Mother nature really turned up the heat towards the end of last week in Phoenix. Then starting Sunday the humidity started to rolling in and made a miserable situation, that put our A/C units on overload. Sunday night our A/C went out in the house that lead us to staying at my mother-in-laws house. Monday morning I got into my work to find out the A/C was out in it. Then I decided I would stop at a Jack in the Box to cool off when I was on my route. When I walked in it was very hot in the restaurant and the employee said sorry about the heat but our A/C is out. I felt like I should apologized to her for being the A/C killer.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-4350886252970465129?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224844832389265145.post-62503369212459097222009-06-29T15:21:00.002-07:002009-06-29T15:30:04.456-07:00The 4 dollar date. This Sunday the wife and I went out for dinner and a movie. We have been accumulating gift cards from as long as 1 and 1/2 years ago. We don't have a lot time to go out and enjoy things like this. We went to Cheesecake factory and to see the proposal. The date night only cost 4 dollars after we used our gift cards.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-6250336921245909722?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224844832389265145.post-17146247237285882992009-06-27T16:22:00.002-07:002009-06-27T16:51:23.370-07:00Extremely busy time. The past couple of weeks have been extremely busy for me and I'm glad to be back to blogging. I have applied and interviewed for 3 new positions at my work and ended up getting 1 of them. I will not be starting it until August 1st but that will give me time to train the new guy coming into my position. I'm very excited that I will no longer be getting up at 2am. The new position will require me to get up around 5am or so which is still early but not 2am. I turned 30 on the 24Th and now I'm officially old. I'm preparing for the July 4Th holiday, my vacation which is coming very soon, and making sure all things are in order for the new guy to take over my route. So I guess I also have busy times ahead. That's my update for know, hope you all enjoy me talking about me, and keep visiting.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-1714624723728588299?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224844832389265145.post-57289438137322641732009-06-25T16:24:00.000-07:002009-06-27T16:39:56.244-07:00Wow, I'm 30.I have passed another milestone in my life and it is better then I ever could of imagined. When my parents turned 30 and I remembered thinking, what will my life be like when I'm 30. Will I have a house, a cool truck, will I be rich? These are the things that I thought would be important to have when I was 30. <div>It turns out I'm much luckier then the kid in me, wanted me to be. I have an amazing wife that is absolutely gorgeous, 2 beautiful little girls that are funnier then an comedian, and my health. What more could a 30 year old man ask for. I have some nice stuff, and a good job but that doesn't matter because with out my job and stuff I'm still the luckiest man I know. When I'm forty All I really want is my wife, my children, and my health. This is what a grown-up realizes is important.</div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-5728943813732264173?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224844832389265145.post-60683073686581610832009-06-20T17:55:00.002-07:002009-06-20T18:30:30.243-07:00Together forever.Today I once again, was amazed by <a href="http://www.google.com/">Google</a>. Today I ran into a problem with removing the rear drum to change the brakes on my 2002 Toyota Sienna. Normally they just come off when you loosen the brakes and remove the tire. I then started beating it with a hammer thinking this would break it loose. This also failed. I was thinking maybe this vehicle is different and I need to loosen a bolt or something. I washed the hands and headed to my computer to ask Google. As always she delivered the answer to my question. She sent me to a <a href="http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you_remove_rear_brake_drums_from_a_2002_Toyota_Sienna">site</a> that solved a problem I was working on for about an hour. 30 seconds after I read the solution I had the drums off. There so many search engines out there today, but me and Google are staying together forever. <div><br /></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-6068307368658161083?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224844832389265145.post-40376915044015324792009-06-08T17:23:00.002-07:002009-06-08T17:42:28.095-07:00Starting the Wii FitI officially love my <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Wii</span> more every day. Me and the wife received a <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Wii</span> fit as a combo gift from my parents for our B-Day's this month. I have done 2 workouts on it and I love it. It is fun exercise. I was getting very bored of the treadmill at the gym and have been looking for something new. I think I have found it in the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Wii</span> fit. I'm sure it will get old one day and I will be looking for my next challenge. That is when a new game for the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">Wii</span> balance board comes in. If I'm Lucky I will get the new <a href="http://www.punchout.com/">punch out</a> with the boxing gloves, and the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">Wii</span> fit Balance board is also compatible. I bet that is a crazy good work out.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-4037691504401532479?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224844832389265145.post-57817724984976451142009-06-04T17:15:00.002-07:002009-06-04T17:50:47.600-07:00The waiting game.I have always been a very impatient person. I want results and I want them now. I think that is why I love the Internet so much. It tells me what I want to know, when I ask it. This is also a reason I love being a salary employee and not hourly. I work hard and fast then go home, no clock watching. But when it takes time to get results I can't control. I hate it. <div>I interviewed for a new position in my company on Tuesday. They said they will let us know by Friday. The waiting is killing me. I will be ok if I don't get it I just want to know either way.</div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-5781772498497645114?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224844832389265145.post-75537083539432269432009-05-30T12:53:00.000-07:002009-05-30T12:53:00.348-07:00This is 401 and countingI have completed 400 posts on this website. The food will be waste hours later but the insoles will be 6 months of happy feet. <div>I'm sure many others do the same types thing. </div><div>Like sleep on a bad mattress, but go on a cruise ever year. Would it make sense to skip the cruise this year and have a nice place to spend 1/3 of your day everyday for the next 8 to 10 years?</div><div>Why do we consider things for ourselves too expensive or not important?</div><div><br /></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-4931786444550388284?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224844832389265145.post-34838462393500657832009-05-28T14:45:00.002-07:002009-05-28T14:45:00.899-07:00Are you gellin? This last weekend I purchased a new pair of shoes for work and I purchased insoles to go in them. I was trying to decided between the generic $8 insoles or the $12 insoles. I decided to splurge and spend the $12 and get the really nice ones. I purchased the Dr. Scholl's massaging gel insoles. I'm very happy with the purchase. I figure since I will be wearing my shoes 60 or so hours a week for at least 6 months, it was worth the $4 extra dollars. I would recommend giving your feet the treat of gel.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-3483846239350065783?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224844832389265145.post-61267350623633200702009-05-27T14:10:00.000-07:002009-05-27T14:10:00.600-07:00Don't Bullshit me!!!I have worked in sales for a good part of my career. So I can usually spot a person that is feeding me crap. Why is business so full of crap? I have always been honest with my customers and I expect the same in return. I know it is hard to believe, an honest salesman. Why is it that so many people lie to the customer to get them to buy a product? The customer will only change there mind about your product and never recommend it to anybody. Making your product a short term product. Why has greed made us question our values? Don't people understand that quality products have more value then lies and crap?<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-6126735062363320070?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224844832389265145.post-4534337143039827402009-05-26T13:53:00.001-07:002009-05-26T13:53:00.695-07:00Loving the WiiI know you can make all the jokes you want but I truly love my Wii. TI has all of the games I once loved and all the new things you could ask for. They just came out with <a href="http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=11077557">Punch-Out with Everlast boxing gloves</a>. One of the original Nintendo's greatest games. Little Mac is at it again fighting, Glass Joe and King Hippo along with all of the others from the original game. The great part of this game today is the Everlast boxing gloves and the fact that you are actually boxing instead of pushing buttons. The Wii rules because it gets you off of your fat ass and makes you sweat. I don't have this game but if you are look for something to get me for my B-Day on June 24Th this would be a good one. (hint hint)<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-453433714303982740?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224844832389265145.post-87371173093244709432009-05-25T13:30:00.005-07:002009-05-25T13:30:00.602-07:00Party's are different nowLast night we had some friends over for taco salad. It was a great time playing in the blow-up pool out back, and the sprinkler I had put in the trampoline. Then once it got dark we came inside and the men played a bowling tournament on the Wii. (I just wanted to point out that Jenna beat all of the guys in the last game, including Rob.) At the end of all the fun I was exhausted and ready for bed. I laid in bed and started to think about the party's before children and how different they were. My friends aren't getting trashed and getting naked for no reason any more. The only nudity last night was under the age of 4 from a diaper malfunction in the trampoline. It's not a bad thing just different.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-8737117309324470943?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224844832389265145.post-47553822436735529192009-05-24T13:09:00.004-07:002009-05-24T13:18:47.048-07:00Not worth the Suck.I'm sure I have done this rant before but hear it comes again. A day off doesn't mean less work, it actually means more work in less days for me. Working in the beer industry for almost 10 years now I have grown to hate holidays. I get 1 day off, for 2 -3 weeks of hell. How does this add up? I would much rather work the holiday and just get payed then have 2-3 weeks of hell for a day off.<div>I have work a lot more then an extra 8 hours in the past 2 weeks. </div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-4755382243673552919?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224844832389265145.post-22445069917494450672009-05-19T03:28:00.001-07:002009-05-24T13:52:59.386-07:00Looking for some feedback. What do you think of these products? She comes running into my room and wakes me up saying "dad quick wake up football is on". It turned out to be some highlights they were showing on the news from last season because they were talking about the NFL draft that had happened a couple weeks ago. She was very disappointed that football was not on. She said to me "dad when is football going to start. I really need some football". Did I mention she is only 5 and already a huge football fan. <div>I never had a son to pass things onto, but I think I might be build the perfect womon. I have always thought the class was dumb, but figured I would give it a try. I was surprised that I lasted the entire hour. The work out was pretty intense and once I got past the 35 minute mark it was much easier. If you have ever done this class you already know that my butt is in pain. I would recommend the class and will do it again when the soreness goes away.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-705635656968950903?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224844832389265145.post-37752226647395019502009-05-13T14:27:00.003-07:002009-05-13T17:26:28.949-07:00Crazy or Happy?I'm sure every city, and possible every area of town has the crazy person dancing and singing at the bus stop. I see this lady every week dancing up a storm, and singing at the top of her lungs at the bus stop at 7am. I have always thought that lady is super crazy. Today looking at her smiling, dancing, and singing I thought the same thing "That lady is so nuts". Being in a truck all by yourself will lead to thinking and that's just what I did. I wondered, Where is she taking the bus to? Where does she live? Does she love or hate her job? Does she even have a job? What is she so damn happy about? <div>I have been called crazy when I'm having fun and just enjoying life. I have also been called crazy for wanting to be spontaneous. So is crazy just being yourself and enjoying life, or is it a serious mental thing. I think it's fun to be crazy sometimes.</div><div>So, is she crazy or just happy?</div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-3775222664739501950?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224844832389265145.post-36188914443295163572009-05-11T15:36:00.003-07:002009-05-11T16:16:11.368-07:00Mothersday cooking adventure.Me and the wife went on an cooking adventure on Sunday and used our family as guinea pigs. I have never had Cornish game hens before and have definitely never cooked them before. This Sunday I cooked 10 Cornish game hens, that turned out really well. Not to bad for a first timer. <div>We marinated them in a homemade sauce for about 4 hours then cooked them on cedar planks out on the grill for about an hour on low heat. Me and the wife make a great team.</div><div>Some pictures of the mothers day dinner below.</div><div><a href="http://twitpic.com/4xoh1">http://twitpic.com/4xoh1</a><br /></div><div><a href="http://twitpic.com/4xwms">http://twitpic.com/4xwms</a><br /></div><div><a href="http://twitpic.com/4xoh1">http://twitpic.com/4xoh1</a><br /></div><div><a href="http://twitpic.com/4y4z5">http://twitpic.com/4y4z5</a><br /></div><div><br /></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-3618891444329516357?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224844832389265145.post-66807934197196953802009-05-07T13:44:00.002-07:002009-05-07T13:52:25.830-07:00Information overload.I have been on the computer a lot lately with no time to blog. I have been working very hard to learn as much as possible as quickly as possible. I am really enjoying learning HTML and can't wait to build my first web site. I still have a lot to learn but it is coming along really well. I have actually started to dream about code in my sleep. This has lead me to believe I have information overload and need a little time off to absorb what I have learned. I will be back to the learning in a few days and hope to finish my HTML cheat sheet that I'm putting together. I will post it when it is complete.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-6680793419719695380?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224844832389265145.post-18354599208452222692009-05-04T13:21:00.002-07:002009-05-04T13:30:57.173-07:00A very productive weekend. This weekend was very busy. I built a <a href="http://twitpic.com/4eyne">wall in the back yard</a>, mowed, pulled weeds, built some simple web pages for all my domains, helped my grandparents purchase satellite radio and installed it, then went to dinner with the wife and some friends at <a href="http://voguebistro.com/">Vogue Bistro</a>. I did all of that on Saturday. I was happy with what I did on Saturday, so I was lazy on Sunday. But I did more on Saturday then I have done in a month.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-1835459920845222269?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224844832389265145.post-55992151209778641522009-04-30T10:13:00.000-07:002009-04-30T10:13:01.073-07:005 weeks nowI have officially gone to church for 5 weeks straight now. I have tried 3 different churches in this time and ended up enjoying <a href="http://www.radiantchurch.com/">Radiant Church</a> the best. <div>I'm not sure on where I stand on the whole God and Jesus thing but I'm looking into it. I have never been a church goer. I have been talked into going, now and again. I have never looked into it on my own terms until now.</div><div>The shocking thing I have come across, is that every church is different. No matter what they believe. I went to 3 different church's and they all had a different feel. They all talked about the same thing, but all have a completely different way of telling it.</div><div><a href="http://www.radiantchurch.com/">Radiant Church</a> is my favorite. I really enjoy the life lesson every week. It's a great modern day lesson I understand, without being a practicing Christian. That alone makes me more interested in the church, and the whole thing that it is built on. I'm not sure if this will stick or if I will just drift out of it again. All I know is that right now, it is pretty cool. </div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-5599215120977864152?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224844832389265145.post-33360948676968100622009-04-28T16:42:00.000-07:002009-04-28T16:42:00.429-07:00HTML RULES!!!!I have become very obsessed with writing website code. I love it! I'm not sure what it is about. It really makes me excited when I write out a bunch of code and create something amazing. It is truly like learning a new language. With the encouragement of my cousin <a href="http://www.mercurystate.com">(Merc)</a> and <a href="http://www.htmldog.com">HTML dog</a>. I'm on my way to this new exciting adventure. I'm still doing the beginner tutorials but I have also purchased 3 books. That's how serious I am, I'm reading books.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-3336094867696810062?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224844832389265145.post-80191145850686496172009-04-27T13:18:00.000-07:002009-04-27T16:42:01.208-07:00Eulogy - Me, Dead, Tomorrow.I changed my mind and only did 2 of the 4 groups of people. I noticed things got very repetitive in the 3 and 4Th group. This one is going to be the weirdest, since I will be speaking at my funeral.<div><div style="text-align: center;">Wow!!! this sucks, I'm dead. <br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">So many things I hope I did. You don't ever expect to die, and you always think you will have time to do it tomorrow. I hope my family, knows how much I love them. I hope that everybody knows how much I care about them. I hope that people are inspired by me to be great. I hope my children know how much I loved them and never forget me. </div><div style="text-align: left;">(In a panicky voice)</div><div style="text-align: left;">Did I let my wife know how much I loved her?</div><div style="text-align: left;">Do my parents know how much I appreciated them?</div><div style="text-align: left;">Does my sister know that my criticism was out of love?</div><div style="text-align: left;">Did I let the people that inspired me know how they changed my life?</div><div style="text-align: left;">I know that sometimes I got wrapped up in the thick of thin things. I wish I would of spent more quality time with my family, and less time doing things that are not urgent or important. Sometimes things like a TV show became more important and it wasn't. I didn't work too much but I was always very busy, too busy to be everything I wanted to be. I wish I would of been a better father, husband, friend, family member. <br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Life is too short to be wishing, so I'm going to start doing. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div><br /></div></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-8019114585068649617?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224844832389265145.post-72605852293536386122009-04-23T13:34:00.001-07:002009-04-23T13:34:00.633-07:00Eulogy - FamilyStephen was a family man. He loved unconditionally and always did his best to help his family. He was always honest. We all learned if we didn't want to hear the truthful reality of something, we didn't ask him. His girls Kristina, Jenna and Mikayla were the light of his life. Every choice he made, he made it with them in mind. Stephen always did things whole heartily, and always had the best of intentions. Stephen's smile and laughter always brought great joy to all family gatherings. He always worked hard, played hard, and did his best to live life to the fullest. <div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4224844832389265145-7260585229353638612?l=www.mitchellsbrain.com%2Fsmm'/></div>mitchellsbrainhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06641418328782281354noreply@blogger.com0
