I agree, but I don't think it's just comfort that drives the masses to wear cloths that wouldn't seem out of place on a homeless child. I believe it has a lot to do with the obsession with youth. Everyone wants to stay as young as possible (perhaps forgetting how awkward being a teenager was) and as part of this, emulate teenage fashion... which more often than not lacks any sort of style.Perhaps
