I remember waiting on "results" day, after her lumpectomy, for the call to come. It's so frustrating and scary and overwhelming to see your family dealing with stuff you can't fix. Good news though. My sis is cancer free. She says what helped her most was her faith and her family. I'll bet your mom will have a similar take on things.
