A Red Carpet Premiere for MovieNews!!!

It's been a couple of weeks of ago when I asked blogger-mate friend Richie of Idiot Box to join me in my quest to have a movie website which can cover everything about movies. He immediately said yes, because I am such a person having some good sales talk abilities! Nyahahha...

It is my dream of having of having my own domain. I can't purchase one, I don't have the money. Hehehe... But another blogger friend trusted me with his domain name and I said, "Oh yes! It is my honor to have that domain name and I am willing to serve you master..." I love you, dude! You know who you are! Aaaaww!

And finally, www.MovieNews.me is born once again! But why once again? MovieNews.me is the successor of the former MovieNews.me format. I am a fan of that website a few months ago. I never knew that one day, the website will now be managed by me and richie. Wahehehehe...

And so, our quest to makeover MovieNews.me had begun. I have searched a very competitive template. A few days later, Richie and I talked about how I wanted the website will be. I have a vision on that one! Hehehe... I asked for Richie's expertise on tweaking adsense (which by the way I found really stubborn-y to do! hahaha!), agreed on some things, and tweaked some more to have our website to have that wordpress-feeling even though it is hosted on blogger.com (yeah... I am a fan of blogger.com!). And so, MovieNews.me is reborn!

Finally, I told him, "hey, I wanted a grand launching on December 1 for our website... are we ready for the big gala red carpet premiere? (ambitious! hahahaa)" And so, here I am blogging about our newly created website!!! Woohoo!

ABS-CBN's "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo" Trailer, Cast and Information!

After the phenomenal success of ABS-CBN hit teleserye "Tayong Dalawa", the premiere quality drama maker network is set to have another hit teleserye in the making with its new lined up show, "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo" (If We Part Ways) in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Philippine Soap Opera. "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo" is all geared up with superbankable stars of ABS-CBN. It is also a comebacking teleserye and a reunion television series of some familiar artists casted in Tayong Dalawa.

"Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo" is lead by Ms. Kris Aquino whom last TV series was the horror-suspense drama "Patayin Sa Sindak si Barbara". The series also stars the country's most favorite loveteam, Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson. Gabby Concepcion of "Dahil May Isang Ikaw" [There Is Only (One) You] and Albert Martinez of "May Bukas Pa" [There's Still (Hope for) Tomorrow] are also casted in this series, so we might expect that "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo" is set to be shown early next year after the ending of the two said television drama series sometime in late-January to mid-February of 2010.

The most-loved character of Ms. Gina Pareño as Lola Getz is not really backed on primetime, but the Ms. Gina Pareño is back to another character that we will surely love or hate, whichever comes first. Ms. Pareño will play the role of Albert Martinez' mother. If the KIMERALDS and Lola Getz' reunion is not enough, Ramon aka Coco Martin is also casted in this upcoming drama who will be the son of Albert Martinez' character. Meanwhile, Jacklyn Jose is also reunited with "Nagsimula Sa Puso" (It Started from the Heart) co-star Coco Martin.

"Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo" is supposed to be the comeback television series of Robin Padilla as a Kapamilya. But things did not push through. Maricar Reyes, on the other hand, becomes one of the favorites of ABS-CBN as she is also casted in this upcoming drama. A newcomer girl who plays the character "Alicia" is also casted here, ~~whom as of this press time, I still have no idea who she is~~ who is none other than the sister of Ryan and Geoff Eigenmann, Maxine Eigenmann. Hahaha...

"Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo" Story Information

Kris Aquino will play the second wife of Albert Martinez who has a first ambitious wife to be played by Ms. Jacklyn Jose who has a son in who does not want to share anything. Coco Martin plays Jacklyn Jose's son, who once again is a bad character role for Coco Martin. Gabby Concepcion on the other hand, plays the role of a man who Kris Aquino's character truly loved but they have to be separated somehow during the show for a reason I still don't know.

Meanwhile, Ms. Gina Pareño plays the role of Albert Martinez' character who really loves her son so much, she will do anything to keep that love alive. I am guessing Albert Martinez is a mama's boy here, he is a weakling inside.

Maricar Reyes plays the role of Gabby Concepcion's character. A querida in the making, perhaps a homewrecker. She loves Gabby Concepcion so much, but Gabby Concepcion's character loves Kris Aquino's.

Gerald Anderson plays the role of Gabby Concepcion's son. She will meet Kim Chiu's character as the story progresses. But Gerald Anderson's character is somehow committed to ~~a girl named Alicia (whom I still don't know the name of the artist is)~~ Maxine Eigenmann. Both Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson's character will fall in love to each other no matter what the ~~girl named Alicia~~ Maxine Eigenmann will do.

Ang teleseryeng lalabag sa batas ng pagmamahal (The drama series that will break the law/rule of love). I am guessing that Gabby Concepcion's role here is something that deals with the armed forces and Albert Martinez' role has something to do with politics. Gerald Anderson said in the trailer (video below) that his dad is his idol. So, I am also guessing that Gerald Anderson's character will also something to do with the military. Perhaps a junior police or something.

I have been watching the American Comedy TV Series "The Big Bang Theory" these past few months, and I must say, I am very much satisfied with what I am seeing on this very intelligent TV sitcom. These past few months of watching got me really hooked and I think I am getting addicted to this geeky series in the US, which by the way being shown on Philippine shores via Jack TV. I never had a chance to watch it on television, but I had watched a few episodes of The Big Bang Theory online for free.

For those who have not known or unfamiliar with this American TV series, The Big Bang Theory is an American sitcom produced by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, makers of the another hit American TV sitcom, "Two and a Half Men" (love it, too!).

Sheldon, Leonard, Penny, Howard and Rajesh

The Big Bang Theory show concerns two geeky physicists named Sheldon (theoretical physicist) and Leonard (experimental physicist) who live next door in an apartment to neighbor Penny, a waitress and a struggling actress who is not gifted with the same level of intelligence as the two. To complete the cast, two geeky friends of Sheldon and Leonard are also included namely, Howard (an engineer), and Rajesh (an astrophysicist). Together, they form the wacky and intelligent group of the American TV sitcom group cast members of The Big Bang Theory.

If you are a fan to this American sitcom just like me, you might can relate to these 20 signs that tell you are addicted to "The Big Bang Theory" American TV sitcom series that I made. How to increase Twitter Followers... the evil way!

It was just a couple weeks ago when the good doctor, the ladies' man and friend, Zorlone was asking me how will he able to increase his then twitter account's followers 397 number count to make it to a close 400 or even surpass it without getting any effort of attracting potential twitter followers. In his situation, it is really hard to attract a follower because @Zorlone's genre as a blogger goes a little bit out of the way for most bloggers. If you will visit his website, you will see poems, yes because our good doctor and the ladies' man is a poet at heart!

How to increase twitter followers

So here's the thing, I let Zorlone do an experiment which I did (and still do) with my twitter account (@yatotchronicles). I am very sure once you have known this little experiment of mine, your twitter account's followers will boosts like crazy!!! It is a very cool experiment with guaranteed results of increasing your twitter followers! This is your chance to know the secret in increasing your twitter followers.. the evil way! Bwaahahahhaa... (why am I hearing the evil Igor at my back...?) Just follow the step by step guides below! Aaawww! Muuaaahhhhahahaha...

• For you to increase your twitter followers, you must first enable the email alert of your twitter account. This has nothing to do with the 'real' experiment really, but this is just a matter of seeing how many twitter users has already following you. So to do the enabling of the email alert, you must:

~ Login to your twitter account;
~ Click on Settings (located at the upper right corner), then Notices;
~ Click on the "New Follower Emails" then save.

Is that easy or what?

• Now, here's the second phase of our little experiment on how to increase your twitter followers the evil way!!! Bwahahahhaa (thunders and lightnings at the background...)

~ Click on 'Home' of your twitter account;
~ On the space provided for every tweets... type anything you like... but here's the twist... for every tweets you make, always put the keywords: "Affiliate Marketing" OR "Internet Marketing"... click on update and your done!!!

• The third phase will be the observation process. Open your email account (the one you put to receive email alerts from twitter). Wait for a few minutes, say 30 minutes will do and observe the incoming email alerts from twitter saying that @name is now following you on twitter! nyahahha...

Now, is that evil or what? Of course, I don't recommend doing this experiment on a daily basis because like people, twitter followers come and go... especially when we are talking about "affiliate marketing" or "Internet Marketing" tweetpeeps (people using twitter), you know!

If you are just for the fun of seeing your twitter followers to increase then you may do so... Just a reminder kids... most "affiliate marketing" and "Internet Marketing" tweetpeeps are twitter spammers... so be careful with who you follow... And as for me... I don't follow back! Another evil plan... hahahha!!!

ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID 2009 — Bro, Ikaw ang Star ng Pasko!

It's been a yearly tradition to all Kapamilya Network fans out there to look forward to the ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID as part of ABS-CBN's continuing service to give quality service to the Filipinos. It's been so many years since ABS-CBN started this yearly tradition of showing their biggest and brightest stars on their Christmas Station ID. The ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID also signifies the start of the Christmas season for ABS-CBN and their stars loyalty to the network.

This year's ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID theme features the most-loved character in their most successful teleserye so far, the "May Bukas Pa". Entitled, "Bro, Ikaw ang Star ng Pasko" (Bro, You Are the Star this Christmas), this year's ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID is a music video type of station ID. The ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID features all of the bankable stars of ABS-CBN singing their Christmas theme song, "Star ng Pasko" as written by Robert G. Labayen and music by Marcus and Amber Davis.

The ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID music video is inspired by the helping hands of the Filipino in this year's two of most destructive nature's wrath — the typhoon Ondoy and typhoon Pepeng. I simply love it.

Yet again, watching the ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID last night gave me goosebumps while feeling the lyrics of the song. It's simply beautiful, very touching, and very heartwarming.

I just noticed just a few things on this year's ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID regarding their artists. Here are some of them:

• We know that Dina Bonnevie's character, Malena, in the hit teleserye "May Bukas Pa" was already killed, but I didn't expect her not to show in the ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID. Hmmm... I wonder what has happened to her. Helen Gamboa is there, yet her character in the recently concluded teleserye, "Tayong Dalawa" has long been killed. Anyway, moving on...

• Kris Aquino is not shown in the ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID maybe because this year's theme is colored red and white. If you can remember, Kris Aquino promised to wear black until January 2010. This must be the reason or perhaps, she is just busy and doesn't want to be accused of early politicking for her brother. Good move, Ms. Kris Aquino!

• As per pinoygossipboy's blog entry, Claudine Barretto is not shown in the ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID. Maybe she and sister Gretchen Barretto are just busy filming their next teleserye project.

• Another good point that pinoygossipboy had pointed out the appearance of each ABS-CBN bankable stars can give a hint to their next television project. You may read pinoygossipboy's thoughts here.

• It is earlier reported that Aga Muhlach will be leaving ABS-CBN for a game show on the rival network, GMA 7. But Aga Muhlach is seen in the ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID.

• Zaijian Jaranilla aka Santino is seen beside ABS-CBN President and COO Ms. Charo Santos-Concio, not along with the other ABS-CBN child stars like Sharlene San Pedro, Nash Aguas, etc... whoa! Big time kid!

• Dolphy is still there, Susan Roces is still there, Nova Villa is still there and Gloria Romero is still there. I haven't seen Cesar Montano, maybe because he will run for a governatorial slot next year. Again, must not be accused of early politicking.

• And of course, finally but definitely not the least... Oh, I am so biased... Judy Ann Santos is there and the last... which makes her a very important ABS-CBN prized possession! Hail Judaismo! Nyahahhaa...

Kätlin of Big Brother Finland for Big Brother Swap! Who's for Pinoy Big Brother?

Last night on Pinoy Big Brother (PBB), it was revealed that Big Brother Finland will participate in a housemate swap with a housemate from the Philippines. Just this morning, fresh from Big Brother Finland (BBF), I received a news that a housemate named Kätlin, 22 years old from Estonia is the one BBF's Kuya (Tagalog term for big brother) has chosen. Kätlin is excited when big brother had told her that she is going to the Philippines but she has no idea where or what country is the Philippines like. Now, with the news that Kätlin of Big Brother Finland is going to the Philippines, who do you think among the housemates will participate in this yet another Big Brother monumental housemate swapping event? Just read the update above for the answer! Hehehe...

I am betting the housemate that will participate in the Big Brother Swap is either one from Paul Jake, Tom, Patrick or Hermes! I have to choose four because they are my bet. And why male housemates only? Well... there are reasons and they are:

1. Some of the female housemates from Pinoy Big Brother house are bitches. You don't want to have a bitch as a representative from our country, do you?
2. It will be remembered that from Pinoy Big Brother season 2, it was Bruce, who was introduced to Slovenian Big Brother Swapping event, right? And the other housemate from Slovenia was a female, right? So, a if there is a female housemate coming, most probably, male housemate from the Pinoy Big Brother house will most likely to leave.
3. (You provide for number 3! Hehehe...)

So there... I am betting for one of the four above-mentioned names of Pinoy Big Brother Double Up housemates... Who is your bet housemate that will go to Big Brother Finland? But I have nothing to argue about Cathy... I think Kuya has made the right decision!

Amazing how we can see how the universe looks like as viewed here on Earth from thousands of light years away. Thanks to the Hubble Telescope, fantastic images of the universe which are millions of years ago are now possible for us to see.

Some years ago, the Hubble Telescope was destroyed. Now that it is fully repaired by our space engineers, NASA's Hubble Telescope seems like a very new space telescope because of the great functionality it now gives to our astronauts. "Tayong Dalawa" (The Two of Us) is nearing its end... and the teleserye has not yet stopped from giving us juicy scenes everyday... Last night's episode was the second part of Jay-R (Gerald Anderson) and Audrey's (Kim Chiu) wedding. The reception scene was really fantastic, especially when Dave (Jake Cuenca) finally showed up and emotionally tortures himself that he wishes he was in Jay-R's shoes that night dancing with Audrey. The pathetic loser, why did he let go of Audrey, right?

But that wasn't the highlight of last night's episode of Tayong Dalawa! The highlight of the September 07, 2009 episode of Tayong Dalawa was the love scene of Jay-R and Audrey, which you can see the video below! The love scene was really intimate, but still done artistically and without the malicious whatsoever thing you can think of. What can we do? It's their honeymoon, right?

I can say that both of the actors, Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson's performance in this intimate, artistically-done love scene was really fantastic. Having a love scene was really a talk-of-the-town these days. But I must give the credit to Tayong Dalawa makers for giving us a very mature Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson. "The Biggest Loser" Asia Audition Held, Pinoys Participated!

"The Biggest Loser" is a popular reality competition in the US where a group of oversized people is locked together in a training camp slash house where they are encouraged to lose weight to get the grand prize money. I saw this video on the news yesterday where "big" people lined up to audition in the first ever Asian Edition of "The Biggest Loser". See the video after the jump.

"The Biggest Loser: Asia" is set to have a grand prize money of USD $100,000 or 5 million pesos (Php5 million). In the audition video below, we can see celebrities such as Eat Bulaga host, Ruby Rodriguez and actor Ryan Yllana, both GMA-7 talents auditioned in the said competition. There is no confirmed report yet whether ABS-CBN has gotten the rights to air "The Biggest Loser: Asia". But the Hallmark Channel will definitely air this, so better check out your cable operator's channel listings. Auditions for Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines are already closed.

Watch Senator Mar Roxas' withdrawal of candidacy!

I haven't watch the whole news yesterday when it broke out that Senator Mar Roxas has withdrawn his candidacy for whatever position he desired in the government, which was most probably the position for being the President of the Philippines. From the very start, I know Senator Mar Roxas will make it on top for being a clean senator, he would surely prevail as the president of our country.

But that's just it. The news broke out yesterday and I was a bit sad. He could have a good, if not a better president than what we have today. But still I am very hopeful for our country. Senator Mar Roxas might have withdrawn his candidacy, but he is supporting another good and clean senator, Senator Noynoy Aquino. Based from Senator Noynoy Aquino's track record, he has never been involved in any controversy in the government, which is good for a would-be president.

Kris Aquino, Senator Noynoy's youngest sister and a big celebrity in the Philippines even said that his brother only spent what a Senator of the Philippines must be spending and that's his only income. Talk about good governance, I guess, Senator Noynoy Aquino is THE better alternative! Now, that I am a registered voter, Senator Noynoy Aquino will surely have my support! That's a promise! So please, better make up your mind so that everybody will be happy and hopeful at the same time! It's been years since we had one!

Here's my dilemma. I am currently working on this online science article needed for work and the research papers that I am reading right now mentioned "jet streams" for some reasons that should be included in the study. I did study jet streams when I was in college but the thing is, that knowledge that was imparted to me was so gone already, I must read something to refresh my concepts of jet streams.

What's new on our favorite korean girl band, 2NE1? Well, apparently, Park Bom, Minzy, Sandara Park and CL upgraded themselves and made an unplugged version of their latest hit single "I Don't Care"! Now, this one's really made a wow on every 2NE1 fans out there. I kinda like this version better than the original song. The reggae beat of this version is really something that my ears can listen to this song very often!

You know how I liked the R&B version of Super Junior's "Sorry, Sorry", right? Well... this new version of 2NE1's hit single "I Don't Care" has stepped up to the pedestal level of versions because I like it so much! "Boys Over Flowers" lady protagonist, Goo Hye Sun (Geum Jan Di) and "Full House" main leading man, Rain team up in this cute commercial film (CF) of the bread maker Tous Les Jours in Korea. The theme song of the CF was sang by Goo Hye Sun and Rain.

In the CF, you can see a very small Goo Hye Sun and Rain mixing flour and decorating bread, rolling eggs and the like. The whole place is composed of overgrown baking goodies, ingredients and kitchen equipment. But of course, these are all computer graphics technologies! Hehehe. NEWS FLASH: Some inside (not-so) juicy scoops on the 2009 Influential Bloggers Awards Awards!

Hold your horses now, because you haven't read it all! Yes! Apparently, our juicy spies has done it again! Although it has been more than a week now since the Emerging Influential Blog Awards of 2009 Awarding Ceremony Night, the juicy inside gossips and details before, during and after the event were somehow listed below. But don't expect too much because everything might be all a make-believe write up! Hahahaha!

Before the event:

• It was August 8, the morning before the event. Doc Z, texted me to hurry up because our blogger friend Jan Geronimo was waiting for our arrival somewhere. I said yes, we agreed to meet at 1:30 PM. Prior this, Jan and Doc Z had an exchange of text messages and agreed to meet after lunch. I did not know that Jan's lunch was 10:30 AM. He texted Doc Z at the agreed meeting place at 12:00 NN. Suddenly, I felt stressed out.

• Doc Z texted me to hurry up because Jan was having a hard time waiting for us. He was waiting for almost two hours when we arrived at 1:30 PM. As I said before, who eats lunch at 10:30 AM? Hahaha...

• Finally, we met Jan along the highway. All blackened with dirt and pollution. Okay I was kidding. Hehehe. Jan seated at the back of the pick-up that was our ride for that day. I was sitting on the passenger's seat. Obviously, Doc Z was driving. Traffic.

• On our way to Mall of Asia for the first meet-up with the other bloggers, I toured Jan to the sight of Manila, although the site was really not that beautiful, seeing the Smokey Mountain was a hideous experience, believe me, I tried.

• I was surprised to find out that Jan actually arrived here in Manila on a door-to-door basis! Meaning, he was shipped inside a box! Amazing... O_O

• Mall of Asia. We were the first group to arrive to our first pit stop before the event. Time check: 2:00 PM. As they say, early bird catches the early worms, yes, it's true... however, we caught dinoflagellates and amoeba from Manila Bay's illnesses factory!

• Thirty minutes or so had passed a new set of bloggers came. They come in twos, sometimes in ones, after a few more hours a new breed of bloggers was born. Presenting the Influenza Bloggers:

During the event:

• And so, after that chit-chats in the Mall of Asia, we headed straight to the venue at PAGCOR's Casino Filipino in Parañaque.

• Registration. There were a bunch of beautiful ladies at the reception area where the registration was held. Stop. Wait. Register. Were the usual scenario during the registration. But no... lo and behold... Doc Z was doing something else... she was actually talking to the lady receptionist!!! His first attempt after several years of abstinence!

• I finally met Batang Yagit on the hallway. Nice meeting you, Wins!

• The inside of PAGCOR was a huge place for Ca**** lovers... I was amazed by the looks of it! The plenary hall where the event was held was different. Cozy and sophisticated. I never saw a hall with such playing card table where I mock play Lucky nine... and there were also some slot machines! Hahahha...

• Each blogger said their names and their blogs or websites. I said I was blogging at walangpambilingdomain.com.

• We sat near the buffet table. How was that for table location? Hahaha...

• I finally meet Ms. Janette Toral... she was shocked upon seeing me... (people always do that to me.. I wonder why? Hahahha... even the influenza bloggers did that! aaaww!). Of course I congratulated her for a job well done!

• Eating time.

• After the eating time, the program started. But before that, I went to the comfort room to find out that there is a supply of A-String-O-Sol mouthwash and alcohol! Where on earth can you find a supply of mouthwash and alcohol inside a bathroom? Aaahhh... "Iba-blog ko 'to (I will blog this) was the only thing I said. Wahahhaha...

I only drank a mug and a half... Sorry guys, I am not into drinking beer... I am more of a wine person... Hahahha...

• We sang our hearts out to the bar's videoke lounge upstairs. Some of us agreed to sing because our throat was really on the itch to do a song number. Wahahaha. Here are some of the songs that was sang with their respective singer:

Completing the attendance were:

Novs of ceblogger.com and Boni of thirdworldgeek. Both of them played billiards. Kill joy people! hahahhah!

We finished our sessions at 3:00 in the morning. But if you think we are already done with it, you are wrong!!! We went to a 24-hour restaurant (without Angel this time) to eat (or drink) soup... a tradition of Visayan beer drinkers. Now that's a trivia! Hahaha! Lyle said that most Visayan beer drinkers look for soups or soup-based dish I think this is become a bit sober. There might no scientific basis on that, but I actually ate an authentic La Paz Batchoy! The 24-hour restaurant is located somewhere in Makati.

Finally, we went home and separated our ways. Doc Z, Lyle and I went straight to Doc Z's house, which has a big LCD TV from Dubai (wahehhehe, sorry I have to mention that) and a very cozy place. It was already 5:00 AM when we reached Doc Z's humble abode. I went home at 7:00 AM. Whew! That's it! My fingers are so freaking tired of typing! This was a very long blog entry! Hahahha... See yah until the next eyeball!

Finally, the long-wait is over! I know, people who read my blog are waiting for this one! My Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs of 2009. Who among the newbie bloggers are included in my top ten list? Well... all I can say is that, all of them included in my list deserves my vote. So, without further ado, here are my Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs of 2009 in random order! But before that some background story.

It really took me a lot of time thinking who among the newbie bloggers this year should be included in my top ten list. That's why I decided not to write anymore and I planned not to join in this voting. Aside from super schedule from work, I can't really find time to think and write at the same time for my top ten list. But then again, I said, my vote still counts. So, here they are, my top ten influential blogs of 2009.

My Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs of 2009

• Jan Geronimo of Writing to Exhale From a newbie blogger who owns the now defunct Sa Labas ng Mandaluyong where he posted his craziness antics to a more serious everyday life blogger/writer he has become, Jan Geronimo deserves the right to have a spot in my top ten list.

• Doc Lorenzo of Zorlone Who would have thought that a doctor can write poems? The profession is not just right, isn't it? Well, think again! Doc Z's poems are one-of-a-kind and full of human emotions! If you do not believe me, you may go to the link provided and check them out! Truly rocks!

• Jehzlau and Company of Patay Gutom Jehzlau's another website project also deserves a spot in my top ten list. Talk about food blogging to the journalistic power... TnL is a humor blog for those who has the supreme intelligence in understanding a person's humor! I have that one, so I follow them! LOLS!

• Richie M. of Idiot Box Richie's Idiot Box blog is your online TV guide. He blogs about Philippine television happenings and write about his views on a particular TV show. But then again, his reviews are not just a review, it has something that you and I can actually agree. His opinions are good enough to convince me that this guy is a couch potato in his past life!

• Deejay of Good Times Manila News reportage has not been this so satiric and funny at the same time before. In his blog, you can see famous people and celebrities and different personalities being reported in an exaggerated and not so true manner, it made my bone tickled somehow. Saving grace is Miriam Defensor Santiago! Hahaha...!

• Kelvin of Kelvinonian Ideas 2.0 What is the product of a young man and a high-tech camera? Beautiful pictures of course! Kelvin's photographs are really stunning... coming from a youngster like him, the photographs that he posted on his blog are truly amazing! You may check them out if you want to see what am I talking about! hehehe...

• Roy of The Struggling Blogger Roy's blog is not a blog for the struggling blogger because he is soooo professional when he does blogging. His ideas and topics are very unique, he is the only one can think of it! =P

• Nobe of I am Nobe This bi-lingual (Filipino and English media) blog of Nobe talks about different political issues and people in a satiric way which I love the manner of presentation. Straightforward, opinionated, and funny at the same time. But not that funny funny, it's like funny sense of humor funny. Get it?

• JenaIsle of Jena Isle's Random Thoughts Talk about random things, Jena Isle's blog never stopped giving you random things to read. From wedding to marrying someone to food to coping, etcetera, etcetera... this blog is the one you are looking for!

How to Gain More Blog Email Readers?

Okay. Now, here's a situation where most bloggers can relate to. You've been blogging for quite a long time now, but the thing is, you still don't have that much blog readers. Your feedburner tells you that you only have, for instance, five (5) blog readers, which is very much depressing on the blogger's part. Here's another thing where your visitors per day won't even surpass a month's calendar. You felt that you are so tired of blogging, you can't even type a word anymore. Is this the end for your blogging career?

No Blog is an Island

Really! Blogging is supposed to be an interaction between a reader and the blog author. The thing is, the blog author writes, the blog reader reads then subscribes if he/she wanted for more updates. What keeps a blog alive is the readers and of course, aside from the comments the blog author receives. Seeing a feedburner button's number jumps everyday is such a wonderful experience to a blog owner, right? But yours... it's not really happening! You tell yourself that you suck at blogging... BIG TIME!

No blog is really an island. Nobody blogs alone. The secrets to a blog's success are always have a big portion on (1) visiting other blogs; (2) reading different blog entries; (3) subscribing to a blog; and (4) connecting to blogs by constant writing of comments. In these ways, a blog author is enticing everyone who reads his/her blog to a meaningful online discussion/s.

How to gain more email readers?
As of this moment, my blog's feedburner button (located at the side bar) plays at 100 to 110 blog readers (depending on a day's schedule). But it doesn't mean that I only have 100 readers or more. It would mean that feedburner now catches 100 reading platforms — from google readers to email subscribers — of which almost 40+ percent of the total readers/subscribers makes up the email subscribers. So how did I do it? Here is a tip on how to gain more blog email readers: WRITE THEM A PERSONAL LETTER!

Yes! I actually write personal letter of appreciation to my email subscribers who did not verify their email accounts. Since they have chosen to subscribe via email, Feedburner requires people to verify their respective email addresses! Otherwise, they will not receive any email blog entries from me.

I am usually generous in terms of subscription because I do have a full blog entry for my subscribers. I don't want people to read only summary of my blog posts. It's okay with me if they only read my blog posts through their email. It's why feedburner is made up that way, isn't is?

So, if you are reading this via email, you can be assured that this blog entry is in FULL TEXT, not just the summary or some sort. Star Cinema will once again make us fall in love in their upcoming love story movie entitled "And I Love You So" starring Bea Alonzo, Sam Milby and Derek Ramsey. In this movie, Bea Alonzo plays an early widower. Then came her two leading men to the rescue for her heart played by Sam Milby and Derek Ramsey. Is it okay to find another love when your one true love has already gone? "And I Love You So" is said to be another mature film from Star Cinema where you can see Bea Alonzo in a two-piece bikini and doing a love scene with one of his leading men. "And I Love You So" is the 16th Anniversary special presentation of Star Cinema. The movie also stars Connie Reyes, Nikki Gil, Candy Pangilinan and many more. "And I Love You So" also marks the comeback movie of director Laurenti Dyogi.

Still remember that song from the latest Close-Up Commercial? The one with a girl blowing soap bubbles in a public market and then a guy approaches because he was somehow blinded with that soap bubbles that the girl blown? Apparently, I like the background song... and I am loving it!

I was actually shocked and amazed at the same time when I first heard that it was Rico Blanco, former Rivermaya band member and lead vocalist, who wrote and sang the song for the commercial because it sounded so foreign! It was reported that Rico Blanco was hired by Unilever Indonesia to compose the theme song for the Close Up Commercial.
