New record - Off the Deep End from The Friday Night Boys. Get it here. This is actually a great album. Their EP's were good but this album is great. Maybe their label made them change their shit. Oh yeah, they got signed after like a million years of trying.

Take Cover is embarking on their summer tour with some new tunes. Very attractive. They have two songs from their new EP on their page. This Saturday they're playing a cd release show at The Garage with tons of amazing bands like You, Me, and Everyone we Know, All the Right Moves, and Jamestown Story. Sounds like an awesome lineup. It's cool to see how big this band is getting. I remember seeing them less than a year ago in Mankato and no one knew who the fuck they were. Now people can't stop talking about them, I'm even getting Jade Presents e-mails with them as the months featured performer. Good for those dudes.

REUNION SHOW!!!

Bands reuniting seems to be the cool thing to do these days. Notably, The Get Up Kids, Blink 182, Black Eyed Peas, and No Doubt have all announced reunions. I found out something that will top them all. The Semester is doing a one night only reunion show at The Triple Rock on June 17th. Also performing with them for one night only, Small Towns Burn A Little Slower. This will go down as one of the biggest moments in Minnesota music history. The Semester is Pat Brown's old band that made a huge splash in the Minneapolis music scene a few years back. I am incredibly stoked for this show and I wouldn't miss it for the world. Gloria is also on the bill, that just another plus. This show is going to be crazy. Be there.
