I've met wonderful people through the internet. I have friends that I have not even met in "Real Life" and still care a lot about. It's like a secret world.<br /><br />One of my journal friends is really sad right now. Reading about her situation tore my heart out. I wanted to go to her place halfway across the world with ice cream and wine and try to make it better. Hanging out with friends and talking is how healing works for me.<br /><br />Online friendships are obviously different than real life friends. I sometimes think of them as favourite characters from novels with the exception that I don't know when their stories will end.
