 m2, two islands have been created which will be known from now on as Las Islas de Las Terrazas de La Torre. Both islands have the same characteristics, are at the heart of the Resort and offer the same style properties as La Isla del Condado.

Each island has a path running around it which provides a pleasant walk for residents and leads them to the island’s swimming pool. These island pools are infinity pools only slightly raised above ground level and offering spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.

The two islands are next to the old Casón de los Saorines manor house which, once restored, will house the chill-out bar. What’s more, it is only a short and pleasant walk to the Town Centre with its administration area, technical and maintenance services, central offices and large shopping centre of over 13,000 m2.

The 486 properties planned for Las Islas will be distributed in 13 four-storey blocks, 5 on one island and 8 on the other. King's College Opens at Polaris World

A branch of British school King’s College has opened on Polaris World area for the new academic year.

This is the sixth of its kind in Spain and is located on the Polaris World La Torre Golf Resort, near Torre Pacheco.

The curriculum will be based on the British national curriculum but with an international slant. This modern centre with the latest facilities is already taking applications for places.

Initially King’s College in Torre Pacheco will provide schooling for two- to nine-year-olds although in the future it plans to take in pupils of up to 18 years of age studying for A-levels and Selectividad, the Spanish university entrance exam.

The curriculum in British schools in Spain is governed both by the UK education authorities and the Spanish Ministry of Education.

Polaris World aims to put new and alternative products on the market and it is continuing to move forward with exciting new projects and realities.

In keeping with this philosophy they are launching a new development in the town of San Pedro del Pinatar on the Costa Calida: “Polaris World San Pedro Centro”.

“Polaris World San Pedro Centro” is located in the town centre, only a stone’s throw from the high street (Emilio Castelar) and next to the main shopping and leisure areas. Both the beach and the Cartagena – Alicante motorway are easily accessible from the complex.

In this first phase they are launching 22 properties and 2 retail units.
