Wedding season is over for me this year... but contracts for 2009 are filling up fast! After my last wedding this month... I've been busy with family portraits (which I can't show because of Special presents for family members ; ) ... engagement sessions and meeting with future Brides & Grooms and their families for next year. I haven't been the best at blogging so here are some of my favorite photographs from taken in 2008! (*I'll keep adding to this photos to this post, so check back often!)

Thank you to Lisa and her family for braving the rain to come out and have their portrait session on Sunday... we were lucky to have the rain stop for the hour and a half we were out there and just as we were finishing up it started to rain again! Here's a sample from Sat;

Anthony & Christalyn's Engagement Session

Here's a some of my favorite photographs from Anthony & Christalyn's engagement session. They were taken by the lake near the Officers Club on Fort Jackson Army Base in Columbia, SC. Can't wait to see them both again in July... I know Anthony is praying that it'll be the coldest day in July that Columbia has ever had (I'll say a prayer to ; )

April 5th Wedding in Hilton Head Island

It was cloudy but there wasn't any rain until a little over an hour prior to the ceremony... it starts pouring! I felt horrible for Jennifer and John, but they were so great about it. Jennifer really wanted to have that beach ceremony that she has always dreamed of so as the rained started to let up a little bit we all made our way down to the beach. The ceremony was beautiful, rain and all... then when everyone left except for Jennifer, John, Ben and myself the rain stopped and she got to get some great photographs on the beach (without the umbrella) but I loved the umbrella!!!! Here's a couple from their day (more to come soon!)
*** I do have to say a special thanks to their wonderful friend Ben who was gracious enough to keep me and my camera dry.... So thanks Ben!!! I really appreciate you stepping up like that, contact me via e-mail, I want to personally say thank you and give you a photo credit!

April showers came a little early for Stacee & Scott!

Stacee and Scott was fortunate enough to have rain bless their March 29th wedding held at Wintergreen Woods in Lexington, SC but stop just an hour before the ceremony! The rain didn't seem to bother these two...they are so sweet and such a loving couple! Here's a couple of my favorites from their day.

Here's just a couple of my favorites from Garnett & Keicha's engagement Session taken in Camden, SC in front of and around the Robert Mills Courthouse then down Broad Street a little further... these two are crazy and so much fun to shoot... I can't wait to shoot their wedding 6-7-08 (The most sought after date of the year!!!!)

Here's a couple of my favorites from Jana & Greg's engagement session taken around the Robert Mills Court House and by their family's lake house (which was gorgeous!) in Camden, SC. I just loved the lake and the fall colors. Can't wait for their wedding on June 21st!

The minute I started talking about Trash the dress to Ashley she wanted to do it... at first she didn't want to mess up her dress (which is understandable) then after the wedding she just wanted great photographs! She was a lot of fun and very photogenic... I just love her!

Happy New Year!

January seemed to have come so quickly and now it's March! I am going to try and get caught up with everything and try to keep it up!

I have been busy (but that's a wonderful thing)!

Of course January is crazy busy booking wedding for 2008 after all the newly engaged couples from Christmas... and to all of you I say...

"Congratulations on your Engagement!!!"

I also had a wonderful session with the Hass Family that was celebrating their new family! They have four gorgeous, energetic little ones. I'm sure they never have a dull moment in their home. They were a lot of fun. Here are some portraits from that session;

November is National Adoption Month!

I am very proud to have been part of the South Carolina Heart Gallery and be an active member with Celebrate Adoption for National Adoption Month this year! I spent a day in Sumter and Florence photographing some amazing children that are up for adoption. The SC Heart Gallery will be exhibited in several locations, thanks to SCDSS Adoption Services;

These were taken on Folly Beach with the Frisby family. I had so much fun taking little Mr. Frisby's photos...he is just too cute! We were lucky to find few people on the beach and we had a great time even though the wind was uncontrollable (at least it wasn't raining!!!).

These are from Julie & Daryl's engagement session... It was extremely hot and humid that night, but they were great sports!
