Yesterday I wanted to buy a new perfume. I had never wore perfumes before. When i went to perfume shop, there were many perfume brands, they made me confuse. I have bought Hugo Boss suits and satisfy with them. So Hugo Boss brand has a good image on my mind. If Hugo Boss didn't have a good image, i won't make the decision that quick.

3. How much is the maximum risk?
If our business idea doesn't perform as we expected, how much money we would lose. If the maximum risk won't make us bankrupt, then it's a good business idea.

In my view, US financial bailout plan is good for business. Why ? because, as a businessman, we need loans to fund our business ideas, right ? and where do we get the loans ? we get them from the banks.

Yeah, i got a new business idea. The business idea is surveillance camera rental business. When we must leave our home or office for a business trip or vacation, we need someone to guard our place. I usually leave it to my maid or someone that i trust. But i realized that it wasn't enough at all. We cannot trust them 100 %. So what is the solution ? The solution is we need a company that offers home protection services. The company just needs to place the surveillance camera or CCTV at our house. The company doesn't need to place people inside the house, it can monitor the house from its office. So the people we trust and the company would complement each other to guard our place. In Service businesses, Customer Service ( CS ) has main roles in company 's success.
Why ? because what makes a service company success ? the customers, right ?
Who is the first person that are contacted by the customers, the customer service, right ?
If the customer service is not good, no customer would use the service of the company. So don't underestimate the role of customer service.

Tips on Customer Service :

choose the CS that has a good appearance and voice ( on the phone )
tell your CS to smile when answering the phone ( believe or not , smile is contagious even don't meet in person )

Today i went to 2007 Trubus 's Agro Expo in Purna Bhakti Pertiwi,TMII, Indonesia. I heard that we could invest in a plant called Anthurium. When i met him, i said in my heart, " too bad, i don't have any business in Chinese language course ". If i had, i could invite him and offered him a win win business solution. Recently i attended a free preview seminar about business in Jakarta. The speaker in that seminar told many stories about how people can make money without capital.
He told about how a businessman build an entire shopping center with only $1, how a businessman acquire a multi billion dollars business with almost no money down, how to build many houses with little money, and many more.
So to build a business, do we need capital ? yes of course, but from the seminar i know that we can get the capital from other parties, such as bank, seller, partners, etc. So capital is not a problem anymore.
What else do we need ?we need a business idea. How we can get a business idea ? we can get it by thinking. What is the cost of thinking ? it's free. Since it's free,so is it an easy task to come up with a good business idea ? not at all. So what is the solution ? what do we need ? we need a good education to get a good business idea.
How do we know that the business idea we got is a good one ? the characteristic of a good business idea is to have a win-win solution. What does it mean ? it means that the other parties win first then we win.
So the conclusion is that the capital is important but the business idea is more important. So what we must do is to have a good business idea first ,then get capital from other parties, and at the end we can make money.

I know it's difficult to decide whether we should do options seminars or just reading the text books. There are two main reasons why doing seminars is much better.

1. First reason : efficiency in time and cost.

Options seminars usually takes time three to four days maximum. Do you think how long it takes to read the text books by ourselves ? I think even a month, we couldn't finish it yet. Why ? because it takes time to search the text books and it's difficult to understand about options trading in a short period of time.
How much is the price of the good text books ? Do you think they are cheap ? yes, if you compare one book's price to the course fee but do you think we only need one book? I don't think so, we need many books. If you think we can borrow the books from the library, do you think the library provide many books about options trading ? I think that there are not many libraries that provide this kind of books.

2. Second reason : effectiveness

I think for beginners, it's very difficult to understand about options trading only by reading tons of books and remember books only taught about theories. So we need a guru that teach us about the theory and how to implement it in real world. So where we can find a guru ? of course in the seminars.

If the speaker shows his real accounts, do not overwhelmed by that. We should ask the speaker to show the accounts of his students. Why ? Because we just a beginner, how we could be compared to the speaker, we should be compared to the students (apple to apple).

3. Is the course suitable for beginners ?

How do we know ? We should ask if we will be taught about opening an account ? If yes then it's suitable for beginners.

4. If there will be a live trading session ?

Live trading session usually takes place at the end of the course.

5. How about the content of the course ?

What will be taught in the course ? Is it trading system or only trading strategy ?

6. Would there be a more advance course ?

If there would be then don't do the course ! Because usually the first course doesn't work then the speaker would tell that the more advance course will be better. Based on my experience the course is not good. If the first course doesn't work then the next or the more advance course 99.99 % doesn't work either.

7. What language that will be used in the course ?

Based on my experience, the courses that using English are better than those using local language. And don't do the courses that using English but will be translated into local language. Why ? Because it's takes time to translate the English so that the course time would be wasted.

8. How about after sales services ?

How about the support after the course is ended ? for example : forums or clubs, review session. Can we resit for free for the next course ?

9. Don't bother about money back guarantee.

Why ? Because usually it would be difficult to get our money back after the course. The speaker would say some excuses so don't choose a course because of it has guarantee.
