THIS IS IT! THE FINAL SHOW! CONGRATS TO THE CAST AND STAFF FOR A FABULOUS SHOW!

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT FOLLOWING THE SHOW TODAY THERE ARE STILL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ENTIRE CAST TO HELP WITH CLEANUP AND LOAD OUT. NO CAST MEMBER SHOULD LEAVE THE BUILDING BEFORE GETTING CLEARANCE FROM EITHER THE KIDDIE WRANGLER, SHERYL NEELY (DOWNSTAIRS) OR A DRESSER (BETH, BECKY, SAMANTHA) UPSTAIRS. CAST MEMBERS SHOULD CLEAR THE DRESSING ROOM OF THEIR PERSONAL BELONGINGS, TAKE THEIR COSTUMES (ALL THE PIECES) TO THE PLACE DESIGNATED BY THE COSTUMERS UPSTAIRS, AND THEN ASSIST WITH COMPLETE CLEANING OF THEIR DRESSING ROOMS. DRESSING ROOMS SHOULD BE LEFT AS THEY WERE WHEN WE ARRIVED. PARENTS ARE WELCOME TO COME ASSIST WITH THIS PROCESS!

ONCE THE SHOW IS OVER, THE BACKSTAGE AREA IS OFF LIMITS TO ANYONE EXCEPT THOSE WHO ARE ASSISTING WITH STAGE LOAD OUT. CAST MEMBERS SHOULD RETURN TO THE DRESSING ROOMS AFTER THE RECEPTION THROUGH THE GREEN ROOM AND NOT THROUGH THE STAGE RIGHT DOOR ENTRANCES. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT SAFETY ISSUE.

THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE AGREED TO HELP WITH LOAD OUT SHOULD REPORT TO THE BACKSTAGE AREA IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE SHOW. THE LOAD-OUT PROCESS WILL BE SUPERVISED BY BILL CHEVERTON, RUSTY BROWN, RANDY O'CONNELL, AND RUTHIE CARRICO. THEY WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH PLENTY TO DO! IF YOU OWN A POWER SCREWDRIVER, PLEASE BRING IT WITH YOU...THERE ARE LOTS OF SCREWS TO TAKE OUT! AND I'M NOT REFERRING TO THE ONES THAT ARE LOOSE IN THE STAFF'S HEADS! COME DRESSED TO WORK, EVEN BRING A PAIR OF GLOVES IF YOU WOULD LIKE.

Saturday Shows

Parents/Cast:
With two shows tomorrow, you will need to leave the after show reception in time to leave the building for a meal break. Parents, it's important for the kids to get out of the building for at least an hour, eat dinner, and let off some steam before returning for the evening performance. Kids should not leave the building in costume. Those who are in the appropriate makeup for starting the show, i.e. Kansas family, Glinda, Dorothy, Scarecrow...may want to leave their makeup on and just do touch up makeup. Lion, Tinman, and Wicked Witch will probably want to clean off makeup and start fresh in the evening. Two great shows behind us! Three more to go!!

This Tuesday evening, July 21st we will have an
ALL CAST Party at the Elks Lodge Pool -
1060 Swan Drive
from 7 pm - 9 pm.
Parents and siblings invited.
Snacks and Drinks are available for purchase
from the Elks Pool Snack. They have Pop, chips,
candy bars, ice cream, Hot Pockets, Corn Dogs, etc,
so bring plenty of $$$.
This party is being sponsored by the Evans
family (Landry Evans is a Munchkin) so be sure

One parent/representative must be present for each cast member.

Production Week will be discussed, as well as details about makeup needs, reception needs, photos and DVDs. Lots of information to make the week run smoothly.

Following the meeting there will training for the makeup crew and a meeting for the dressers/wranglers.

I need to find 2 more people who are willing and available to help with the derigging of the flying equipment. This will happen on the Monday afternoon following the show, from 1-3pm. It involves undoing lots of bolts and packing equipment up. Bill Cheverton will be directing this crew. Contact Tracye Caughell at 331-6210 if you can be one of these people!

Set Work

Monday night was a very productive time of set work, with building. assembling and painting going on. If you missed it, don't fret....we have lots more work to do....and only 5 more days to do it! We will need painters all week. Please do not drop off cast members to work in the shop! The only kids who may be at the shop are those who are working directly with their parents who are there with them the entire time. We're glad that the kids want to be involved, but we do not have any extra people for supervising them and it often degenerates into an entirely social time. Social time is great...but it needs to happen somewhere besides the shop at this critical time.

Friday Cast Appearance

On Friday, July 10th, the entire cast will be performing at the Hot Street Party in downtown Bartlesville. Our performance time is 7:30pm, so we would like to have everyone meet at 7:10pm in the Plaza area between the Phillips Museum and the COP Building/Cafeteria. Everyone should wear their cast tshirt and either a jean short or a navy short. Shorts must be of a modest length, such as would be appropriate for school. If your shorts are not appropriate length you will not be performing. If you want to wear capris or full length jeans that is acceptable, but it may likely be 100 degree temperature and we want you to be comfortable.

Flying Rehearsal

FLYING REHEARSALS

Once the fliers are there, they will stay until finished, meaning Glinda will be there to the end, as well as Dorothy. They will be released when their scene work is completed.
We will rehearsing in costume! The costumers will bring your costumes on Tuesday.

Cast Appearance

The entire cast will be performing selected songs with choreography at the Hot Street Party in downtown Bartlesville on Friday, July 10th. The performance time is 7:30pm...but we will need to assemble everyone at 7:10pm. The kids should wear their cast tshirts (make sure they're clean!) and jeans (either capri length or full length...no shorts). Fox News Channel will be there to tape their performances to air the following week.

Week 4 Rehearsal Schedule

We will be doing run-throughs of Act I and II all week with the possible exception of additional dance and music reviews on Tuesday and Thursday.

EVERYONE is to be in attendance from 9:00 until they are released....most probably around 4:00 EVERYDAY.. PLEASE PLAN ON BEING AT MADISON TO PICK UP YOUR CHILD PROMPTLY AT 4 IF THEY HAVE NOT CALLED TO HAVE YOU PICK THEM UP SOONER.

We prefer that you not have your child call you after they have been released if they are there after 3:30.
