There are great books out there on the subject ,The Circle of stones is spine chilling "what would your life had been like if..." if you felt supported and cared for, respected . I am feeling the pull and tug to dig into my ansestoral past and feel a sense of belonging to a tribe and including the women in my life who I care so deeply about.
