I think this is his magnum opus.Other people say "Purple Rain" but that's just becuz of the sales.On this album , he really went there.He got a helluva lot more funker [D.M.S.R], originated a funk/pop r&b sound as displayed by Hip-Hop artists such as OutKast [Something In The Water (Does Not Compute), All The Critics Love U In New York] & made a funk chant song, the title track.Must have.
