Thanks for the thoughts, but our local community colleges don't offer Japanese.

One of them does offer Arabic, though! :>

Since I wrote this post, I lost all my study materials in a fire. I have managed to get some things back, but I'm not nearly at the same level as before.

At least there will always be Microsoft IME and Jim Breen's WWWJDIC!

There are probably a variety of places you can go. You can search up places to go with yellowpages-- or you can actually go to a local community college to study a Japanese Course-- but it's obviously paid for and for credits... but I think that is a good option that you can take.
