São Paulo are planning to take disciplinary action against him, with a fine being the most likely outcome.

Adriano arrived almost 30 minutes late for the Friday practice that coach Muricy Ramalho had scheduled. Borges and Hugo also arrived late, but they immediately joined the rest of the squad. Adriano decided to have Physiotherapy alleging a strong pain in his right thigh.

A few minutes later, Adriano left training without notifying his management or teammates, which angered São Paulo superintendant Marco Aurelio Cunha. "We'll see what happened exactly, then we'll know what to do, he didn't explain why he arrived late at the practices, he will be fined for sure"

Adriano was then involved in an argument with photographer Reginaldo Castro from the sports paper Lance, who was attempting to take a picture of him leaving the ground.

On Thursday, Adriano had arrived at Cumbica de Guarulhos airport in São Paulo without the official outfit the players must wear on the trip. The club justified Adriano's actions through a statement. Explaining that the coaching staff had allowed him to take off his shirt because he was sweating.adriano-onlinehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06285026948340069072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38808411.post-83777438395245128862008-02-29T15:20:00.018Z2008-02-29T17:24:26.455ZAdriano ranked among top earnersIn a list compiled by a Portuguese finance website, Adriano has been ranked as the 28th highest earning footballer in the world.
