So I wanted to make this post(though it is rather late) in hopes that she had a great day today. Since we met earlier this year, she's been one of my best online friends and supporters. You will not find anyone that speaks more highly of her friends than she does. So.....

Happy Birthday Amy!:)

David Funkhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03774304034558140082davidfunk@basicbloganomics.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4034387255149447403.post-42766739705700685632009-07-07T21:36:00.000-04:002009-07-07T21:37:14.448-04:00Delta Flight 1714 MovieFor those who aren't familiar with this, you can check back to this entry for details as to how this came about: How Yesterday Went(July 1).

Note: Some ideas and credit goes to my friend Tammy, who was a nice lady I met at the airport in Ontario. She contributed much to the making of this post. Also, much of this is based on a true story with a fictional script written in.

Delta Flight 1714
Starring Tammy(friend from the airport in Ontario, CA), David Funk

Plot: All Tammy wanted to do was report for deployment on time for the Navy Reserve. All David wanted to do was go home after a week and a half stay in Moreno Valley. Other passengers were eager to get to their destination as well. Originally scheduled to depart from Ontario, California to Atlanta, Georgia by Delta airlines at 6:30am Pacific Time, Flight 1714 is canceled due to mechanic problems. But the mechanic problems are only part of the story.

A conspiracy exists as representatives from Delta in Ontario repeatedly inform passengers that the mechanical problems are being fixed. As the truth unfolds, it is later revealed that no such full-time mechanic is in Ontario because of the small-size airport. They also tell passengers that a part to fix the mechanical problem is coming, but no part is seen until over six hours after the flight is scheduled to take off. The departure time is changed, but the plane never leaves the ground. A mechanic is supposedly on their way, but no one ever spots him after both Tammy and David are asking if they've ever shown up hours later.

The pilot and flight crew were proven wise to not fly the aircraft because of an inside job to rig the plane to not fly safely. As the passengers sit and wait for a flight, a group of unknown men purposely overbook every flight going out of Ontario through for the next few days in an attempt to ruin the 4th of July weekend for everyone else there. Two friends of Tammy and David then book a red-eye flight out of Los Angeles to make it home for the holiday much to the chagrin of the evil-doers.

Other passengers then make an attempt to go home or to a hotel from a voucher provided by Delta only to find out that they face resistance in doing so from the unknown group of men. All this after the remaining passengers sit in the airport for 12 hours. This is when we see a side of Tammy getting violent dealing with the group trying to stop her from deployment to Gulfport, Mississippi through the Navy Reserve. The tactics she uses to combat the evil forces earns her the name of the Ontario Strangler(inside joke). We see David raising his voice at representatives and the infamous group which is something he seldom does, too.

Now watch as a group of unknown men set out to ruin a holiday weekend for everyone at a small airport beginning with rigging a plane that causes a mechanical problem for a flight to Atlanta that starts a chain reaction of delays, cancellations, and deception at every turn. But they have no idea who they've made mad, and what will happen to them is nothing they prepared for. This is a must-see suspense thriller that will have you guessing until its unpredictable ending.

Delta Flight 1714! Coming soon to a theater near you!

Note: There were NO stunt doubles used in this film, and Tammy made sure she was able to perform all of her own scenes which was initially a problem for her signing on to play herself in the lead role. For the record, she is strongly against stunt doubles for a film.

Also, she strongly encouraged those interested in walk-by roles for the movie since it is not finished! LOL!

I hope my friend Tammy will see this there in Mississippi!

David Funkhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03774304034558140082davidfunk@basicbloganomics.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4034387255149447403.post-34168106022757104882009-07-07T02:19:00.001-04:002009-07-07T02:22:44.461-04:00In the Sacramento areaI'm here at a hotel in Rancho Cordova after arriving at the Sacramento airport. I was at the airport for over 12 hours, and will hopefully be back home today. They couldn't reschedule or book us another flight because that airport was already overbooked anyway. I have to fly out of another airport today because Ontario is overbooked today, too.

I'm being paid for travel time, but will be flying back out to Sacramento on Monday so I only get three days off. Delta Airlines did give me a $100 voucher for future flight anywhere in the country within a year, meal vouchers, hotel voucher(very nice hotel), and transportation to another airport this morning.

One positive is I did spend my time talking to new friends at the airport. And oh yeah, you can expect another movie to be made(and plot to be written this weekend) about the experiences of what happened to us all yesterday(besides, it is close to Hollywood anyway). It will be called "Flight 1714".

One of the new friends I talked to was named Tammy(no, not the red-hot DJ Tammy, sorry), who was a real nice lady. She lives in California, and is being deployed from the Navy Reserve to Gulfport, Mississippi. Believe it or not, she actually did make suggestions for the script for this movie. I told her I blogged sometimes, and write blogger movies which was even funnier when she added to it.

The other two guys I talked with were from West Virginia, and missed being able to work here because of the cancellation. Luckily for them, they caught a red-eye flight out last night. They also had some key points to add to the movie. At least we were able to joke about this a little bit.

The whole point to this while it is frustrating because these kind of things happen at airlines all the time is that you can always find some good out of anything.

Well, I won't be getting back to North Carolina until later on tonight, so I won't be online again until Friday. Thanks to you all for your continued visits as well as links, too. I hope to update the badge and link list as well as post a little more before I leave for Sacramento on Monday.

David Funkhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03774304034558140082davidfunk@basicbloganomics.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4034387255149447403.post-6230823830641404552009-06-28T19:30:00.000-04:002009-06-28T19:32:17.533-04:00Made For TV Blogger Movies Part IINote: This is NOT to be taken seriously!

In case you missed it, check out my first Made For TV Blogger Movies. Before I get started with this one, I wanted to point out that I do plan on writing out complete scripts of some movies in that first entry in the future. Anyway, here we go......

I Crossed The Line
Lead actor/actress: Dhemz
Plot: After her successful movie debut in Hit Me!, Dhemz returns as a blogger that innocently pushes the buttons one too many times of a particular blogger called Mr. D. It becomes apparent that this changes Mr. D and his site when he somehow gets a virus that is contagious for anyone that stops by. After feeling guilty about all this, Dhemz is now in a race against time to find a cure or antidote to help Mr. D get rid of the virus once and for all while stopping it from spreading. Can Dhemz find a cure before this virus takes over the entire blogging community as well as stop the other person who crossed the line?
Note: For some reason, producers tried to trick Dhemz into signing a contract stating she could not discuss Mommy Moments on the set. This made production uneasy for awhile, but Dhemz was soon happy to know she received a huge contract to finish the film.

Pynk Candy
Lead actor/actress: Sharon Chong
Plot: If she had her way, Sharon Chong would want the whole world to be completely pink. If she had her way, she would be the next world leader. In a game of numbers, she actually is picked out to become world leader as she calls for a cupcake party to celebrate the occasion. Her Presidential office is pynk and she begins to influence the entire world with only an obsessive stalker trying to get to her while she's in school. This thrill ride turns into a dangerous adventurer as she looks to make her mark on the world.
Note: Sharon nearly quit the movie after it was discovered that part of the pink studio set was to be another color. While in still being in character, she demanded it to be changed before they continued on with the film.

Exceeded
Lead actor/actress: Ria Stevenson
Plot: Ria was enjoying her time away on vacation to the Philippines before she ran into a big problem on her site when returning home. After doing some of her own investigating, she notices that her webpage has exceeded its bandwidth limit. Originally, she enlisted the help of a fellow blogger to fix the problem, but she uncovers a conspiracy from her blog host that continues to make her blog and own personal life a mess(not to mention exceed its bandwidth limit again) . The Filipina star suddenly makes it her own mission to take down the blog host(s) that exceeded her webpage bandwidth as well as patience. Can Ria get to the bottom of this and prevent this from happening to her and someone else?
Note: Pre-production nearly was an issue for the film as Ria was on vacation, and producers wanted to interrupt it while she was away. This didn't sit well with her, but she was allowed to finish her vacation in peace before starting the film.

Moments To Remember
Lead actor/actress: Eden
Plot: In life, we often do not appreciate some of the most precious and unforgettable moments in our life. But then there's Eden, who constantly gives her readers moments that we all can remember as it happens. Suddenly, another blogger decides to rain on her parade as Eden shares another precious moment for those who read her blog. The blogger causes problems for her and others, but then soon learns that he creates his own moment to remember which he never recovers from as Eden continues her legacy as a friendly and kind blogger friend.
Note: Eden had her photos that she wanted to use for her movie which producers didn't want to put on film. She was purposely late one day which made producers wisely change their minds on that to finish the movie.

Challenges of Life
Lead actor/actress: Jane
Plot: Very few understand how challenging life can be both good and bad. For Jane, she loves to talk about life as well as encourage others with advice on making them better. Then it happens. After signing up on a PPC site, she is able to have money deposited into her bank account before a blogger suddenly crosses her path. We suddenly learn that Jane is not someone you want to mess with, and she deals with this person head on. This is when we see a side of her no one would want to see. Can she turn away this rude blogger for good?
Note: During production, Jane provided very useful advice for anyone on the set about life until it was discovered she wasn't being paid as much as originally thought. Producers then gave her a much-deserved raise while she continued on with production.

A Journey For Life
Lead actor/actress: S-H-Y
Plot: She maybe a shy person, but S-H-Y's journey in her own life is still very noteworthy. Watch this special documentary as her life from her native Philippines to Sweden is covered. Along the way, she befriends many bloggers as well as talks about anything on the journey in her own life. This classic documentary includes never before seen footage of her, family, and friends. Jenny and Janet co-star in this classic documentary.
Note: It was originally thought that S-H-Y wouldn't be allowed to speak up her mind because of her shy personality, but then they found out that she could do so very well on her blog. Producers did not want to cross the kind and talented blogger after that.

Levian
Lead actor/actress: Levian
Plot: In the first ever anime blogger movie, Levian stars as herself as well as in her own voice in the adventure of a lifetime. Her thoughts are expressed and the film features vampire-like characters that makes this anime movie a must see for everyone. Watch the adventures of Levian as well as her path to being a blogging star.
Note: The thoughtful blogger searched long and hard for the best anime photos for her film, but producers didn't want to use them until she expressed her feelings on her blog about it. Also, producers wanted to put in some real-time footage until Levian told them she would quit before that happened. She wanted to be the first exclusive anime blogger movie.

The Paying Post Code
Lead actor/actress: Dhemz
Plot: The Direct-To-Video has Academy Award winning blogging superstar Dhemz trying to locate a code that would save the blogging community for those that thought about changing layouts. Instead of giving into starting up a new template, Dhemz finds clues that will hopefully lead her to the code that it will take to bring stability back to her blog as well as her friends, too. Along the way, she befriends many that will help her crack the code, too. The road isn't easy with twists and deception at every turn as she attempts to find it as well as save the blogging universe.
Note: Dhemz was busy pulling double duty in two films at the same time(I Crossed The Line) which caused a conflict backstage. Because of wanting to produce DVD sales, it was decided this movie wouldn't be immediately shown in theaters. However, it is believed that it does have a chance to produce strong sales worldwide.

Those are the latest releases. I'll have more later on. Thanks for viewing, and this is not to be take seriously!

David Funkhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03774304034558140082davidfunk@basicbloganomics.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4034387255149447403.post-18401489444698198042009-06-24T12:00:00.001-04:002009-06-25T07:10:11.501-04:00Blogger Charge Card!Originally, I posted an entry on Sporting News for a SN User Blog Card. Being that a few of my good blogger friends have been attacked recently, I'm posting a newly revised version of it. Well, I had thoughts of posting a sensible topic about commenting, but I added more lines to the original posting for this. So for all you members that have been victims of this and to you trolls, this is for you. This is thinking from a troll's mind.

I like to start fights by being the first to attack,
Then do it again when planning another article hijack,

I have power to abuse as I proudly thump my chest,
Anonymous bashing is smart as I've become obsessed,

I don't want others to know that I have an email,
I hate blogs that are fresh cuz my comments are stale,

I have a mind of my own, and I know I make sense,
I love the attention that I get building suspense,

I post irrelevant garbage because I don't care,
I'm in love with myself, and enjoy that love affair,

I feel all grown up when posting this way,
It's really me, not just an image I portray,

It's my right to do this according to many constitutions,
Though I will never make any real writing contributions,

My opinion is always right, and you are always wrong,
This is just my way of feeling like I belong,

Anything you write I won't be able to understand,
Besides, my opinion is the only one in high demand,

If you disagree with me, I will post an insult,
Remember, I'm no child, but a pretending adult,

I can bash you on your blog or in your chatbox,
I'm contagious and worse than swine flu or chicken pox,

I love starting fights cuz I'm a cyber giant,
My comments have better game than Kobe Bryant,

I'm above everyone, and the master of my domain,
I only like myself, do I have to explain?

It's no wonder that I don't have a single friend,
But I would much rather post replies to offend,

There is no better way to live than like a troll,
I just love playing in this lead theatrical role,

I'm only here to make sure your blog dream shatters,
Without me bashing you, nothing else matters!

So in the end, posting senseless replies is what I need,
I'm ready for another article so please continue to feed!

David Funkhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03774304034558140082davidfunk@basicbloganomics.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4034387255149447403.post-6355875902010676992009-06-18T13:00:00.000-04:002009-06-18T13:25:04.202-04:00Today In History: June 18Here are some significant events that took place on June 18.....

Sports
1973: The NCAA officially bans the use of anabolic steroids and begins urine testing that fall to combat the increasing overall drug use. Also, Cecile, Amy, and Shydub, and Tammy tagged me for this one, too. Thank you all for passing this tag to me!

I had fun doing this fancy quiz about who my name was in the 1950's and I was fascinated with the result. I have decided to circulate this. Here are the rules:

1. Take this quiz.

2. Post the result in your site.

3. Acknowledge My Daily Thoughts and Moods by writing her link in number one of your list, followed by yours and then proceed to link other friends whom you would like to know their names in 1950s. Go back to this page, to be added in the list and so you can copy and add to your list those who are listed here. Come on, make this a long list of fun. The first one has been done for you. My name in the 1950s is Gwendolyn Silvia, yikes, seems like I don't like my name, then. Try yours. This is a booster to increase our technorati, too.

1. Imelda (My Daily Thoughts and Moods) - Gwendolyn Silvia

2. Cecille (Down Home with the Kenyons) - Dorothy Charlene

3. Amiable Amy (Discover the Simplicity of My World) - Victoria Penny

4. ShyDub (Simple Happy Life) - Phyllis Janie

5. David Funk (Basic Bloganomics) - Monty Milton

Your 1950s Name is: Monty Milton

What's buzzin, cuzzin?

What's Your 1950s Name?

LOL!
