I really wish we had a site where we could start entering all our 8-tracks to create, eventually, a complete database of what was made. Discogs has exactly the set up I envision, but they focus on electronic dance music for DJs. It is a site where people can go and add listings by record label. Today at the 8-track museum we heard quadraphony for the first time. I scored a Lafayette SQR-40 for 5 bucks + shipping on ebay and it works. Sometimes ebay can be pretty groovy. I am so overwhelmed. I have a pretty good quad collection, 300+, and I have never heard them. Guess I know what I'll be doing tomorrow.
