Here is video of MSNBC's Chris Matthews comparing President Obama's "dithering" on making a decision on sending reinforcements to Afghanistan to British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain's appeasement of Adolph Hitler in the run-up to World War II.

Matthews characterized Obama's performance as "too much Chamberlain and not enough Churchill."

Exactly, Chris! You finally got it right!

Here is video of a 60 Minutes Vanity Fair Poll that shows Rush Limbaugh is still considered to be the most influential conservative in America today. Rush was chosen by 26% of respondents, while Glenn Beck came in at 11%. Sarah Palin and Dick Cheney were each chosen by 10%, with Sean Hannity at 8%.

The video also talks about other poll questions, including which President should be added to Mount Rushmore. Ronald Reagan was tops with 20%, and unbelievably, Barack Obama was chosen by 16% of respondents!

Obama will make his speech from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and is expected to announce he will send 34,000 additional troops to Afghanistan, not the 40,000 requested by McChrystal.

Here is video of a local news report out of Washington about suspected police killer Maurice Clemmons. The report includes a brief phone interview with an Arkansas prosecutor - Larry Jegley - who said former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee "granted clemency to a disturbing number of people," including a person named Maurice Clemmons "who should not have been let out." This report says Clemmons was serving a 95-year sentence in Arkansas when released. Other reports have said it was a 60-year sentence.

The report says Gov. Huckabee has issued a statement which denounces the shootings, and places the blame on the criminal justice system.

Here is Huckabee's statement (thanks to reader Nelsa for the link):

The senseless and savage execution of police officers in Washington State has saddened the nation, and early reports indicate that a person of interest is a repeat offender who once lived in Arkansas and was wanted on outstanding warrants here and in Washington State. The murder of any individual is a profound tragedy, but the murder of a police officer is the worst of all murders in that it is an assault on every citizen and the laws we live within.

Should he be found to be responsible for this horrible tragedy, it will be the result of a series of failures in the criminal justice system in both Arkansas and Washington State. He was recommended for and received a commutation of his original sentence from 1990, this commutation made him parole eligible and he was then paroled by the parole board once they determined he met the conditions at that time. He was arrested later for parole violation and taken back to prison to serve his full term, but prosecutors dropped the charges that would have held him. It appears that he has continued to have a string of criminal and psychotic behavior but was not kept incarcerated by either state. This is a horrible and tragic event and if found and convicted the offender should be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. Our thoughts and prayers are and should be with the families of those honorable, brave, and heroic police officers.

Here is a video report on the latest regarding the shooting deaths of four police officers from the Tacoma, Washington area. The four officers were shot at a local coffee shop yesterday, and police are looking for Maurice Clemmons - a man granted clemency by former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee in the year 2000. Clemmons was in an Arkansas prison having been sentenced to 60 years in prison at the time of his release. Police have surrounded a home this morning that may have Clemmons inside.

Since being freed by Huckabee, Clemmons has been in trouble with the law repeatedly, including being released on bail in Washington within the last week despite being charged with the rape of a child.

Here is video of Democrat Rep. David Obey on CNN yesterday where he revealed the way many Democrats feel about sending the reinforcements to Afghanistan requested by Gen. Stanley McChrystal. Obey said he believes it will be a "fool's errand," because we don't have stable enough governments in Afghanistan or Pakistan.

The problem is that you can have the best policy in the world, but if you don't have the tools to implement it, it isn't worth a bean bag. And I don't think we have the tools in the Pakistani government. I don't think we have the tools in the Afghan government, and until we do, I think much of what we do is a fool's errand."

This probably explains why Obama has taken four months to decide on the request for reinforcements by McChrystal. He is trying to craft an approach that will fulfill his campaign promise to focus on the War in Afghanistan, but appease many in his own party who basically oppose military action anywhere for any reason.

Anti-War Loon Cindy Sheehan Sticks Bullhorn in Face of Elderly Vietnam Vet - Video 11/29/09

Here is video of far-left anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan getting into it with an elderly Vietnam War Veteran after she stuck a bullhorn in his face. The veteran knocked the bullhorn away and was then yelled and screamed at by members of Code Pink, who were there with Sheehan, protesting in front of Travis Air Force Base.

The veteran had it right when he told Sheehan and the others:

"None of you have got the vaguest idea what you are advocating."

Former Gov. Mike Huckabee is facing real problems if he should seek the GOP Nomination for President in 2012 after word is out tonight that a man he granted clemency in Arkansas in 2000 is now being sought in the shooting deaths of four police officers near Tacoma, Washington today.

The Seattle Times reports:

Maurice Clemmons, the 37-year-old Tacoma man being sought for questioning in the killing of four Lakewood police officers this morning, has a long criminal record punctuated by violence, erratic behavior and concerns about his mental health.

Nine years ago, then-Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee granted clemency to Clemmons, commuting his lengthy prison sentence over the protestations of prosecutors.

“This is the day I’ve been dreading for a long time,” Larry Jegley, prosecuting attorney for Arkansas’ Pulaski County said Sunday night when informed that Clemmons was being sought in connection to the killings.

Clemmons’ criminal history includes at least five felony convictions in Arkansas and at least eight felony charges in Washington. The record also stands out for the number of times he has been released from custody despite questions about the danger he posed.

Clemmons had been in jail in Pierce County for the past several months on a pending charge of second-degree rape of a child. . . . MORE

This is not the first time Huckabee's seeming bent toward leniency on convicted criminals has resulted in tragedy. Another man granted clemency by Huckabee went on to rape and murder a young woman in Missouri. That man's name was Wayne Dumond. Scozzafava is the liberal New York "Republican" who dropped out of the New York 23 Congressional Race at the last minute and endorsed the Democrat, who eventually won. Scozzafava says she would be a "7" out of 10 on the list of principles.

Armey said the Republicans lost the New York 23 race the day they nominated Scozzafava.

Here is video of a Fox News report today on the 911 Call in the Tiger Woods Accident. The video report contains audio of the 911 Call, and then gives a statement issued by Tiger Woods today in which he says the accident was entirely his fault. He said his wife, Elin, "acted courageously," and had nothing to do with the accident.

Here is the statement from Tiger Woods' website:

As you all know, I had a single-car accident earlier this week, and sustained some injuries. I have some cuts, bruising and right now I'm pretty sore.

This situation is my fault, and it's obviously embarrassing to my family and me. I'm human and I'm not perfect. I will certainly make sure this doesn't happen again.

This is a private matter and I want to keep it that way. Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible.

The only person responsible for the accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false.

This incident has been stressful and very difficult for Elin, our family and me. I appreciate all the concern and well wishes that we have received. But, I would also ask for some understanding that my family and I deserve some privacy no matter how intrusive some people can be.

Gillerman said bluntly that if the world does not act to stop Iran from becoming a Nuclear Power, Israel is prepared to do it. Echoing the campaign slogan of President Obama, he said Israel's view is "Yes We Can;" "Yes We Will;" "Yes We Must."

Gillerman said his message to Iranian Dictator Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is that the "world is not prepared to live with a Nuclear Iran." He finished by saying, "Stop now or pay a high price."

I'm catching up a little. Here is a video report on the bizarre couple who crashed the White House State Dinner given in honor of the Prime Minister of India this past Tuesday. The report shows a photo of the couple actually managing to shake hands with President Obama, in addition to all the other celebrities at the event.

The Secret Service says the couple was stopped at an initial checkpoint because they did not appear on the guest list. But a "uniformed officer" reportedly passed them on thinking they would be further vetted at a subsequent checkpoint - which did not happen.

Here is a video report from CNN about the Tiger Woods accident near his Orlando home that took place early Friday morning.

TMZ is reporting that his facial injuries were caused by his wife, Elin Nordegren:

But we're told Tiger had a conversation Friday -- with a non-law enforcement type -- detailing what went down before his Escalade hit a fire hydrant.

We're told he said his wife had confronted him about reports that he was seeing another woman. The argument got heated and, according to our source, she scratched his face up. We're told it was then Woods beat a hasty retreat for his SUV -- but according to our source, Woods says his wife followed behind with a golf club. As Tiger drove away, she struck the vehicle several times with the club.
