I just adore NFCs, they are so gentle natured with humans and as soon as I have somewhere that's safe to have one, I shall have one, two, three, oh.. lots!

Yup, toast works well for soggy cat-minders I can tell you! I think Mousie had soaked up half the swimming pool, and dumped most of it on my clothing, soppy old cat. I shall dig out a picture of Mousie and some of the other NFCs and post them soon - they're just so gorgeous.

Thanks for the tip on the books Leanne, I'll add those to my wish-list.

"Fuzzy LITTLE tricksters"? You jest? They're huge great beasts - small lions with long fur. Affie, my favourite, could make a snack out of a Yorkshire terrier quite happily and still have space to eat more!

I can't tell you how gorgeous the NFCs are and they're so gentle and affectionate - though not if you're a small prey animal! I'm so relieved that Mousie is all right - can you imagine how awful it would be if the poor old girl had drowned on my watch? Even though I had done everything possible to keep her safe and well, I think it would have haunted me. As it is, her owner is home and giving her lots of hugs and I suspect Mousie will get an extra mouse for tea (which is why she's called Mousie - her owner defrosts a mouse or two for her each day!).

Me? I've had a glass of cava and a sip or two of Somerset Pomona and I'm feeling less panicked!

Thinking back, it was rather funny seeing a cat walk on water...The Shepton Witchhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13112727851345880405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4096746527686980468.post-47899549723065249212008-06-22T23:02:00.000+01:002008-06-22T23:02:00.000+01:00You are such a wonderful friend! I'm sure many others wouldn't have even bothered to look for the missing kitty, let alone take the time to warm her up and dry her off until she was all cozy and feeling herself again. It just makes one feel all warm inside to see how much you obviously care for the fuzzy little tricksters! {{{HUGS!!!}}}Foxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13917677532722185229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4096746527686980468.post-16048168725039008672008-06-22T21:52:00.000+01:002008-06-22T21:52:00.000+01:00Goodness, what a shock! NFC's are gorgeous, my sis has a half breed, and i would love a full NFC one day.

two books i love and have read a good few times now are 'The Wild roads' and its sequel 'the golden cat' by Gabriel King. Fantastic stories, magical, myth, alchemy, quests- its got it all. The author hads NFC and has a pic of his cats inside the cover, and based the 'hero' cat of the story around them! worth a read, great tales :-)

Leanne xLeannehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09573431221299174647noreply@blogger.com
