How do you view repentance? As a wonder of God's grace or a necessary evil?<br /><br />In order to experience revolution in our lives, we must see repentance as an ally, and not a foe. The grace filled life responds to the work of the Holy Spirit with the ancient question, "What shall I do?", then is passionate to change according to God's leading.</span><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/3882480825868755713-5438461952923481328?l=thedailybibleverse.blogspot.com'/></div>theDailyBibleVerse.orghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00277785021949893080noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3882480825868755713.post-48578063688312859032009-06-25T09:19:00.000-07:002009-06-25T09:20:14.361-07:00Acts 2:5-8 - How is it that each of us hears them in his own native language?<table style="border: 2px none rgb(255, 255, 255); margin-top: 6px; background-color: rgb(255, 204, 51); color: rgb(255, 255, 255);font-size:0pt;" id="content_LETTER.BLOCK3" tabindex="0" hidefocus="true" datapage="" bg="" border="0" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="0" cols="0" contenteditable="inherit" width="100%"><tbody><tr><td style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:18pt;" styleclass="style_CouponTitle" align="left" valign="top"><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:180%;" ><img name="ACCOUNT.IMAGE.19" alt="NIV" src="http://ih.constantcontact.com/fs091/1101586706022/img/19.gif?a=1102621508176" border="0" contenteditable="false" /></span></td> <td style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:14pt;" styleclass="style_CouponText" align="left"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:130%;" ><span style="font-size:100%;">Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. Galileans were known as an isolated, under educated border city with Samaria. The ancient world saw them as the backwoods (or redneck) part of their nation.<br /><br />To hear Galileans speaking in other languages can be compared to seeing Susan Boyle at her initial audition of "Britain's Got Talent". It was a total shock! But God has always been in the business of using people that the world ignores to change the world.<br /><br />The Pentecost was God's statement to all of us that our background is no hindrance to Him and, in many cases, is the very thing He uses to bring Him glory.</span><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/3882480825868755713-4857806368831285903?l=thedailybibleverse.blogspot.com'/></div>theDailyBibleVerse.orghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00277785021949893080noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3882480825868755713.post-16370057310162810952009-06-23T22:58:00.001-07:002009-06-23T22:58:22.021-07:002 Peter 3:18 - Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ<table style="border: 2px none rgb(255, 255, 255); margin-top: 6px; background-color: rgb(255, 204, 51);font-size:0;color:#ffffff;" id="content_LETTER.BLOCK3" tabindex="0" hidefocus="true" datapage bg border="0" border cellpadding="3" cellspacing="0" cols="0" contenteditable="inherit" width="100%"><tbody><tr><td style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255); font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;" styleclass="style_CouponTitle" align="left" valign="top"><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255); font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:180%;color:#ffffff;" ><img name="ACCOUNT.IMAGE.19" alt="NIV" src="http://ih.constantcontact.com/fs091/1101586706022/img/19.gif?a=1102620361101" border="0" contenteditable="false" /></span></td> <td style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;" styleclass="style_CouponText" align="left"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:130%;color:#000000;" ><span style="font-size:100%;">But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
