When you get married are you at the alter with your future husband/wife or are you marrying the videographer...see the pics below and you tell me :)

Do you really want this? Or do you want to enjoy your day without the photographer and/or videographer on top of you all the time and seeing it in all of your pictures and video? When you hire separate companies for your photo & video coverage, chances are this will happen because each company is only concerned about themselves.

At NH Images our main goal is to provide you with the best photos AND video of your day possible. In doing so, our key objective is to be as unobtrusive and as "invisible" as possible to you and your guests. We are able to achieve this through the use of wireless mics and excellent zoom lenses that allow us to capture your moments from a reasonable distance. And it also allows us to not interfere with each other. By this I mean you will very rarely see the photographer in your video and almost never see the videographer in your photos because we don't get in each others' way. The key to having you NOT remember our presence is to not have documentation of us in your photos and video, and because we have worked together for many years, we are completely in tune and in sync with eachother's movements and can almost predict where the other will be.

So, if you want to remember the moments of your day and not how the videographer or photographer walked with you down the aisle, or danced with you during your first dance, then consider NH Images for both your photo AND video needs.

Hi Everyone,

I hope this blog sees you well. We are on the eve of our 2009 wedding season (bulk of the schedule). Again I would like to thank everyone who have hired us!

Tomorrow we have two weddings going on. We will be at Fratello's restaurant in Manchester NH, and we will be at the Radisson in Chelmsford Mass. Also this Sunday you can find us at the Granite Rose (www.graniterose.com) for bridal show that goes from 1 PM to 4:30 PM. Next week we will be at Church Landing in Meredith, NH with the same hours.

We want to make everyone aware of the new feature that we are offering to all of our couples. For those who are looking for a way to pay for our services or as a way to purchase additional products we now have a bridal registry. The bridal registry is free to all of our couples and families it is easy to set up... just give us a call or send us an e-mail and we'll be happy to help you out. I'm always looking for better and easier ways for people to do business with us . A big shout out to Jaime for setting this up!

The other item I wanted to bring to everyone's attention is that we are now coming out with a
of affordable high quality coffee table books/albums. The prices for these albums will begin at $150 and terrific...a great affordable option. Give me a bell or drop me an e-mail if you'd like to schedule an appointment to come and view these albums.

On a personal note, last week I turned 40 years old...yikes! Good thing I don't feel old :) I am heading off to Florida for the remainder of the month. The interesting part of it all is that I'm going to be flying back on the weekend so that I can shoot a weddings and go to the bridal show... talk about being a jet setter LOL. The reason why going to Florida is that I was the winner at a charity auction for a week's worth of lodging at a resort in Orlando. We always try and use the latest technology to help our cause. What this does is create a situation on what to do with our equipment that we are no longer using. Therefore from time to time, I will post to you what we have available and if you are interested in purchasing some great equipment at a great price then here is your chance.

March Madness

Hi Everyone,

I hope this blog sees you well…So far 2009 is off to a fast start. To bring you up today we have completed 3 weddings and one other event. Over the last week we were at the Radisson, Nashua, NH bridal show and @ the Hanover Inn @ Dartmouth College. We have met some wonderful couples and hope to have some additional bookings from these shows :)

I want to make everyone aware of a few things…and this is to piggyback on Jaime’s blog entry…We realize the economy is tough on many people getting married this year and next. So what we are doing is being flexible on deposits and to when the deposit is due. So instead of 50% down and 50% due a week before the wedding we are willing to customize a plan that works for everyone involved. If you have some specific questions about your particular situation please let me know.

The bottom line is that if people love our work, we want to make it as easy as we can to do business with us. The second item I want to mention is that if you want to book us, but its going to be a little bit until the payments can begin then what we can do is reserve a spot for you with a $100 non refundable deposit. The $100 goes toward your balance and it gives you peace of mind while you plan out your wedding day. For more information on the $100 hold option, please email me @ pclayman@nhimages.com.

So whats next. The wedding season begins in full swing on April 18th…we are looking forward to another busy season. I also turn 40 years old on April 10th…yikes!!!!! Hunter (my baby boy) is 8 months old and has his first tooth…woohoo!! My son Troy is doing roller skating and we think he needs to put some Charmin tissue paper where it counts to soften the falls…if ya know what I mean…

I just redid the office a bit. 9 new canvas prints are spread out along the walls…they look great as people get to see more of our work.

Quality Still Matters

Hi Everyone,

Well, spring is almost here and that means that wedding season will soon be in full force. In the meantime we've launched a new website (let us know what you think!!), and are attending more bridal shows in some new locations. We visited the Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa in Whitefield this past Sunday. It was a great show at a FABULOUS location! The inn is beautiful and the 360 degree mountain views are simply breathtaking. This upcoming Sunday we will be at the Hanover Inn at Dartmouth College.

We are still actively booking for 2009 and well into 2010. With the economy in the state that it's currently in, we're seeing more and more couples being price conscious. We understand that money is tight and you want to make sure you get what you pay for these days. Quality still matters and sometimes the cheapest option won't give you the best results. Your wedding day is one of the most important days in your life and it only happens once. You won't have a second chance to have those special moments captured via professional photography & videography so you want to make sure you pick the right company.

When speaking with couples, we always tell them three things. You want to pick a photographer/videographer that:

Fits within your budget and provides you with the products you're looking for
Takes photos/video that you love
You like the personality of (You're going to spend a lot of time with these people, you want to make sure that you like being around them.)

Some other things to consider when researching companies:

How many years of experience does the photographer/videographer have?
Is this their full-time profession or is it a hobby?
What type of equipment do they use? Is it up-to-date with the latest technology to ensure the highest quality in resolution?
Do they have backup equipment with them on location in case of a malfunction?

At NH Images, we have over a decade of experience and have done over 400 weddings. This is the only job that we have, which keeps us 100% committed and focused on your special day. We use only the latest technology in photography and video to give you the best possible photos and video possible. We always have back up equipment either on us or in very close proximity.

I hope the information above has been helpful. Both Peter and I understand that there are a variety of reasons as to why couples might not book us, and that's okay! But we still want to see you get the high quality pictures and video that you deserve.

On a personal note, little TJ is growing leaps and bounds! He just had his 6 month checkup and was 16 lbs, 27.5 inches! He can sit up on his own with very little support, and loves to eat his feet (oh to be that flexible again!!). We're so glad that we've gotten some warm days, it's allowed us to go out sledding which TJ loves.

Hi Everyone,
I hope this blog sees you well. I wanted to take a moment to catch up a bit. We have been busy here at NH Images despite the economy. We have over 50 weddings booked for this year which puts us ahead of where we were a year ago. Many thanks again to all of those who have booked us.

We have been all over the place so far this year. I have posted a cool video of some baby pics of little Lillie that I mentioned about in my last blog. NH Images attended the WZID wedding expo and also attended a boutique bridal show at Ethan Allen in Portsmouth. Next week you can see us at the bridal show at the Exeter Inn (www.theexeterinn.com)...we also have 2 more shows coming up in March.

A few thoughts about planning. All of us are having to deal with the realities of the economy. Many of you out there getting married this year or next may be under a tight budget. One thought that I have seen work is to find vendors that are willing work with you if you book out in advance. If you need to spread your budget over a period of time you may have better time getting the vendors you want...even if they may be a bit pricier than what you were expecting (within reason that is :) I say this because its your special day and if you can figure how to get the right companies and people to work with you the better off you will be when it all comes together. One other item that I am going to do each blog segment (it will begin on my next blog entry) is to feature a venue that I have been to. I will highlight some of the great things that each venue has and post some images to give you an idea of what a wedding looks like.

Happy 2009 Lets catch up

HI Everyone,
I hope this blog sees you well. I wanted to catch up everyone with what is happening here @ NH Images. Going into this year we have over 40 weddings booked and are thankful to all those who have selected us. This winter has been busy already. We did two weddings on Dec. 20th @ Church Landing (www.millsfalls.com), a New Years Eve Wedding in Boston @ the Hyatt Harborside. On Jan. 2nd we did our first wedding of the year with Desiree & Jeff at the Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, NH (www.skymeadow.com) I have also recently done some pregnancy and now new born pics of Levi, Heather and their new baby girl Lillie...congrats on their new bundle of joy! Busy busy

Jaime will talk about this a bit more, but we have re-launched our site to keep things fresh and we welcome your opinions. We are very excited about this as we strive to make our website a great experience.

Also, we are trying to make our company a greener place. We have just invested in technology that will allow us and our couples the ability to sign contracts on the computer (yes we still have pens and you can sign a piece of paper if you'd like ;). We will be expanding this thought process into other areas, but at least its a start. On my next blog I will talk about keys to wedding planning for your special day :)

On a personal front, Hunter is getting big and just turned 6 months old! Olivia and Troy had a great holiday season as Santa was especially good to them ;) Finally, I want to tell everyone that I am active on Facebook...if you would like to join my friendship circle on Facebook, please look me up and let me know.

Hello All!

So, you've heard/read Peter talking about me, and well, HERE I AM!!! I'm Jaime the Director of Videography for NH Images and Peter's good friend of almost 7 years now. I'm sorry I haven't blogged until now, this past season was our best yet for video and during it all I gave birth to my first child, Tyler Jayden (TJ for short). He's 2.5 months now and since his 2 week checkup he has gained 3 lbs and grown 5 inches!!! For those of you who haven't met me - I'm 6 feet tall. I didn't even reach his length until I was about 4-5 months old. So, I think my little man is going to be a tall boy. We're hoping for a professional sports player here! LOL. He's also starting to smile and has found his voice which is awesome.

Even though the wedding season is over, we are still very busy at NH Images finishing up photo uploads and orders, and editing weddings. We will remain very busy throughout the winter as we are in the process of re-vamping our website, which will include some new video demos! We do have the new demos available on DVD, so if you'd like to see them, just send us an email. We are also attending several bridal shows in the next few months as well. We have already attended ones at Church Landing in Meredith, The Executive Court in Manchester and The Capitol Arts Center in Concord where we showed off our brand new tradeshow booth and met some great brides-to-be. Our show schedule is as follows:

Jan 4 - WZID Expo

March 8 - Mt. View Grand Resort

March 15 - Hanover Inn

April 19 - Granite Rose

April 26 - Church Landing

At all of these shows we will be raffling off great prizes, such as a free engagement session worth $399! And if you book us for your day at the show, we will give you up to $400 off your total package price right there on the spot!

NH Images happenings

Hi Everyone,

I hope this blog sees you well. With one more wedding left to do this season I now have an opportunity to blog on a regular basis. This has been a great year for us and I want to personally thank everyone for hiring us and working with us during our amazing growth!

So I thought I would take this opportunity to bring you all up to date with work and life. Between September and now we have been to as far south as Connecticut and as far north as the White Mountains. My good friends Zeb and Mary (yes the same Zeb and Mary of which I photographed their marriage proposal) just tied the knot at The Sunset Hill House in Sugar Hill, NH (http://www.sunsethillhouse.com/). I will post many pictures shortly, but you can look at many of the images @ http://www.nhimages.com/ then go to online ordering and pick a wedding based on the date that it was shot.

Other places that we went to: Zorvino Vineyard (http://www.zorvino.com/), Church Landing (http://www.millsfalls.com/) in fact I want to give a big shout out to Hillary and Stacy at Church Landing who do an outstanding job of working with couples for their special day! In my personal life I have moved into a brand new home with a gorgeous office and I welcome any and all to schedule an appt. to see it...in fact I will post some pics of it as well...it has recessed lighting...oooooo....lol...Hunter is growing up big now that he is 4 months old...
