Particularly, Antigoni Hotel, Iliada beach Hotel, Flora Apartments, and Silver Sands Beach Hotel changed faces :)

Dear Mr Terry, first I would like to thank you for your interest in Tsokkos Hotels and for choosing our hotels for your holiday.

Vrissiana Beach Hotel is a landmark of Protaras and for the Cyprus tourism industry. The complete transformation of Vrissiana is now on the final line and on the 1st of July, as I said on my previous post and as stated on our official website www.tsokkos.com, will welcome the firsts guests.

Summer it is here

Dear friends,

It is always a pleasure communicating with you, my valued friends and guests. I am very excited... Protaras and Ayia Napa are full of life and the temperature is perfect for sunbathing, swimming and holidaying at Tsokkos Hotels!

I am also very excited since the renovations at the Vrissiana Beach Hotel in Protaras is in great progress and we are running on the final line. If you visit Protaras you can see the spectacular work being done there (photo of Vrissiana sample room). Definitely you cannot miss Vrissiana by night. With its unique LED lights its a treat for the eyes, and emphasizes even more the ship-shape of the hotel. Once again we set the trends and more surprises will follow. I will keep you posted and I am waiting for your valuable comments.

Also, Silver Sands Beach Hotel in Protaras is upgrading. The lobby's refurbishment will finish by the end of July. Chic! That's how I can describe it. Moreover, Iliada Beach Hotel in Protaras undergoes some refurbishments and more emphasis is given in the guestsrooms. Both hotels are under study for a major renovation during the winter period. I can't wait to announce our plans.

I have just returned from a business trip from Berlin where I have attended at the ITB Exhibition. Our partners informed us about the tourism trends and got feedback on their market.

Vrissiana Beach Hotel and renovation plans

Hello everyone. This is Andreas Tsokkos. I just arrived from a business trip from Slovakia. An interesting country with culture and historical sites to sightsee, and great hotels.

Among my first priorities, now that I am back, is to review the progress at the Vrissiana Beach hotel in Protaras, which is under a complete transformation.

Tsokkos Hotels last June acquired this landmark hotel and it will undergo a full renovation and refurbishment, in order to reflect the Tsokkos Hotels quality and standards. The idea behind the renovation is to transform Vrissiana to a superior four star all year around hotel, appealing to families and couples of all ages. It will be a star choice for those seeking superb location, stylish accommodation, wide range of facilities, high quality service, sports, leisure and entertainment, and more important relaxation. Welcome to the exciting world of Tsokkos Hotel

Welcome to our world. It is with a great pleasure that I welcome you to my blog launch.

Blogging is a new development for my company colleagues, and myself too. I consider this as an opportunity to share my thoughts, ideas and vision with you, the most valued cooperators, my guests. For people that know me, and for the guests that met me would know that talking directly to you, is an everyday activity. Walking around the hotel, greeting guests with their first names and talking to all my staff, without hierarchical issues, is a usual routine. It is my way of dealing with managerial matters, and a proven path of success.

Tsokkos Hotels is a family run Cypriot company. The Group commenced its activities in the year of 1981. It had been engaged in land development since 1979. Initially, the main activity of the Group was the construction of hotel units in the Famagusta and Larnaca area which where rented to and operated by third parties.

In 1983, the Group changed its strategy and undertook the operation of its own hotel units. With the commencement of these activities the Group secured its first contracts with major overseas tour operators. The Company was converted into a Public Limited Company in January 2000 and was listed into the Cyprus Stock Exchange on November 1st 2000. Today is listed amongst the most valued and important companies in Cyprus, in the index FTSE 20.
