Built for the (87-88) Chevrolet Monte Carlo... The Superchips 2905 GM EPROM is a direct replacement for the stock EPROM. Remove the stock EPROM and replace it with the Superchips 2905.You will need to provide the computer code when ordering.The code should be three (3) letters and a number, examples: XLE5,NVK41. Always check under the hood for a reprogram sticker. If your vehicle's computer has been updated, there should be a sticker under the hood, usually on the flat plastic surface on top of the radiator. Dealers usually update your computer whenever an update has been issued from Ford, without your knowledge. The reprogram sticker should have a series of numbers and letters like: F81F-12A650-BG. We need these numbers to cross reference for your computer code. If your computer has been updated, the 4 digit code is most likely incorrect and the Superchip will not function properly. 2.
