B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L! The highs for the next week will be in the mid to upper 60's everyday, with lows hovering around 40 at night. Hiking trails are becoming more visible in many areas of the parks. In areas around and below 7,000' there is barely any snow. Waterfalls are flowing fast and steady, so remember to use caution when approaching them.

The five day forecast is showing a steady warm up and clear blue skies. The highs will range from 59-65 degrees, with lows dipping down into the upper 30s. Today is a great day to revive here at Montecito. The fire in the lodge is crackling, and snow has freshly covered about 20 km of cross-country ski trails.The high will be 36 with a low of 27 tonight. Escorts to the lodge are still required,so please call the lodge for times.

Last night we received around 13" of fresh beautiful white snow. The snow is still falling at a steady pace with perfect snowflakes. Today the expected accumulation is between 2-6". Access to the lodge is by escort only, you will need to call the lodge for an escort time. Thank you!

Today the high will be 30 with a low of 12. There is quite a bit of wind blowing through the forest this morning but it is expected to slow down by the afternoon. The snow has turned into ice around the camp so snowboarding and cross country ski conditions are not suggested, although snowshoeing and tubing are still fine. We are finally experiencing spring like weather for the first time officially this year. The high today will be 48 with a low tonight of 24 ( brrr). Today the sun is out and the birds are singing loudly after the "big" snow storm. Overall we gathered about 7 inches of snow. It's not the 2' we were hoping for, but it works just fine. All trails have been groomed and are in excellent skiing condition. The high today will be 36F with a low tonight of 22F. The road is still closed to the lodge, so please call for escort times.

Today is a snowy and windy day in the Sierra's. We are expected to get 10-14" of snow. The road is closed to the lodge so please call for escort times. It is expected to snow all day with a 30% chance of more snow overnight. STORM! :)
