Once they get addicted, they continuously endure the agony of spending in spite of imminent problems that tag behind.<br /><br />And when things eventually get out of hand, most people will soon realize that they are already stuck with a mountain load of credit card debts. And mornings after mornings, they will wake up each day with worries in their head about how they can repay all of those instant splurges.<br /><br />There’s one way to get out of credit card debts—consolidation. Here’s a list of ways how to do it:<br /><br />1. Make a balance transfer.<br /><br />One way of consolidating a credit card debt is through a balance transfer. In this way, the person who has a huge outstanding balance on his or her credit cards will get another credit card with a lower interest rate. Once approved, they should immediately get a cash advance and use it to pay off their standing balance on the other credit card. In that way, they consolidate all of their payables into one credit card. Plus, they get to have only one rate to worry.<br /><br />2. Home equity loans can do the job.<br /><br />This is a very workable strategy provided that it will be used properly.<br /><br />Getting a home equity loan is probably one of the easiest things to do. Best of all, home equity loans can offer tax deductions for the interest rate of the loan.<br /><br />However, there is a drawback. The debtor’s house will serve as the collateral. But nevertheless, it still one good way of consolidating credit card debts. The debtor should only keep in mind that the money from the loan should only be used in paying credit card debts. If used on other things, it will only worsen the problem.<br /><br />3. Make use of retirement funds.<br /><br />There are instances wherein debtors can make use of their retirement funds in order to consolidate credit card debts. But this should only be made if there are no other options available. This is because this type of consolidating credit card debts can be very tricky.<br /><br />Loans on retirement funds are not actually tax deductibles. However, the problem sets in when the fails to pay back the loan within five years or when he or she will resign from work.<br /><br />Indeed, there are no nippy fixes when consolidating credit card debts. The bottom line is that, it is better if the person will stay out of debt so as not to worry on consolidation matters.<br /><br /></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/455581307247250160-4462127383879416456?l=thebestcreditcardsonline.blogspot.com'/></div>Gauri Manikandannoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-455581307247250160.post-57450505910550983602007-10-22T18:56:00.000-07:002007-10-22T18:57:52.354-07:00Harassing Creditors - What Can You Do?<div align="justify">When the harassing creditor phone calls keep coming and the mail is full of past due debt bills, it may feel like you don't know where to turn or what can be done. Threats of lawsuits or seizure of your property (cars or home) can be frightening. When the creditors tell you to start paying NOW or you will lose everything, it may feel like an impossible task especially if you can't find a dime to send to them.<br /><br />There is help out there. Don't give up hope. The help for your mountain of debt may be easier to find than you think.<br /><br />If you have not tried it yet, begin with helping yourself. What can you do on your own to begin to fix your debt problems? Obviously you can't pay all that you owe on your debts, but you may be able to start sending in something...anything...even a few dollars a month to show your good faith promise to pay your debts back to the creditor. You may be surprised that when you reach out and contact a creditor and begin to pay what you can on a regular basis every month, they will see you are serious about paying your debts and they will begin to work with you.<br /><br />Sometimes creditors will lower your monthly minimum payment for a while until you get back on your feet. Some creditors will even offer to lower your balance and work very closely with you to help you get the debt paid off. You may even find some creditors that will settle the debt in full for a percentage of what you originally owed them.<br /><br />If you are too far gone with debt to deal with the creditors on your own, there are many companies that will work with you and be your liaison with those tough creditors. You may also want to consider a debt consolidation loan that will help you pay off all your debts with one loan and give you one simple monthly loan payment to pay each month. There are also credit counselors available to teach you budgeting and personal finance. Some credit counselors will work with the harassing creditors to get your interest percentage lowered or your monthly payment amounts lowered to a workable figure within your current income level.<br /><br />No matter what debt help method you choose, you have to recognize that you may have some habits that have put you in the debt-crazed state you are now in. Start by admitting you need to make some changes in the way you handle money. If you don't admit you need to make changes, then even if you dig yourself out of your debt hole, you will put yourself right back in the same place again in no time. You have to choose to be disciplined with your money. The peace of mind you will gain from no longer having the creditors harass you will make all the budgeting and discipline worth it. </div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/455581307247250160-5745050591055098360?l=thebestcreditcardsonline.blogspot.com'/></div>Gauri Manikandannoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-455581307247250160.post-41816078605208687532007-10-16T05:59:00.000-07:002007-10-16T06:01:00.085-07:00Why You Need a Copy of Your Credit Report!<div align="justify">Your credit report is an important document which may affect you more than you think. It is perfectly possible to see a copy of your credit report. But why would you want to read your credit report, and how do you find it?<br /><br />In the US there are 3 agencies which keep information on you and your credit. This information includes a whole range of details on many of the financial transactions that you make through your life. You may not be aware of it but much of your financial data is kept by credit agencies, and can seriously affect your life.<br /><br />Opening a bank account, considering letting a bill slide a little until it's overdue, going for a loan, buying a house? Any one of these transactions and many many more are all recorded on your credit report. Information is kept on where you live, how you manage most of your finances, much of your criminal history if you have one, your history of loan repayments and much more.<br /><br />And this information is not just kept there for the sake of it. This information is used to assess your credit worthiness so that when you go for a new loan, for example, the organization through which you are applying can access this information to help it decide whether or not it ought to grant you the loan.<br /><br />You are in fact, rated for your credit worthiness using this information collected on you, and a credit worthiness score is applied to you. This score is part of the information that an organization may wish to find out if they are judging your credit worthiness.<br /><br />Something as simple as missing a few bills because you were on holidays can quite seriously affect such things as your ability to obtain credit in the future.<br /><br />So as you can see the information kept in your credit report is important information and can affect your life in ways you may not be aware of.<br /><br />For this reason it is important to know what information is kept on your credit report. It is not unheard of, for example, for there to be inaccurate entries on your report and if you are unaware of this and therefore cannot correct it this inaccurate information may well cause you all sorts of unexpected problems.<br /><br />So, how do you get a copy of your credit report? Luckily you are entitled by law to get a free copy of your report each year. You will need to provide your name and address as well as your social security number and date of birth to identify yourself, as well as possible former addresses if you have moved recently.<br /><br />To get your credit report ring 1-877-322-8228 (toll free) and proceed as directed.<br /><br />So remember, you are entitled to a copy of your credit report free each year. Make use of your entitlement, check your report and see if there is anything there which could be causing you a problem. If there is then you can start finding out what to do about it. </div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/455581307247250160-4181607860520868753?l=thebestcreditcardsonline.blogspot.com'/></div>Gauri Manikandannoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-455581307247250160.post-41213114502361037242007-10-11T22:44:00.000-07:002007-10-11T22:45:26.032-07:00Strategies to Improve Your FICO Score<div align="justify">It used to be that "people" made decisions about your credit worthiness. You knew your banker and your handshake was all the collateral you needed. Those days are long gone, and now a single number - your FICO score - determines your credit worthiness.<br /><br />Although there are several credit models, the most commonly used is FICO, based on a model created by Fair, Isaac Company. Their consumer website is myfico.com, and you can find information about the FICO credit scores there.<br /><br />Your FICO credit score can be used to determine your interest rate and how much credit a lender will give you. So taking care of your score, and keeping your credit clean will save you money.<br /><br />Preserving your FICO score, and improving it, is not difficult, but it may take time. Here are some tips to maintain and improve your score, based on three credit situations.<br /><br />Strategy One: Obtain a Credit History<br /><br />There are many reasons you may have no credit history. Maybe you're just starting out, maybe you pay cash for everything and have never needed a loan. In any case, if you have no credit history, your FICO score is likely to be low.<br /><br />The easiest way to raise your score is acquire a loan, and pay it off on time. In general, installment loans are weighted more heavily than credit cards. In other words, you will improve your credit score faster if you buy goods with an installment loan, rather than acquiring a credit card.<br /><br />Another way to acquire a better credit history is to take $1000 and open a 6 month CD account at a financial institution. Now, get an installment loan for $1000, using that CD as collateral. Now, here's the trick. Take the $1000 loan, and open another 6 month CD account at another institution. Take another loan for the $1000 at the second institution. Do this one more time.<br /><br />Now what you have is 3 loans. Pay the minimum payment for 6 months. In the last month, cash out your CDs and pay the loans off. You now have a credit history, and did not go into long term debt to get it.<br /><br />Strategy Two: Maintain Your Good Credit History<br /><br />Good job - you have paid your bills on time, and do not have high credit card debt. Here's some ideas to keep your FICO score as high as possible.<br /><br />First, don't close your old accounts. One part of your credit score is based on the amount of credit available verses amount of credit used. Closing old accounts can lower this part of your score.<br /><br />Second, paying off your credit cards every month is good money management, but you may be able to improve in this area. Here's the scenario: you have a $2000 credit card. Every month, you charge about $1800 to that card. And, every month you pay it off. But here's what happens - your credit card company reports your credit information monthly to FICO. If they report it before you pay off your card, it looks like you carry a balance on your credit card every month. You may find your FICO score improves if you pay off your credit card at a different time of the month.<br /><br />Strategy Three: Repair Your Poor Credit History<br /><br />For whatever reason, if you have a poor credit history, there are things you can do to improve your score. Some of them take time, and you will probably be best served by talking to a credit counselor to be sure that you not only repair your credit history, but also eliminate what caused that poor credit history in the first place.<br /><br />The most heavily weighted part of your score is based on your payment history. The first thing to do to start repairing your credit history is to pay your bills on time. The mortgage is the most important, followed by installment loans, and finally credit cards.<br /><br />The next largest portion of your FICO score is based on how you use credit. The fastest way to improve this is to pay down your credit cards.<br /><br />One final thing to look for is errors in your credit report. Get a copy of your credit report from all three primary agencies, and look at all the entries. You can find the agencies here: experian.com, equifax.com, and transunion.com. If there are any errors, start the process to have them removed. Call your creditors - sometimes they will remove negative information.<br /><br />Your FICO score is an important part of your financial life, and using these strategies may help improve your FICO score. Before making any drastic changes to your finances, consult with a financial advisor.</div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/455581307247250160-4121311450236103724?l=thebestcreditcardsonline.blogspot.com'/></div>Gauri Manikandannoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-455581307247250160.post-70985286635721955162007-10-10T22:34:00.000-07:002007-10-10T22:35:55.658-07:00Could a Prepaid Visa or MasterCard be Right for You?<div align="justify">What is a prepaid credit card? As generally used in the English language, "prepaid" and "credit card" are a contradiction in terms. "Prepaid" means you have paid for something before taking receipt of it and will not be receiving a bill requesting payment later. Whereas, "credit card" means that you will be placing the purchase on credit and the lender (issuing bank) will supply the funds to the merchant. Then later when you receive your billing statement from them, you will be required to pay in full or in installments. Thus the commonly used term "prepaid credit card" could be considered an oxymoron. So, it is more accurate calling these cards a Prepaid Visa or MasterCard.<br /><br />A prepaid card is like a cross between a store gift card and a bank debit card. It is similar to a store gift card in that a certain amount of money has been loaded on it. It is like a bank debit card because it is accepted any place that a major credit card is honored, even online! Unlike a debit card, however, a prepaid card is not attached to a specific bank account.<br /><br />There are several good reasons to use a prepaid card. First, you will not go into debt for any purchases you make. Which as an added benefit means there will be no finance charges. Many people do not have or want a bank account and so consequently, they are unable to obtain a credit card. This type of card gives them the convenience of carrying plastic instead of cash. If you have no credit or bad credit, some of these cards can aid in building or repairing your credit rating because they report to the major credit bureaus. Other ones give rewards. If you are inclined to overspend, using one of these cards can help manage your expenditures because you set the spending limit with the money you decide to load on it. Generally though, there may be a minimum transfer of $25.00 to a certain maximum amount in whole dollars depending on the issuing bank's terms.<br /><br />Besides being an alternative way for you to purchase your own items, do not forget that they can make a great gift too! Some card issuers even will put a greeting message on the card for you, like "Happy Birthday" or "Merry Christmas" along with other sayings. How about giving one to your college student for the necessities he will buy when away from home? This way he will not be able to run up the balance on a regular credit card.<br /><br />Prepaid cards can be obtained at bank branches or through the Internet at the bank's web site. But before you decide to apply for one, there are some disadvantages to a prepaid card that you should understand. As mentioned previously, these cards do not generate finance charges. However, they probably will have some other types of fees associated with their use. The fees that may be applied to the card could be application, activation, annual membership, monthly service, ATM and over-the-limit fees. Examine the card's policy on liability protection for lost or stolen cards. Some offer zero liability. Others only provide protection if the transaction was for a signed receipt purchase and not a PIN transaction.<br /><br />Many, but not all (like those used as gift cards) allow reloading with money when the funds run low. There are different methods for transferring money to your card, such as, directly at your bank branch, an ATM machine or the issuer's web site. You can fund your card with cash; check, credit card, electronic funds transfer from a savings or checking account and even payroll.<br /><br />Before acquiring a prepaid Visa or MasterCard, be sure you are aware of all the conditions that apply to it. Each prepaid card comes with different terms, benefits and fees. So, carefully compare them. Your personal situation is unique to you. It is your responsibility to ascertain which card, if any, suits your needs. </div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/455581307247250160-7098528663572195516?l=thebestcreditcardsonline.blogspot.com'/></div>Gauri Manikandannoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-455581307247250160.post-16520509451579880462007-10-08T18:41:00.000-07:002007-10-08T18:42:31.216-07:00Credit Cards and Your Business<div align="justify">Any business will cringe at the thought of what the banks put them through to use credit cards. If you do not know what I mean, then this article is for you!<br /><br />The fact is that everyone online wants to use a credit card or debit card to process their order. It is very true in our society that the credit card is a way of life, and if you do not offer that ability to accommodate them, customers will move on to another website that does allow them to use their cards. This society has become driven by instant gratification and expects to receive their products immediately, either by a download or a short shipping duration. Taking credit cards as a form of payment on the internet or offline should be thoroughly understood. Read on to see what I mean and how to protect yourself.<br /><br />The fact is that any merchant taking in payments is immediately at risk for whatever amount is charged and MORE. The banks will take the charge disputed along with a "charge back" fee right from your merchant account, and you better have enough in there that has cleared to pay your own bills or you will be charged more for "overdraft charges". Some banks are waking up to the fact that it is not always the merchant at fault and most merchants are more than honest in their dealings. There is so much credit card fraud out there and since the merchants are ALWAYS liable, you need to realize this and take action to prevent as much disaster for your business as possible.<br /><br />First, if you have your own merchant account, then you have a lot of work to do when you receive a credit card order. You must verify as best you can that the card, the name on the card, the address, the cvv number verification, and the quantities are all in order. You need to verify the IP address of every order and see if it is within the location of the card holder. A person living in Toronto, Canada, probably would not be in Las Cruces, New Mexico, charging products. This is a red flag but not a deal breaker, some people DO travel. Caution needs to be taken to protect your cash flow. As a merchant you must get money safely into your account for any goods or service you provide, so that you can become a larger or more substantial independent business.<br /><br />Do not just take in cards and believe that everything is going to be just fine now that you have the money in your account, because it can come out just as fast, or faster, than it went in. There is a real need for you to understand a lot more than can be mentioned in this article.<br /><br />The best way to receive all the tools and services you need to protect yourself and to make your voice heard is to check this website: http://www.merchant911.org This is a group of dedicated individuals who have been working for years to try to change banking and processing company rules and regulations as relative to merchants, both large and small. If you need any more proof of their dedication, just read some of the press releases and look at the tools they have assembled for merchants to use.<br /><br />Right now is the time to start to protect yourself from credit card fraud. If you have read any of the newspapers or listened to any of the news reports, then you already know you are at risk. There are reports of over 40 million cards in the hands of criminals and thieves and they will sell these cards or will use them in various illegal methods. It's not hard to imagine that some day soon you will be approached and asked to spend your time and money to ship a product or provide a service with these fraudulent cards.<br /><br />Do your part to keep America strong and allow your business to grow and prosper, not be destroyed by thieves and credit card sharks. </div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/455581307247250160-1652050945157988046?l=thebestcreditcardsonline.blogspot.com'/></div>Gauri Manikandannoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-455581307247250160.post-17049415130842506962007-10-08T07:22:00.000-07:002007-10-08T07:23:28.979-07:007 Simple Ways to Increase Your Credit Card Limit<div align="justify">Many credit card holders aspire for a higher credit card limit. The obvious reason for this is that a higher credit card limit enables the purchase of otherwise unaffordable merchandise.<br /><br />First and foremost, credit card holders need to remember that to get a higher credit card limit, they must abide by the terms and conditions of the credit card company or bank.<br /><br />Below are 7 other ways to get a higher credit card limit.<br /><br />• The most important thing to do for getting a higher credit card limit is to prove your credit worthiness. This is the first thing that banks and companies look for when giving a higher credit limit.<br /><br />• Attract positive attention from the credit card company or bank by paying finance charges once in a while. Obviously, this is not advisable on a repeating basis and should only be used as a last resort to increase your chances of getting a higher credit limit.<br /><br />Proving to credit card companies and banks that you are good "borrower" can be a convincing way to get a higher credit limit. But be careful because this strategy also means that you will be paying finance charges which can accumulate in a hurry.<br /><br />And always remember, a higher credit card limit means greater purchasing power, but it also increases the risk of your having to pay greater interest charges and other processing and late fees.<br /><br />• Always spend within your credit card limit because doing so means that you are capable of controlling your expenses.<br /><br />• Use your credit cards regularly. Don’t keep your cards for emergency use only. If you use your credit cards sparingly, banks and credit card companies will be unable to understand your spending and pay-back behavior. Under these circumstances, most banks and credit card companies will be reluctant to give you a higher credit card limit.<br /><br />• Never make minimum payments. Instead, try to pay for the entire outstanding amount. This will usually give you a better chance of getting a higher credit card limit.<br /><br />• Avoid late payments as much as possible. Not only will your increase payment increase, but you may also have to pay an additional fine for not clearing bills on time. This will also dim your chances of getting a higher credit card limit.<br /><br />• The best and simplest strategy for getting a higher credit card limit is to use your credit card wisely. Always keep in mind that credit card companies keep a record of your transactions and payment patterns, so always pay on-time.<br /><br />The bottom line is that your performance in the records of banks and credit card companies will determine whether you’ll get a higher credit card limit or not. </div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/455581307247250160-1704941513084250696?l=thebestcreditcardsonline.blogspot.com'/></div>Gauri Manikandannoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-455581307247250160.post-82236765037053868452007-10-06T23:44:00.000-07:002007-10-06T23:46:25.987-07:00Tips to Protect Yourself from Credit Card Fraud<div align="justify">Credit card fraud is a serious problem and is a leading cause of identity theft. Here are some simple things to keep in mind:<br /><br />- Make sure you always know where your credit cards are located. Don't let them lie around, or lend them to other people. Also, be careful what you do with your credit card receipts, as they often contain your complete credit card number.<br /><br />- Open credit card statements promptly and check for any suspicious charges. If your issuer provides online account access, use that facility to regularly keep up to date on activities on your card.<br /><br />- Call to activate and sign your credit cards as soon as you receive them.<br /><br />- Keep a list of all your credit card numbers, expiration dates, customer service numbers and addresses. Keep this list in a secure place and keep it up to date.<br /><br />- Retail sales employees who handle card numbers cause a large percentage of credit card fraud. Be careful of who you hand your card to, and don't let it out of your sight if at all possible.<br /><br />- Never give your credit card information out over the phone, unless you initiated the call or are very certain whom you are talking to.<br /><br />- Be careful with your online purchases. Before entering any personal information on a website, verify that the website is secure. That means that outside parties will not be able to read the information you're sending.<br /><br />Credit card fraud is a major problem faced by online businesses and merchants. Nowadays, credit cards are almost indispensable in almost any business transaction. For one, nobody can purchase anything online without a credit card.<br /><br />People who have a poor credit history though, will have a hard time getting or renewing their credit cards. This is where prepaid credit becomes useful.<br /><br />There are lenders that offer prepaid MasterCards and/or prepaid Visa Cards. Both these cards can be used like a regular credit card. It is even hard to distinguish which card is prepaid or not, by simply looking at it or even using it.<br /><br />This is basically how prepaid credit cards work. When an account is opened, the card should be “pre-loaded” with cash up-front. This is like paying for a pre-paid calling card.<br />Prepaid MasterCards or Visas can be used anywhere as long as these cards are accepted.<br /><br />The prepaid credit card advantage:<br /><br />1. Prepaid credit card can be easily obtained. It can be purchased online or in local retail stores. It does not require any credit check or proof of income.<br /><br />The only thing to do is to fill out an application, pay a small fee for setting-up the account and load the card with cash. The amount of cash loaded will be the “credit limit”<br /><br />2. No interest charges.<br /><br />When a prepaid MasterCard or prepaid Visa is used, there is no interest charge unlike the regular credit card. The reason for this is that the money used is the owner’s actual money therefore no interest is needed.<br /><br />3. Prepaid credit cards are free from financial or credit problems.<br /><br />4. Prepaid cards can be used almost anywhere. Prepaid MasterCards and Visa cards are almost accepted anywhere in the world.<br /><br />Disadvantages of Prepaid Credit Cards:<br /><br />1. Usually a set-up fee of 5 to 50 dollars is needed when an account is opened. Then another fee of $5 or more is paid every time more money is loaded onto the card.<br /><br />Regular credit cards usually do not charge a set-up fee or annual fees.<br /><br />2. Cash up front is needed before any purchase could be made with the prepaid card.<br />This could be an advantage since compulsive spending can be avoided.<br /><br />3. There are some prepaid credit cards that cannot be used to pay regular payments such as monthly electric consumption or online services.<br /><br />The Conclusion:<br /><br />The prepaid credit card is a definite help for people who have past credit problems. It is just a matter of choosing the right prepaid credit card that suits ones’ needs.<br /></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/455581307247250160-5230413286298544957?l=thebestcreditcardsonline.blogspot.com'/></div>Gauri Manikandannoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-455581307247250160.post-70536949384506102222007-10-01T20:14:00.000-07:002007-10-01T20:24:45.458-07:00How to avoid credit card pitfalls?Seeing people buying food or shopping clothes using credit cards has been commonplace these days. The phrase "Charge it!" has become a favorite expression of card users, and has been commonly heard in shops, dining places, and elsewhere.<br /><br />After all, who does not want to use these credit cards? Easy to use, these sleekly-designed cards can be used to buy practically everything in commercial establishments regardless of how much (or less) money does one carry money in his wallet. Short of cash and hungry? No grocery supplies? Going to a party but no money to buy that dress you've been drooling for? No problem! Your good ol' credit can care of that for you. No worries.<br /><br />Credit Cards: Not Free Money<br /><br />But wait. A credit card spree may be fun, but that doesn't free you from responsibilities in paying the expenses you incurred from using your credit card. Credit cards, after all, are interest loans in disguise. Typical credit cards ask for a number of charges, including:<br /><br />" A finance charge, which is an interest charge for the unpaid portion of your monthly bill;<br /><br />" An annual membership fee;<br /><br />" Or if you're paying after the deadline, there is also a late payment fee which could have a higher interest rate.<br /><br />In fact, many credit-card holders face credit-related problems. Poor purchasing decisions, lack of information on credit card fees, and disregard for upcoming credit payments are among the reasons why many credit-card users are often hard-pressed in paying their debts. Some are not even able to pay for the actual purchases they made, just barely managing to pay credit card company charges.<br /><br />Before you get drowned in a sea of debt, here are some tips to help you manage your credit-related expenses:<br /><br />" Be credit smart. Applying for a credit card application means you are ready to assume the responsibility for paying your credit. You and only you - not your parents, spouse, or whoever - is responsible for that.<br /><br />" Use your credit cards wisely and sparingly. Remember: Paying goods and services using credit cards are more expensive than using cash or checks. Credit payments include interest and other fees. Use credit cards as sparingly as possible. If you really need to use credit cards, carry only the cards that you will actually use.<br /><br />" Use credit only if you are sure you can repay it. Paying your debt on a credit card using another does not count.<br /><br />" Avoid impulse shopping on your credit card.<br /><br />" Use credit for money emergency only.<br /><br />" Seek credit counseling as soon you see financial problems on the horizon.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/455581307247250160-7053694938450610222?l=thebestcreditcardsonline.blogspot.com'/></div>Gauri Manikandannoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-455581307247250160.post-87648036923030612452007-09-27T01:18:00.000-07:002007-09-27T01:20:03.337-07:00Things to Know About MasterCard<div align="justify">Credit card is known today as the plastic money. Meaning, the person applying for a credit card would easily know whether he or she is eligible for applying. This process of instant approval is basically used online or through the internet.<br /><br />To be able to prevent confusion in dealing with a credit card instant approval, you should know these facts:<br /><br />* The credit card instant approval and the credit card application are two different processes. The approval of your credit card does not necessarily mean that your card would be delivered to you as soon as possible. It only means that you are qualified to apply for the credit card. The credit card application will be your next step once you have been given the “go signal” by the bank.<br /><br />* The instant approval of credit cards is made to target customers with good past credit records. Although because of the high credit market today, the banks are willing stretch their limits and offer this program to different kinds of people. This may depend on the bank you’re applying the credit card on.<br /><br />* Majority of banks provide customers with a credit card application form online. These credit card companies make use of this program with secured connection software for your information’s protection.<br /><br />* The information you need to give for your credit card’s instant approval include: your name, your current address, your social security number, and if there are previous address you may have over the years. This is the most common information asked on the instant approval feature of the banks.<br /><br />* The main advantage of getting a speedy approval for your credit card applications is the elimination of the major trouble caused by guesswork on whether the company thinks that you deserve a card or not more instantaneously. Unlike the old-fashioned way when you have to visit a bank in person and ask if you’re qualified then knowing you’re not, this time it's a lot more convenient.<br /><br />* The approval of your credit card online would only take you a few minutes to know your evaluation. It would be your choice to continue your credit card application.<br /><br />And lastly, when you have been approved on your credit card application, don't just go splurging thinking that instant approval also means instant money.<br /><br />Instant approval is more tantamount to instant debt. Think about it. </div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/455581307247250160-6445422867554177725?l=thebestcreditcardsonline.blogspot.com'/></div>Gauri Manikandannoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-455581307247250160.post-168473572460494092007-09-21T05:56:00.000-07:002007-09-21T05:58:28.631-07:00How Credit Card Points are Earned<div align="justify">Credit card companies offer varying benefits and promotions to entice their customers to use their credit cards not only in their everyday purchases but also for major buying decisions.<br /><br />One of the promotions that credit card companies have is the rewarding of points to their users for every purchase that they make.<br /><br />Different credit cards have different product features, benefits and ways of providing rewards to their users. A frequent traveler credit card that is made available in the market to those who are frequently flying can avail of the rewards points their card companies provide to them by converting these rewards to frequent flyer miles. These frequent flyer miles is then converted to actual miles that can be redeemed from airline companies that is co-sponsoring the credit card promotions with that credit card company. The frequent flyer miles are not always equivalent to the actual miles required to travel to particular destination. Some credit card companies reward the credit card user with 1 flyer mile for every dollar spent on his purchases. Different purchases mean varying reward points. Retail companies that may also co-sponsor those credit cards available in the market today may have higher reward points equivalent for purchases made on those credit cards to promote the sales of their products too.<br /><br />Citing the frequent traveler credit card rewards system for example, a card user who purchases groceries, gas or technically his daily purchases, may have an equal travel reward points awarded to him for every dollar he spends on his regular purchases. On the other hand, should he ever buy plane tickets from an airline company co-sponsoring the credit card he’s using, the reward points that he may earn may be higher as this is also one way to help promote the airline company’s latest promotions or travel packages.<br /><br />Once an individual credit card user has accumulated enough points from his purchases, he may then redeem them for equivalent rewards. The higher the accumulated points, the higher the value of the reward he may redeem. Appliances such as a big flat screen tv or electronic gadgets such as a notebook PC are some of the possible rewards that credit card companies may offer their users when they redeem their rewards points. For smaller accumulated rewards points, a not so frequent credit card user may also redeem their points for rewards of smaller value such as a personal wall clock or a desk calculator. Credit card companies have different rewards for various points accumulated on a specific time period. </div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/455581307247250160-16847357246049409?l=thebestcreditcardsonline.blogspot.com'/></div>Gauri Manikandannoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-455581307247250160.post-2549408819461140182007-09-19T18:47:00.000-07:002007-09-19T18:49:05.559-07:00Cons of an International Credit Card<div align="justify">Credit card fraud is a fast increasing crime in the world. International Credit Card holders are mostly the victims of this unauthorized access to their accounts. Let’s take a closer look of the problems faced by international credit cards.<br /><br />1. Repetitive use of credit card numbers. After a credit card number has been used and disregarded, say cancelled, credit card companies would reissue the same number to other cardholders. The personal identification numbers (PIN) is changed as well as the credit cardholder’s personal information. But it still bears the same credit card number.<br /><br />2. Low standards when it comes to the use of cards by the participating merchants. This is a common problem encountered by international credit cardholders. Employees of the participating merchants have the full access to the account number as well as the security number of the card.<br /><br />3. Account Statements given out by credit card companies contains less information about the participating merchant. It does not include relevant information about the vendor that charged any transaction on the credit card.<br />4. Unreliable blocking functions. Once a card loss is reported, it will still take months for the credit card companies to block the transactions being made through the stolen or lost credit card.<br /><br />5. Lack of validation software. Participating vendors should have better validation software installed on their computer system.<br /><br />6. Consumer unfriendly policies on fraud management. The policies on the present fraud management take the blame on the cardholders though not directly stipulated. This means that the policies on the fraud management of international credit card companies protect not the consumers but the company.<br /><br />7. Lax standards on investigation about fraudulent transactions. This is the sad part for the victims of fraud through their credit cards. Getting the suspects charged though proven guilty of fraud seems to take on slowly.<br /><br />8. Credit card fraud is usually committed through online transactions. This means that credit cardholders are not protected with the authorized or unauthorized use of their cards on purchases or services paid online.<br /><br />9. Most of the companies that typically appear on charges are those associated with pornography industry. These companies are the ones that accept transactions even without verifying the cardholder’s information.<br /><br />10. Most of the banks’ system is not compatible with other international credit card companies for the e-commerce. This is a potential weakness that would mean loss of clients so they would prefer to keep quiet about it. </div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/455581307247250160-254940881946114018?l=thebestcreditcardsonline.blogspot.com'/></div>Gauri Manikandannoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-455581307247250160.post-2912811156639055422007-09-17T06:03:00.000-07:002007-09-17T06:05:24.404-07:00CHASE.COM CREDIT CARD: AN NEW BREED OF CASHLESS SHOPPING<div align="justify">When people started using plastics as their primary source of financial disbursements when shopping, they did not yet realize its greatest potential until today.<br /><br />It is only now that consumers learned how to treat credit cards with utmost care and concern as these could be one way to their success or failure.<br /><br />Consequently, with the dawn of cashless shopping, many credit cards companies continue to proliferate in the market. With this overload of information, choosing the best product that fits your needs can get pretty overwhelming. The sheer number of brochures and application forms not only make it inconvenient to make an intelligent choice, but also adds to unnecessary clutter.<br /><br />This is where the advantages of applying online for a credit card comes in. It’s easier to make head-to-head comparisons, because of the relative simplicity you can retrieve the latest information about your prospect credit card product. And once you’ve made your choice, it’s just a matter of pounding at your keyboard and clicking those checkboxes. No manual, long-hand writing each letter of your name in those annoying boxes. What a great, great consumerist world we live in.<br /><br />So, what to remember when hunting for a good deal on a credit card online? Here are a few tips:<br /><br /><strong>1. Know thyself. </strong><br /><br />What do you need the card for? Is this your first time to get one? Where would you most likely use it? All these are basic questions, and ones that cannot be stressed enough. You don’t want to end up like more than half of Americans who end up buying things they’re not sure they need with money they’re not sure they have.<br /><br /><strong>2. Be internet-savvy.</strong><br /><br />There are a few websites that facilitate a simple side-by-side comparison of different credit card products, but usually it’s a marketing tool of only one credit card company. If you’re interested in comparing products from one company to another, you’ll still have to go to each company’s website. This still beats having to deal with all that paper, though.<br /><br /><strong>3. Read the fine print. </strong><br /><br />This is as good a time as any to do your homework. Often times when we read from a brochure the company sent us, they conveniently leave off a lot of vital information about the product. Calling their helpdesk may help, but that’s just another hassle. And anyway, if you still have specific questions, there’s usually an email link you can use to field them.<br /><strong><br />4. Make sure you’re secure.</strong><br /><br />This is a sophisticated techno-world we live in. If you have to, invest in security software that will protect you and how you surf the internet. This also applies to when you’re already going through the application process itself.<br /><br />The credit card industry is a multi-billion dollar business. Competition for market share has kept up with the times, and that means using the internet to lure more clients. You as a consumer can use this tool to your advantage, and it won’t be that easy. But it will certainly be worth it, if you get the hang of it.<br /><br />Just remember your goals why you’re getting that plastic money in the first place, and try to do your homework.<br /></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/455581307247250160-5113870925416249224?l=thebestcreditcardsonline.blogspot.com'/></div>Gauri Manikandannoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-455581307247250160.post-88226410825753910072007-09-01T00:19:00.000-07:002007-09-01T00:20:32.202-07:00How to Get the Best Credit Card Deal<div align="justify">Getting your own credit card is not as easy as you may think. Applying for a credit card account needs a lot of thinking.<br /><br />Before marching down to your credit card agent, ask yourself some questions like do you want to pay for the credit every month or carry a balance instead? The type of credit line limit is also to be taken into consideration. Credit cards offer a lot of benefit packages, think of the package that would suit your needs.<br /><br />If you want to carry on a balance, look for the credit card that offers the best interest rate or the annual fee offer. However, if you intend to pay for the credit every month, then look on the one that offers the lowest interest rate.<br /><br />Credit limit determines how far you can go with your card. Think of the lowest limit that would fit your needs, not your lifestyle. Remember it’s supposed to be for necessity and not for luxury. Adding 30% to the limit you agreed on. This will maximize the value of the card. Meaning, you can use the card on a normal basis and still have enough value if an emergency arises.<br /><br />Credit card companies offer tremendous bonuses on their cards. If you wanted to sign up for these packages, think, think, and think! Will they really be of help to you or are they just there to make your credit life miserable?<br /><br />Of course the table is laden with different courses. You are only to get one so don’t rush into one that looks good. You always have the liberty of comparing one credit card to another.<br /><br />Always choose the credit card that offers the lowest annual percentage rate (APR). APR’s could either be a “fixed” or a “variable” rate. Fixed rates do not change as the name implies but is higher. Variable rates changes depending on the economic trends. This is to be taken into consideration if you’re deciding on carrying a balance.<br /><br />Some credit cards offer a grace period of 25 days before they charge the interest on the purchase. But some may not have. Look for those that have one and the longer the grace period, the better the deal.<br /><br />You also have to check on other fees attached to the credit card. These are the penalty rates as well as other charges like over the limit charges and late payment charges.<br /><br />When choosing a card, always remember to get the one that would best fit your needs and at the same time the best deal you could get out of it. </div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/455581307247250160-8822641082575391007?l=thebestcreditcardsonline.blogspot.com'/></div>Gauri Manikandannoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-455581307247250160.post-12556388741016427622007-08-30T18:54:00.000-07:002007-08-30T18:58:07.205-07:00The Bad Credit Card That May Do Good<div align="justify">Millions of people use credit cards all around the world. A huge chunk of those users made mistakes when dealing with their credit cards. The consequence of the errors is costly.<br /><br />A lot end up in debt and most of the time these are the people who rant about the credit card being the devil. But fact of the matter is, this is not the case. When used properly, credit cards are very good financial tools.<br /><br />Credit cards are not necessarily just for people who have large sums of money to use. There are some cards even for the financially challenged, and these are called the: “Bad Credit Cards.”<br /><br />A bad credit card is just precisely that: a card with a very bad or low credit limit.<br />There are two types of credit cards: there is the secured and the unsecured credit cards.<br /><br />Unsecured credit cards are the accounts that are free from the limits of a bank account. The limit of credit is up to the bank’s discretion and not up to the size of the bank account. If the bank thinks that a person is deserving of a bigger credit, then it will be given.<br /><br />This is the usual type of credit cards in the market and is fairly popular among the card shopping people. These are also the cards known to be more respected by other companies. These are also the cards known to send people to a very deep debt.<br />This is the type of credit card that should be avoided if the applicant is already in a financial mess.<br /><br />The secured credit cards are the bad credit cards. These cards are grounded on the size of the account a person has. For example, if a person has a $1,000 balance, then that is all the credit a person is going to get. If there is a point where the balance reaches $0, then the person should go and “re-fill” the account.<br /><br />The bank limits the credit to the money already present to avoid overspending, thus preventing even deeper debt. This will monitor the expenses of the person and will help the development of a financial recovery for some.<br /><br />These credit cards are also known as “pre-paid credit cards” for there is only a fixed amount that can be used and the holder is the one who puts it there. </div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/455581307247250160-1255638874101642762?l=thebestcreditcardsonline.blogspot.com'/></div>Gauri Manikandannoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-455581307247250160.post-79747175760297271672007-08-29T03:50:00.000-07:002007-08-29T03:51:54.326-07:00Credit Cards and Your Business<div align="justify">Any business will cringe at the thought of what the banks put them through to use credit cards. There is a real need for you to understand a lot more than can be mentioned in this article.<br /><br />The best way to receive all the tools and services you need to protect yourself and to make your voice heard is to check this website: <a class="article_text_link" href="http://www.merchant911.org/" target="_new">http://www.merchant911.org/</a> This is a group of dedicated individuals who have been working for years to try to change banking and processing company rules and regulations as relative to merchants, both large and small. It's not hard to imagine that some day soon you will be approached and asked to spend your time and money to ship a product or provide a service with these fraudulent cards.<br /><br />Do your part to keep America strong and allow your business to grow and prosper, not be destroyed by thieves and credit card sharks </div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/455581307247250160-7974717576029727167?l=thebestcreditcardsonline.blogspot.com'/></div>Gauri Manikandannoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-455581307247250160.post-81886204257014454962007-08-26T18:47:00.000-07:002007-08-26T18:56:56.950-07:00Consolidating Your Credit Card Debt<div align="justify">Credit cards have revolutionized the purchasing experience since Diners Club released the first credit card in the year 1950. </div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"><br /><br />The Dinners Club credit card gave consumers limited credit that, at times, even surpassed the personal savings of some participants. </div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"><br /><br />It allowed them to buy items they usually could not afford if they were to make a straight cash purchase. It also provided the convenience and safety of not having to carry large amounts of cash. On average, American households possess 4 credit cards or a total of 13 payment cards if debit cards and store cards are included. </div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"><br /><br />There are, actually, 1.3 billion payment cards of assorted types in circulation in the United States. But, if you think that credit cards have made the lives of modern American consumers easier, you may be wrong... Statistics show that the average credit card debt for each household in the U.S. is $4,800 per month. </div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"><br /><br />Also, there were 1.3 million credit card holders declaring bankruptcy in the year 2003. And if you still consider yourself unaffected by credit card debt, then consider this: upon retirement, most Americans can only expect to receive about 37% percent of their annual retirement income because of prior debt payment. </div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"><br /><br />This will leave many individuals depending on the government, family and charity for economic survival. These are some scary facts. So before you find yourself in a position of economic uncertainty, it might be wise to evaluate your spending and current credit card debt. </div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"><br /><br />If your credit card debt exceeds what seems to be a reasonable level, you may want to consider credit card debt consolidation. So what is credit card debt consolidation? In a nutshell, credit card debt consolidation is taking all your credit card payments and consolidating them into one monthly payment. </div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"><br /><br />This way, you don’t have to worry about managing the payments individually. Aside from this advantage, it may also provide you with the following additional benefits:</div><div align="justify">- Reduce interest payments </div><div align="justify">- Waive late and overtime fees </div><div align="justify"><br /><br />- Reduced monthly payments </div><div align="justify"><br />- Debt relief in a shorter time<br />- Credit improvement </div><div align="justify"><br />- Save more money in the long run </div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"><br /><br />There are actually two major types of credit card debt consolidation... </div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"><br /></div><div align="justify">You may want to consider a Credit Card Counseling firm. They assist consumers by consolidating all their monthly payments into one single payment and then dispersing this to the creditors on behalf of the consumers. </div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"><br /><br />The other type is through a home equity loan or other secured loan. This is done by exchanging an unsecured debt (such as credit card debt) for a secured debt (a debt backed by specific assets such as real estate). </div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"><br /><br />Now, credit card debt consolidation isn’t a magic balm that will drive all your credit card debt malaise away. But, it will make paying all your debt easier and might save you money in the long run. </div><div align="justify"></div><div align="justify"><br /><br />Definitely an alternative worth considering... </div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/455581307247250160-8188620425701445496?l=thebestcreditcardsonline.blogspot.com'/></div>Gauri Manikandannoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-455581307247250160.post-4263333316720905812007-08-24T18:51:00.000-07:002007-08-24T19:05:38.194-07:00Credit Repair and Debt Consolidation<div align="justify">Unfortunately, many people will overlook this option, feeling that going with debt consolidation means they are giving in to the enemy. For the consumer in you and me, separating the wheat from them tares among these companies will be quite an enormous task. What should one look for anyway when considering what credit card company to avail of? </div><div align="justify"><br />As with most smart consumers, the key to finding the best credit card company is to stick with the best. Among the hundreds of credit card companies that exist, only about 10 to 20 can be considered truly successful. Identifying these companies will narrow down your choices to the select few credit cards that are worth applying for.</div><div align="justify"><br />Here are some of the characteristics of successful credit card companies.</div><div align="justify"><br />1) <strong>No Annual Fee</strong> – Some credit card companies are confident enough in their status that they do not need to collect annual fees. When you consider applying for a card, make sure you consider those that do not have annual fees first. Remember, if these companies that require annual fees are not content to make money off of the interest on your purchases, then they are not financially reliable to bank on. If the card you are looking at has annual fees, steer clear of them unless they offer some fantastic feature that you just can’t miss.</div><div align="justify"><br />2) <strong>Extended Interest Days</strong>- Upon purchase of an item using your credit card, you will not be charged interest unless you are unable to pay before the set interest day deadline. The most successful credit card companies offer longer periods of grace. This means that you do no have to pay interest until that day comes. Often enough, the standard for this period is 25 days.<br />To avoid having to pay interest, you have to pay within 25 days after your billing statement. For large purchases that require numerous months to pay, you can swallow the interest for its sake.</div><div align="justify"><br />3) <strong>Low Annual Percentage Rate</strong> – Some credit card companies offer low annual percentage rates. These companies can attract more customers because they have the financial clout to wag such a deal in front of consumers. Consumers will benefit from lower APR. Companies that offer lower APRs hint of larger consumer bases that make such offers possible.</div><div align="justify"><br />If you plan to pay your balance on credit cards in full, the APR may not be much of a factor in your selection of a credit card.</div><div align="justify"><br />4) <strong>Consult Feedbacks and Industry Profiles</strong> – most successful credit card companies are featured in business journals and other media. This will also give you an idea of who’s who in the credit card business.</div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/455581307247250160-2012555238546171473?l=thebestcreditcardsonline.blogspot.com'/></div>Gauri Manikandannoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-455581307247250160.post-37974139813682942692007-08-24T01:22:00.000-07:002007-08-24T01:24:24.192-07:00Cash It Back with Credit Cards<div align="justify"><strong>What is a cash back credit card?</strong></div><div align="justify"><br />A cash back credit card gives annual rebates or gives back money to the card holder based on how much have been purchased with it. This type of credit card is suitable for those who rarely use cash in their transactions. The rebate is computed as a percentage of the total amount charged to the credit card in a year. Usually, rebates are between 1-2%. Some can even go as high as 3%.</div><div align="justify"><br /><strong>Are rebates always in the form of cash?</strong></div><div align="justify"><br />Strictly speaking, cash rebates should be in the form of cash. But now that card companies are diversifying, rebates may now come in the form of gift certificates and discount coupons. This somehow blurs the line between and among the different types of credit cards mentioned in the first paragraph of this article. </div><div align="justify"><br />Some cash back credit cards offer upgrading of membership status which allow their members to more discounts and gifts during anniversaries and holidays like Christmas and birthdays. Moreover, some credit card companies also have partnerships with other consumer products that entitle their members to added product discounts in future purchases.</div><div align="justify"><br /><strong>What banks offer cash back credit cards?</strong></div><div align="justify"><br />There are many banks that offer cash back credit cards in kind. They usually have a rewards program for members wherein card holders receive gifts and discounts courtesy of partner product companies; discount coupons to hotels, restaurants, specialty stores; and travel miles for non-travel purchases. Below are some banks that offer cash back benefits.</div><div align="justify"> </div><div align="justify">1. Citibank </div><div align="justify">2. Chevy Chase Bank</div><div align="justify">3. HSBC</div><div align="justify">4. Royal Bank Avion (Canada)</div><div align="justify">5. Standard Chartered Bank</div><div align="justify"><br /><strong>Are cash back credit cards offered only by banks?</strong></div><div align="justify"><br />No. Since business establishments are innovating their services and benefits for their customers, some of them offer cash back to their loyal customers e.g. Discover Card (Discover Magazine). Aside from giving book and magazine discounts, airline miles are also offered by Discover Card. Big grocery stores such as Krogers, Wal Mart, and Bi-Lo offer cash back but in the form of cash certificates and discount coupons. How does one get a cash back credit card?</div><div align="justify"><br />Since almost all credit card companies (e.g. banks, stores, airlines) offer cash (or in kind) back benefits, all that has to be done is to file an application in any of their office or stores, or signup online by visiting their web sites. Just be a word of caution for online applications, make sure that the transaction is made through a secure internet connection since identity theft has become rampant with the advent of credit card use.</div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/455581307247250160-3797413981368294269?l=thebestcreditcardsonline.blogspot.com'/></div>Gauri Manikandannoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-455581307247250160.post-61086746612620383302007-08-24T01:19:00.000-07:002007-08-24T01:21:39.657-07:00Online Credit Card Application: The Easiest Way<div align="justify">Many credit cards are offered in the market today thus, making companies more aggressive in advertising and marketing their card services. They thought that the rewards they get and the low interest they have is already enough to last a lifetime.</div><div align="justify"><br />However, there are instances when they get to have the chance of seeing promotions like 0% APR. Now, this is really something. But the question is, is it true? Is there a great probability that credit card companies can actually offer a 0% APR?</div><div align="justify"><br />For most financial experts, they contend that it is, indeed, possible. In fact, credit card companies would definitely go for this kind of scheme just to get the consumers on their hook.</div><div align="justify"><br />That sounds too good to be true, indeed. But the question is how come they can offer something so good just like that?</div><div align="justify"><br />Normally, 0% annual percentage rate or APR lasts only for 6 months. The countdown starts from the day the credit card is claimed.</div><div align="justify"><br />In most instances, 0% APR are attractive to people who would want to have a balance transfer. This is because they would want to consolidate all of their debts into one payment only. And because they have a huge pile of debt, they would rather go to a credit company that can offer them lower interest rates. </div><div align="justify"><br />With things like 0% APR credit card, who can resist them?</div><div align="justify"><br />Moreover, with the 6-month timeframe, people will get to have the chance of paying their standing debts for a whole six month-period only. That would be a lot of savings.</div><div align="justify"><br />But then again, 0% APR credit cards are not at all beneficial to everybody. As they say, there is always an exception to the rule. This refers to those who do not accumulate interest charges simply because they have outstanding balance. So, they wouldn’t feel the necessity of getting a 0% APR credit card.</div><div align="justify"><br />The best credit cards for these types of people are those that offer rewards and cash backs instead of lower rates.</div><div align="justify"><br />All of these boil down to one point, that people must be aware on how these wonderful offers can provide them the benefit that they want.</div><div align="justify"><br />Indeed, there are lots of rewards and 0% APR credit card out there. But if it will not work for those who do not really them because of the mentioned situations, then it’s best not to have them at all. Besides, the best 0% reward is not to have a credit card at all.</div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/455581307247250160-6134855289434550332?l=thebestcreditcardsonline.blogspot.com'/></div>Gauri Manikandannoreply@blogger.com0
