Latvia week

Many things happenned again, but I'm so lazy to write something on that blog, so I have doubts if I need that blog, if I'm writing just for myself, I think is not worth. Well, my health status got very down last days, covered by strong flu and many other weird things, that doctors can't give me an answer for my question: what's wrong?! But so far I'm at live, thanks for many of you for support and help!

Then I went for Latvian Sighthound Club 30 years anniversary event in Riga. Thanks for all participants on the behalf of Latvian Sighthound Club. We had nice show with great hot weather. I have got note from the club for being active member and popularising sighthound breeds in Latvia, it was very big honour for me!

Later I continued to show dogs:

Greyhound, Ch Big Gold Rush Of Nice Grey's was Best Bitch 3

Italian Greyhound, Arte Barocco Novele was Best Male 3 with CAC, and now he is new LV & LT Champion

Afghan Hound, Ch Agha Djari's Un-Break My Heart was BOB, and Runner Up SBIS

Afghan Hound, Ch Olaf Du Menuel Galopin was BOS, BOB Veteran, BIS Veteran, and also won BIS Progeny Group with his kids!

Thanks a lot for everybody who made this day a great time for sighthound owners, and of course judges- Marie Christine Delabelle from Belgium and Eli-Marie Klepp from Norway!

Same day, Italian Greyhound girls went in style by being placed Best Female 2 for Fredericca Di Casa Bresars 'Veera' and Best Female 4 for Fiona Di Casa Bresars 'Vilppu' at Italian Greyhound Specialty in Helsinki, Finland under breed specialist Jean Louis Grünheid from France!

Also can't miss braging about Ay Amor Of Bresar's who started doing lure coursing and at this first run, he is 1st and gets his first SERTK! Thanks Noora, for your activities!

World Dog Show & other stuff

Well, being honest, I expected something more from this event... So much gossip and talking how unique show this will be and so on, I think even Poland's WDS in 2006, was much better organised.

Everyday was same, arriving to showground at 7am all exhibitors needed to stay in the line to get into hall for least 40 minutes with all stuff and dogs, and docs were checked for several times. Very annoying.

Results were different but anyway congrats to all winners involved. My most favorite dog Sealyham Terrier from USA won the group and went all way to BIS. What a dog! I saw him first on the table to be prepared for a ring and he was amazingly beautiful!

I have showed just couple dogs, best result was that Brazilian Terrier Ch Tallitontun Sylvester went R.CACIB dog, so title was really close, but not this time :)

Anyway from supposed days of presence there, I made just to be there on Friday & Saturday, due to my flu & also some other people making a mess of this trip, great this show is over.

And I look forward Bratislava 2009!

It was exceptional happiness to meet my friend Christina Hagenes from Norway (Suna Regens Whippets) after several years, and we had so much fun together! Our new dog project is coming soon to be ;)

Tammela Specialty 28/06

Yesterday have been showing at Tammela sighthound specialty during Saluki World Congress.

I have shown first, Saluki Aziz Cashme 'Claudia' (owned by Kristina & Sanja Ekblad) who was 2nd in her junior class among 22 bitches under Christina Roseén Lundström from Sweden, later she was picked up to best 10-12 bitches in Best Bitch competition by Frank Farrar from USA. There were over 200 Salukis entered!

In Afghans, Agha Djari's Un-Break My Heart went Best Bitch 3 this time, under Christina Roseén Lundström from Sweden.

Now I'm away to Sweden for World Winner and Circuit shows, showing from Wednesday to Sunday. So I will be not able to check my email. Anyway I hope to see and meet many friends of mine all around the world!

FLASH! Great news from Radana, our Ch Al Capone Of Bresar's was winning BOB, and later as well Group #2 at Brno International Show in Czech! I'm so happy for these results, this is Frodo's 3rd weekend in a row being Group 2nd, and it's a big thing for cirneco to be placed so high! Definitely Frodo is most winning cirneco dell'etna in Middle Europe! :)

Yesterday I was at Kylie X concert in Riga... This was the best concert ever in my life, what a performance, show, stage, dresses and her majesty KYLIE! All tickets were sold out in a moment, and Arena Riga was completely full. If you have still possibility to visit her tour concert, you will not regret! :)

Judges were today for breed Gabriela Veiga (Portugal), for group Rita Kadike Skadina (Latvia), and BIS final Kurt Nilsson (Sweden). Thank you!!!

* Chinese Crested Dog, Ch Candy Queen's Bad Luck Love got CACIB, BOB (Judge- Marjatta Pylvänäinen Suorsa, Finland)

* Brazilian Terrier, Ch Tallitontun Sylvester was BOB with CACIB (Judge- Anne Sume, Estonia)

* Bracco Italiano, Ch Heinäaron Ragazzina was BOS with CACIB (Judge- Rafael Malo, Spain)

* Afghan Hound, Ch Olaf Du Menuel Galopin went BOS, BOB Veteran and BIS Veteran 2 again under Gabriela Veiga from Portugal!

Meanwhile in Poland our Czech CirnecoMan, Ch Al Capone Of Bresar's was BOB and Group #2 today in Raciborz under Maria Zasada from Poland! YAY!

Hi everybody, sorry for my not so much active being writing here, but by last days many things have happenned. Last week I had two trips down to Paris and Amsterdam, after arrival headed straight down to Latvia, where two Int'l Shows were held in Ozolnieki! The weather on Saturday was most terrible I can just think from all shows I have on my mind. It was lovely rain nonstop all day long, and slighthly +13C outside... Thanks to the weather god, we got no rain during the finals at least. The results of my shown dogs were great:

* Rhodesian Ridgeback, Ch Naitingeila Moka Farastero Sinbest was Best Bitch 2 with R.CACIB (Judge- Kurt Nilsson, Sweden)

* Brazilian Terrier, Ch Tallitontun Sylvester gained CAC, CACIB, BOB and new LV Ch (Judge- Anthony Kelly, Ireland)

* Bracco Italiano, Ch Heinäaron Ragazzina was BOS with CACIB (Judge- Anca Giura, Romania)

* Chinese Crested Dog, Ch Candy Queen's Bad Luck Love gained CACIB, BOB and was in last remaining cut in the Group ring (Judge- Gabriela Veiga, Portugal)

... the last but not the least...

Afghans!!!

They were judged by Mrs Rita Kadike Skadina from Latvia, and I had it all BOB & BOS. This time Ch Olaf Du Menuel Galopin went BOB Veteran with BOB, and Agha Djari's Un-Break My Heart was BOS with CACIB to him. In finals Olaf done well too, he was BIS Veteran-2 under Mrs Ekaterina Senashenko from Russia, and in Group under Gabriela Veiga from Portugal was placed 2nd as well.

* On May,24 there was Int Show in Hamina, Finland where Veera alias Fredericca Di Casa Bresars participated with her beloved owner Sarita- they made great work and the result of that BB2 with FIN CAC under Vija Klucniece from Latvia! She is missing only 1 more certificate for Finnish Champion, but is too early yet.

* On May,31 Estonian Winner'2008 Int Show in Tallinn, Estonia. Ch Ay Amor OF Bresar's 'Milo' was there and got all BM1, EST CAC, CACIB, BOB > new EST Ch & EST Winner'2008! Thanks to judge Natalja Nekrosiene from Lithuania and Inka & Martti who took Milo with them to the trip! * I showed some Peruvians meanwhile: Ch Wanhan Wuoren Walon Kajastus was BOB, Ch Wanhan Wuoren Zero-G Milky Way was BOS, and Kajo & Nowa were BIS Couple 4. picture by Hanna-Maria Zeilanova. * There is slight possibility that we will have a new cirneco litter in the end of the year. Parents will be announced soonest if we decide and find a suitable male. * And yes, the trick about new dog. This weekend has been very busy, even too busy that anybody could just dream about. This weekend 2 our bred dogs were BOB in Finland and Poland: Ch Ay Amor Of Bresar's was BOB in Pori under Janiki Steinbock/Israel Ch Al Capone Of Bresar's was BOB in Bytom under Katarzyna Boryczko/Poland well done Radana & Noora, I'm very glad! Meanwhile myself I was to Jämsä show with 2 dogs and was freezingly successful: Pharaoh Hound, Ribessita Shalam- Alam got CAC, BOB, new FIN Ch Peruvian Hairless, Wanhan Wuoren Walon Kajastus got CAC, BOB, new FIN Ch Judge was Unto Timonen/Finland Sometimes life brings you bad moments, and right now I'm rather busy with some things, and unfortunately I will not be in Hamina or either Helsinki Int Shows. Planned birthday party in Helsinki is cancelled, but we will definetely make a bit later, friends! Website is closed for awhile, we make reconstruction of some pages, and when it will be on, check my dog which one I'm going to co-own! ;) Is not cirneco, is not Afghan, and is not IG ;) Guess?!

These two weekends were busy enough with Vappu celebration (for those who are not from Finland: is just a night when people get drunk mass way, haha), my friends Nada's moving to new place in Särkisalo-party- check her new dog hotel FADERVIKEN, it was super nice, recommend to everybody!

Had short vacation to Bangkok, where we made lots of shopping, eating, suntanning, swimming in the pool and just relax, it was cool! Check the pictures at FACEBOOK!

Milo alias Ay Amor Of Bresar's has been to a All Breeds Show in Rauma on May,11 and he is our 2nd Bresar's Champion! More what he was also BOB in competition, thanks to Cristian Stefanescu from Romania for these victories! And of course huge thanks to the "puppy buyer of alltimes"- NOORA, who has done so great work with Milo in shows, coursing, and now they train obidience, we will all hear more about these guys!

Great news from Ukraine, my co-owned whippet Ch Boxing Helena's Darksecret 'Afa' was shown at two Int shows in Kyiv, Ukraine.

First day, she was winning CACIB and BOS under Hungarian judge; on Sunday she went even better by CACIB BOB Group #1 judged by Erwin Deutscher from Austria and Carmen Gil Polo from Spain!

This weekend was held Lahti Int show in Finland, where I showed dogs on Saturday, and on Sunday it was just hanging around.

Saturday I have showed Pharaoh Hound male, Ribessita Shalam-Alam he was Best Male 2 with CAC and reserve-CACIB, which will be confirmed as CACIB.

And my princess Peruvian Hairless Medium size, JCh Wanhan Wuoren Walon Kajastus was winning again and again CAC, CACIB, BOB. There were 8 Peruvians in her size, and judge was super strict Group 5 specialist- Elina Tan-Hietalahti from Finland, who said Kajo is "greatest quality dog" :)

Thanks to Päivi Votkin, kennel Wanhan Wuoren for another great day! :)

Later on Sunday, I got great news from Radana Blahutova from Czech Rep, she went to Opole Int show with Frodo (Ch Al Capone Of Bresar's) anh he was winning CAC, CACIB, BOB and by this he finished his PL CH! Thanks to sighthound authority judge from Poland- Tomasz Borkowski!

Today we have been to Jyväskylä Int Show, some 300km away from Helsinki to north direction. Very nice show, with very nice main ring, always a pleasure to run there! ;)

Results were good too!!

Vilppu or Fiona Di Casa Bresars was shown 2nd time at her official show and what a result Best Bitch 1, CAC, BOB. Thanks to judge Javier Blanco from Spain. There were 17 IGs entered and Vilppu is just 1 year old girl. Congrats to Saara & Joonas! :)

I also showed two Salukis- Ch Aziz Uma was 4th in champion class, and little energiser dog 9 months old female Aziz Darai was 2nd in junior class!

RIP Sammy

Today have got very sad message from Sven & Elisabet in Sweden, that my buddy Sammy (Ch New Fashion Royal Academy) has passed away on April, 2 being almost 11 years old... :-((

Sammy has been exceptional dog with lots of his own, and he was the one who probably discovered all my interest on Afghans... I will keep you forever in my mind, my friend!

Bresar's 1st bred champion

Today we have got great news from Radana, she is in Bosnia & Herzegovina with Frodo (B. Al Capone) and they wrote some history day for my breeding:

-Al Capone Of Bresar's is our 1st bred champion!-

Frodo has participated at two shows in Bosnia & Herzegovina and has got 2 CAC 2 BOB and first show was Group #3!

Thank you, Radana & Alexandra, for everything you done with Frodo, and also thank you for letting me use your Rams for my first bred litter!

PS Big hugs for my great friend Nada (kennel Mei Dan) who was in Minsk Int today and have won Best In Show down there with Sheltie male, Ido!! Way to go! ;)

Stockholm

Couple days ago I have been to Stockholm for some 22 hours, no, not for the dog show, but for two reasons.

1st Sicilly met Carina Sjöblom and all gang at Chininas, Carina already reported that eveything is well, Sicilly gets adjusted, and Im more than sure that all will be good. Sicilly will have her buddy cirneco girl Saga! Check Sicilly's home in Internet: Chininas Kennel

2nd I have attended my great friend's Maris "Sweden-leave party" (he moves to Brussels for 6 months), thank you Maris & Mattias for great dinner and lovely ending clubbing på stan :) I had blast with memories of Sweden, I have spent some 1,5 year time there earlier, it was great! Heja Sverige!

PS For now, I have been listening to all Melodifestivalen songs, I just can't get out of head Charlotte Perrelli and her Hero winner-song, so vote for Sweden during ESC 2008 in May!

Hi again this time from Finland already.

Didn't have time to write something from the hotel about yesterday show.

Well it went better than on Saturday, hehe, well Saturday wasn't bad either ;)

Ada was BOS again with her 6th(!) CACIB being only 20 month old dog, I think is not bad :) This day Afghans were judged by breed specialist Rita Reyniers from Belgium, she really knows Afghans, I have showed for her many different dogs and I always agree with her opinions, she is good! :)

BOB was Olaf Du Menuel Galopin, he is 11 years old and still going strong, I have showed him again (its my 4th year of his showing). He was also BIS Veteran 2 & Group #2. He made great performance in the ring, when he smelled female in heat in the front, he went crazy, and it took me 5 minutes at least in main ring to make him calm down, judges & viewers were really supporting us, thanks! :)

We showed with Jani several Aziz Salukis and they made good too- BOB Junior + Best Male 2. Jani and Aziz Cane Zadan were in 6 remaining dogs in Junior finals also on Sunday! Great work! Congrats to Sirpa, she has got sooo huge cup for Saturday R.BIS Junior! ;)

Our lovely girls Sanna & Tanja had great weekend with Cockers, especially super greetings & congrats for super Tanja (you rock!) for Junior BIS on Saturday & Group #2 on Sunday with Maya princess! We had again great spent time together, so we see again now during Jyväskylä!

Shows in Lithuania are sometimes too difficult, because ring stewards are so bad educated about showing system and they have no idea sometimes what to do, good when you know the thing, but when you dont, somebody else can decide your titles instead of judge.

Trip to Lithuania was good enough, we had great time with excellent shopping & food, and no tiresome driving, only 55 minutes in the air from Helsinki to Vilnius, and you're there!

Lithuanian Winner'2008

Hey everybody and greetings from wet Vilnius :) Today we had Lithuanian Winner show, where Ada was BOS with another CACIB, and new Lithuanian Winner title on her credit! Thanks to judge Göran Bodegård from Sweden, who mentioned that this is "super quality bitch" in critics ;)

Azzurra Of Bresar's was BOS/CAC/CACIB/LTUW'08 as well under Mona Selbach from Norway.

I showed also Olaf Du Menuel Galopin who was BOB Veteran and later in finals selected BEST IN SHOW-2 under Lisbeth Campbell from Norway! Jani take one Aziz Saluki to finals of BIS Junior and succeed by gaining BEST IN SHOW-2 in some over 120 dogs competition under Hans V.D. Berg from Netherlands. Now we have to go and make some party ;) and also celebrate success of us today & of our friends!! :) tommorow is another showing day so we see tommorow! :)

Kaarina Specialty

Today, March 02 there was time for Kaarina Sighthound Specialty. Kaarina is small town next to Turku, we had 3 dogs there and day was more than fine :-) The judge both for IGs & Afghans was Norwegian Björg Foss, famous sighthound specialist, results: Veera, Fredericca Di Casa Bresars was first time in junior class, she won the class with 4 entries, later Best Bitch, and BEST OF BREED, by that she received her first FIN CAC. Hmm, reminds me show career steps of Ericca ;-) Judge wasn't surprised after I told that this is Ericca's daughter, Mrs Björg Foss gave Ericca SBIS in 2005 :) Veera in Kaarina, 02 Mar 2008 Vilppu, Fiona Di Casa Bresars was 4th in junior class with nice critics too. Must admit that there were only 6 dogs from 17 entries only awarded with EXC. Good job, Sarita, and mega congratulations! In Afghans, we had Ada, Agha Djari's Un-Break My Heart and she was Best Bitch 3. Not bad either! Thanks to Jani, Saara & Sarita for lovely day! :)

Alitalia

Well to have a great luck with co-owning is not my favorite part. With many problems and having in touch with Manuel Costa, owner of Alitalia, I decided to "let her go", I won't breed her, also her quality turned to be not the best one (weird when best puppy by exterior turns to be worst one). She keeps enjoying wild life in sunny Portugal.

So there will be no cirnechi litters in 2008. Next one will be in 2009.

PS Must look for new females ;)

Bonie went to Germany!

This Wednesday, also little terrorist Cose Della Vita Dei Bresar's aka Bonie, went to her new home in Dortmund, Germany. Her co-owner Irina Wirtz flew all the way from Dusseldorf to Riga to pick her up, we got message that all is fine, and she is having great time there with Irina, Peter, Alex & Marina! Bonie is co-owned by me, she is my hope for future, and after she will grows up she moves back to me for awhile. Also all her litters are going to be by Bresar's.
