Seriously, this jacket? It is good someone in this household can afford such gems.

Also, this shirt is hers. The lace details make it so incredible.

It is just one of many hanging in her closet.

We've both been contemplating on what to wear to the fashion shows in the

coming weeks. I can wait to spend an evening with her digging through out closets to find

the perfect outfits for strolling the city together. ah!

I got everything up in the store!

I found some really incredible items the other day

including feather hair pieces, the most INCREDIBLE black exposed zipper dress

and the most insane navy blazer in the whole world.

new boots! oh, and they are wonderful.

they are quite possibly the most comfortable thing in my entire closet.

I can't get enough of them.

but big news!

Turns out I'll be in New York City for Fashion Week!!

What happened was my mom surpised me last night with tickets for an early 18th birthday present.

I literally started crying. It was so werid because I was looking up tickets to go the exact days she has planned!

They are smaller shows, all couture. I still can't believe I'm typing this...

anyways, if you all want to share the love and tell me where to be to shop, it's always appriciated!

first day on the job.

I spent yesterday with my mom doing some much needed retail therapy.

Nothing insane (minus a Chanel coat, oh my) but I did find this hat at h&m that I can't get enough of.

I just wish I could wear it for longer periods of time. It was in the low 70's this morning

and it got warmer as the day went on. oh well.

Today was my first day on the job! It went really well.

I wish I could say I wore something incredible for my first day to document,

but I wasn't really sure what was ahead of me so I played it safe with a basic skirt/top combo.

I did get to put on some incredible jewelry when I got there though.

It is actually required to wear the jewelry.

You can't even imagine...

ah, my first DIY piece.

another lazy day, so I decided to jump in the car and find

the materials to create a Givenchy inspired necklace.

I actually spent more time and money than I expected, but I kind of love it.

Now the question is, will I ever remember to wear it?

I need to find somewhere to wear it asap.

Maybe Wednesday I'll pair it with jean shorts, a white tank and my blazer.

SO excited to get the store up and running again.

I have recieved plenty of emails and what not asking if I plan to update more.

Well here is your answer! Hopefully by mid-week,

I should have photos done and items ready to list.

Depending on how these next items sell will determine wheather or not I keep the store.

Between 25 hour work weeks and school coming up, it may take up too much time.

So, it is safe to say things have been nuts since I've gotten back.There is so much to do to get settled back in my house.Top on my list was getting a job, though.and guess what? done and done.I got the call a few days ago saying I got the job working at the small chain called Francesca's. It is a gorgeous little storefilled with incredible jewelry and fun prints on dresses and shirts. I couldn't be more thrilled.

oh, and did anyone notice my blazer and shoes matching combo? the black and white details make them identical.my first reaction was "SICK! I love it!"

Another spontaneous buy today was this lace skirt.

I was interviewing for a job at a local boutique

and in the process found it helplessly hanging among other things.

Automatically, I thought of Prada's latest and knew I had to save it from its sale rack.

Well, I am back to the States and not too psyched about it.

I spent my morning working out at the gym (yes, all morning)

and then ran into target thinking I was just going to get bobby pins and face wash

but instead left with a bag full of skirts from the new GO! collection.

Great...just what I need...more debt.

My friend Heidi and I woke up at an insane hour to take these photos in the field behind the Villa in Italy.

I have been inspired recently to experiment more with my photography and plan on doing film from now on.

If you all are interested, I can scan the film and post it if I do anything interesting.

I have some good ideas in my head, so should be fun.

I feel like I've been so lazy with my wardrobe lately.

It has been above 95 degrees here lately, causing me to throw something light on.

But lack of creativity caused me to purchase these shoes.

When I walk around in them, they make me feel like I have the cutest little pair of monsters on my feet.

ehm, keep in mind that I walked the streets of Italy for 4 hours before these photos were taken, so don't mind my gross self. hah!

I spent the day downtown trying on 100 coats in

Zara and searching for a place for my friends to get their noses pierced.

Finally came back to the Villa and decided to climb

out a window with my friends and take photos.

Thought I'd post some photos of me actually giggling and smiling, which is much

more realistic than my usual photos. We were having so much fun!

Oh, and this new dress of mine. I have so many ideas for it, it almost makes my head hurt.

I'll have to wait until I'm back home with my full wardrobe!

This weekend was full of fun things.

The beach, new friends, and plenty of dancing.

I'm pretty much running on no sleep right now.

Alright, more "new purchases" exept its all jewelry.

The jewelry here in Italy is always stunning. Between the market place (have to be careful, it can be sketchy)

and little shops with hand made designs, I am always finding something I am convinced I have to have.

These are a few of my favorite finds.

I don't know where to begin with this next purchase.

These photos don't do it justice.

The cotton/linen blend is all to comfortable, the draping is incredible

and it makes everything look so chic.

It sort of does a cross thing in front and gets as long as my bandage mini in the back.

I can't wait to get home and try it on with my denim ripped up cut offs and boots.

So many possibilities!

It's safe to say I am running out of my hard earned money faster than I thought.

It is sales week where you can see "SALDI" signs hanging in EVERY store window.

Who can resist?

I've spent more hours in Zara sifting in picked through piles, but I've come up with some fun items.

One being this beaded white top. I actually picked it up just to try on over a skirt and decided I liked it more than the actual skirt I was trying on.

The other purchase is this amazing red and white button down from United Colors of Benetton.

I wore it the other day with the bandage mini- buttoned up, sleeves rolled, and tucked in.

It felt so effortless and chic.

For all of you who are marketing students or in fashion,

you will agree that the visual merchandising of this boutique in Venice

was incredible.

Something about a nice shade of blue and a crisp white top makes me giddy insane.

Also, the a photo of goodies I found in a local bakery.

I came across these shoes in a boutique today here in Firenze.

I NEED THEM.

Only problem is, they only had them in white and a size 36 (much too small for me)

So, I am going to ask all my beautiful readers if you have seen anything similar.

I would prefer them in black, or even a fun color like green or something.

Also, keep requests coming! You all are giving me some good ideas.

I picked it up at Zara this week and can't get enough of it.

The studs and black/gold combo remind me of Gucci Fall RTW 2008

so I went with natural hair with really dark eyes for going out last night.

I couldn't help but try to recreate this Stella McCartney look from her resort line.

I have similar pants, and now a white blazer. Too bad I walk about 10 miles every day so

the shoes on cobble stone streets probably wouldn't be a good idea.

Things have been insane since I got back from Rome.

Lots of late nights and tons of gelato.

Sounds silly, but really. I haven't gotten any good "outfit" shots or anything.

But I did get this gorgeous shot of this gypsy baby while in Rome.

The colors aren't as good because blogger tends to do that, but its something to look at, right?

Once again, tonight things should be up and running a bit more.
