One person who I met shared his experience in this conflict.

He contacted a person who he met in online classifieds. He also got one check to his home and the second one was on the way. Then luckily this happened to him.

Well you can see, " the package was forward to a government agency for further investigation" So this is what is going to happen if you don't know what you are dealing with. Then he called up the bank to find the status of the existing check. But the bank people told them that there is no check with the number and hence it has been concluded as a fake one.
