Within minutes he declared it a thoroughly stable and forgiving machine, just what I needed to practice and develope my skills on before progressing to something else.

I was given the transmitter and allowed to fly around for the expected life of the battery and really enjoyed it. Far better than the simulator version. It floated and glided well in the gentle wind and then I handed back to the instructor to land. Perfect!

With 3 batteries available (I had purchased 2 extra) I couldn't wait to have another go and neither could some of the other pilots there. A great deal of fun was had by all, and there was no ridicule at all from those present.

I have since returned to the club and become a member and enjoy flying before my peers, managing my own take offs and landings now. It has been agreed to allow me to take the 'A' certificate demanded by the BMFA on this model and I am practicing hard for both the flying and the questions part of the test.

Thanks for helping me choose this excellent model.

Geoff

Retired and enjoying life again!greynoldshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17621863733798444688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38613505.post-10966888882431422812008-12-29T21:32:00.000+11:002008-12-29T21:32:00.000+11:00Hi Chloe - don't know where you will find a copy o...Hi Chloe - don't know where you will find a copy of the instructions sorry. Gives you the option of using the fourth channel. Flying is normal without lateral input and the rate of roll is very gentle when you pluck up the courage to use them. I wont be doing any flick rolls with this setup, but I think it's a nice easy transition to aileron control. BTW, I used the setup from a wrecked extrafun (you really only need the wing and servo) whole mod took me a couple of hours.
Cheers, Marksculstonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17495150238675690356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38613505.post-80196939733665433682008-03-19T21:02:00.000+11:002008-03-19T21:02:00.000+11:00Yes - just the first time.Drop by the forum if you...Yes - just the first time.

Drop by the forum if you have any more questions.

Cheers,
Oz.Oz RC Boyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08673324010908304483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38613505.post-2607362214502176582008-03-19T20:01:00.000+11:002008-03-19T20:01:00.000+11:00ok do you mean i will only have to do that once. w...ok do you mean i will only have to do that once. while there new.Tomnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38613505.post-87859782265818697962008-03-18T21:49:00.000+11:002008-03-18T21:49:00.000+11:00Hi Tom,Your charger should work okay.
