It's been this way for a few months. I try to have a "regular" bedtime (whatever that is) but I can't even come close to functioning until almost noon.
I get up at the crack of dawn to get all the boys ready and to school and then I come home, clean up the kitchen, check the e-mail/blogs and then I literally have to lay back down, as my eyes absolutely will not stay open for anything. I've tried to be productive and it just wears me down even further. I'm not a coffee drinker unless it's at Big Bucks and in the form of a frappaccino. That is just not in the budget for a daily fix to my exhaustion.
It's really sad when Bossy Boy demands my attention and all he can get out of me is a head nod. It's not easy playing Pokemon when you don't know what your doing in the first place and then doing it in zombie mode. I just tell him pick my card for me and choose my defense...zzzz. I'm lucky if I even finish my sentence that far. Thankfully he is very self entertained for the most part.
So I'm thinking there's more to the story than I'm just a lazy a** (which is plausible but I'm denying it) so I finally found a gyno, as I need my girly parts checked anyway.

I've had some other "issues" as well and so maybe 1+1= some thing's up and I'll get it nipped in the bud. I'm sure your ever so glad that I mentioned this but I figure maybe that's why the blog has slacked off as of late...no energy to put a coherent thought together...barely enough energy to read others blogs, much less comment.

The yard alone is whipping my tail. I feel, like I'm tending more to the yard than any other household duty. We finished up the back yard this weekend. I mowed one side of the front and trimmed half the bushes (I just could not do any more) and will try hopefully with my child labor force in acted to help finish the rest tonight. The thought of if just makes me want to take a nap right now.

I really didn't mean for this to be a cheese and whine post, but sometimes you just gotta.

WW A to Z: M is for Memorial Day Weekend

<img style="display:block; I figured there was no better time to do that then this months edition of Whats On Your Night Stand? hosted by 5 Minutes For Books.

98% of the books I read come by recommendations from other bloggers/word of mouth. I admit I am a mainstream reader and read what everyone else is reading. I've read so many great books in the last few months just from reviews of other bloggers or simply going through other peoples to read piles. I also feel that I have to catch up with previous top reads from the past couple of years, as I really slacked off in the reading department. Having no T.V. other than watching DVD's these past few months, has tripled my reading progress.
I also have joined the Classics Book Club and have broadened my horizons by re reading some oldies but goodies and reading some oldies that I hadn't read before. I'm trying to read at least 2 classics a month. This month was Little Women.

There was a meme type list going around facebook a few months ago that had 100 books listed that asked you to cross off how many you have read. Most of the books were classics and some that are modern classics. I had read quite a few of the classics listed, but didn't feel that they really counted since it was so long ago. At the time I did the meme, I could only honestly list 23 of the 100. I felt really ashamed with that number and have made a goal to read at least 50 of the 100 on the list this year. I'm at 39 now. I will say that some of the books on that list I have no real desire to read War and Peace- uhm thanks but no thanks.

Now for what's on the nightstand for June-
-Everyone is Beautiful- I'm on the waiting list at the library and crossing my fingers I get it before next week so I can join 5 Minutes for Books on the discussion.

-Atonement by Iwan McEwan

-The Great Gatsby - I'm debating on whether I want to read this one for my classics read, as there's so many others that I know are better. I did read it in high school and think that may be that's good enough.

-The Curious Incident of the Dog In The Night Time Written from the perspective of a high functioning autistic boy.

-Undress Me In The Temples of Heaven -A travel memoir to China that didn't go as planned.

-The Grapes of Wrath -Classic read of surviving the dust bowl.

That should get me through the month of June. I can't wait to see what everyone else is reading.

I Heart Faces: Silhouette

This week's I Heart Faces challenge is silhouettes. From what I understand each week will be a different "themed" week to do something fun with your kids and then Show and Tell it on your blog and post it up. This week is MESSY. I took the challenge literally.

I had no qualms whatsoever of letting the kids have at in in the sprinkler and then roll in the mud like pigs. They got their feet muddy which is close enough to rolling in the mud for me. Thankfully the dog didn't roll per say. Sun, Rain, then Sun again. It's sunny as we speak.

I am hearing: Ratatoulle-We're all piled on the couch dog included, watching this movie for the 50th time. At least it's not Pokemon or Animaniacs, I think I could deal with out those two for a very long time.

I am thinking: It's going to be a pretty lax low key day.

I am hoping: That I can convince the hubs to go to the lake. We live less than 2 minutes from the lake and have yet to actually go to the lake.

From the kitchen: The hubs made the menu plan for this week.
Monday-Burgers on the grill
Tuesday-Chicken broccoli rice casserole
Wednesday-Spaghetti
Thursday-Tilapia
Friday-Hot dogs at the school carnival

I'm reading: I read The Lovely Bones earlier this week. That was a good/interesting read about a girl who is murdered and the story is told from her point of view from heaven. She tries to help her family and friends become consoled as well as help solve her murder. I am now currently reading Bridget Jones's Diary, it's ok for a light fluffy quick humorous read. I may post sometime this week of why/how I choose the books I read. Oh yes there's a special formulated list involved.

I am creating: Thanks to all of your suggestions for the Daniel Boone apparal. I went with Camille's suggestion of making a paper bag vest with fringe. I have to admit it worked in a pinch and doesn't look to shabby. Pics to come when the coon skin hat comes in. I'm also planning BB's birthday. We're doing his party this coming weekend which really means just cake and presents with us. He wants Legos for his birthday so I decided to take it one step further and do a Lego birthday. BB was not particular on what theme birthday he wanted, which shocks me for a 5 year old.

Around the house: Nothing major really, just the usual

Plans for the week: No major plans this week other than celebrating BB's birthday early. Then Friday is the school carnival. We are a exciting bunch, we are.

One of my favorite things: Sweet green tea with honey and ginsing. You can buy it by the gallon (which works for me). Oh, and a freshly mowed lawn right before it rains while the oldest trims the edges. I'm really going to love having boys around to do the "manly" jobs.
Have a great Memorial Day everyone!
A Picture Thought: I has no picture thought as I haven't taken any pics recently.

The Potty Train Has Left The Station

I admit the potty train left the station roughly 2 and half 3 years ago, this doesn't mean the memories have left.
I have had my share of brown packages left in random places in the house; sadly they were not tied with string, nor were they one of my favorite things. I have also had my share of racing down the aisles using the shopping cart as a skateboard, to get from one end of ginormous box store to the other, to get a kid to the potty on time.
I have also had a kid or three baptize the tires of my car while frantically stopped on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. I can't imagine what you would do for little girls, squat in the grass maybe?

Gameboy the oldest was probably my most difficult challenge, albeit I was just as new to the potty training as he was. I never read any how to manuals. I just winged it and knew heavy bribing would be involved. I also knew that he would "get it" eventually, as it's not like you see college age boys wetting themselves everyday -drunken frat boys don't count.
By the time Bossy Boy the baby came along, the potty train was easy breezy. I say all this now looking back, as I'm pretty sure I wasn't thinking that then. He was a stubborn little cuss, much harder to break than his brothers. I did have one ace up my sleeve for this one, daycare.
If ever one decides to wave the white flag of despair when it comes to potty training, sign your youngster up immediately for daycare. They'll have him broken in no time.

All this potty talk about potty training is courtesy of the Parent Bloggers Network and The Potty Project.

King of the Wild Frontier

We have two weeks of school left and my mind is set already for summer. Gameboy's teacher has this mindset that <strike>the kids</strike> us parents, should be still in the nose to the grindstone mentality. She is making the kids do a report on a "famous" Texan and they are required to dress, speak and write a report about said Texan.
I am so not in the mood to do this kind of thing this late in the school year, especially a Texan I have no interest in. Though I guess that whole Alamo thing was kind of imperative to Texas history. (Yawn)
I did the inevitable and bought a coonskin cap on Ebay (Thank you Ebay, Thank God they still make coonskin caps!) for this project. Something tells me a cowboy hat just would not do for this particular Texan. That would be like putting a kilt on a Frenchman and calling him Scottish. It might fool someone but it still wouldn't be right.
Let's hope it arrives in time for next week, because I can't imagine spending $13.00 for a coonskin cap that would never be worn; because wearing it one time for a school project is completely valid.
Anyone got any ideas for the rest of the attire? A leather fringe jacket is out of the budget. I bet dollars to donuts they have them on Ebay though.

Field Day

There must be some law that every state in the union ( at least OK and TX) that every school is required to have field day. They are very protective about copy right laws and I think the usher said it's $5.00 per pic in fines. I'm not one to be thrown out of a show because I took some pics..but that's just me.

The show was great but I'm not sure it's something I would want to see over and over. There were people there who had seen it 7 times, going on their 8th. I probably would have enjoyed it a heck of a lot more if we were closer. The only way for 8 people to sit together, was to sit in the nosebleed seats. We literally were one row down for the very highest seating in the theater. I kept thinking my glasses would have really come in handy. I squinted a lot.

The puppets were amazing, people on stilts as giraffes, the elephants amazing. The thing was it seemed like there should have been more animals. There was only 1 elephant, where I felt there should have been 2. It's probably because when I see bunches of animals, I see them in groups of two, like Noahs Ark.
The singing was beautiful, but you had to get adjusted to it since it was African origin.
Overall it was beautiful, I'm glad I can say I've seen it. My kids loved it. I was skeptical about Bossy Boy because he can't even sit through the movie Lion King. I was really afraid he would bore out easily during some of the more somber songs, but he did great and never once asked, "how long is this going to take?" like he usually does.
3 cheers for Lion King! 3 cheers for WW A to Z!

H- Hop Scotch I- Ice Cream J- Jumpin Jean K- Kindergarten Bound

I Heart Faces: Blurb Photo Book

This is my entry for the amateur category. Glorious SUN! The rest of the week indicates SUN!

I am hearing: What does 3 pennies make? Hundreds of questions about money and addition. Have I mentioned that this kid of mine asks the WHY or WHAT DOES THAT MEAN questions non stop daily? Some of his questions are adorable others not so much. Stay tuned for a T-13 list of some of my favorites in the near future.

I am thinking: Chocolate anniversary cake is delicious no matter how "wreckie". On a side note of the cake, it really wasn't as wrecky as I reported, only just half a ton of icing pink flowers with these silver leaves and pink sprinkles. I have seen worse. Pics as soon as my mom gets them developed (yes I know, she hasn't quite mastered the digital age yet) and e-mailed to me.

I am hoping: The weather stays pleasant for awhile.

From the kitchen: The hubs is out of pocket this week, which means kid friendly- don't have to try very hard dinners.
Monday- baked chicken strips
Tuesday-Spaghetti
Wednesday-fish sticks
Thursday- Grocery day
Friday-?

I'm reading: The Host and still loving it. It has gotten to that point where I can't put it down as it rolls to the end. It's a love/hate relationship with books like this, as you absolutely must keep reading to know what happens next, but at the same time you hate for it to end.

I am creating: Summer plans/schedules for the kids. I'm not just going to let them hang loose around the house all summer. It's going to be interesting for me and them as this is the first summer that I'm "camp counselor" and have to entertain, feed, and educate all day. I'm really hoping I can stick with my guns and go with the schedule. Kids need structure, ya know?

Around the house: I have to clean out the hubs 'burb this week. He is going to a work retreat at the big cheese's ranch. The problem is the big cheese does not have enough rooms at his guest ranch house for everyone, so some of the guys have volunteered to sleep in their cars, the hubs included. Let's just say this is going to be quite a challenge as we never really officially removed everything out of the 'burb from the move. Plus it's just nasty junkie in there.

Plans for the week: It's a busy week this week with school winding slowly down. I'm hoping Laurie and I are going on our IKEA Vlog adventure soon. Also Gameboy has his music performance Tuesday, field day is Thursday, and they finally set up kindergarten round up for this week. Have you noticed that there is not a word of swine flu mentioned whatsoever? It's like it never even happened.

One of my favorite things: The hubs and I went to see Star Trek over the weekend. The hotties in the movie for Captain Kirk and Spock made the movie extra enjoyable. I'm not a big Trekkie fan at all, but this one I really enjoyed. I'm thinking because it was more modern and told how the crew came together and they were young and hot and well, hot..I mentioned that already didn't I?

A Picture Thought: We recycle!
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 224px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_CmTk89APTfY/ShGVmKR1YQI/AAAAAAAADcQ/Gfi30quBau8/s320/builder2.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5337211516237472002" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 295px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_CmTk89APTfY/ShGVmGs9ZFI/AAAAAAAADcI/zbXRVv97uIY/s320/builder1.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5337211515277501522" />

Just A Few Bits And Pieces

-I'm at the 'rents house getting ready for the big show and had a few random things to mention.

-Obviously my music taste never left the late 90's except for a small handful. I promise to never do a music random thingy again (crossing fingers behind back). I will post the answers later if you guys really care. :)

-It's my anniversary and please don't let me forget to post about the wrecky cake my dad ordered for us. Ya'll want cake, cause he got one to feed 30? There's only 8 of us here and half of us won't or can't eat it. I'm seriously going to take a pic of this cake soon and have you guys tell me if it's Cake Wreck worthy or not. I honestly laughed so hard I was crying. I love it! Is it sad that since finding Cake Wrecks, I have been on the hunt for a wrecky cake. Score that it's my anniversary cake. More on that later.

-I committed a blog cardinal sin, I got halfway to Oklahoma and realized I forgot the camera. What kind of blogger am I? I hang my head in shame. The hubs is going to have to take my "L" pics on the crackberry and e-mail them to me. The cake too. Sigh!

-One additional thing. I'm reading The Host and loving it. If you have reservations about reading about alien body snatching this book is not primarily on that. I will also say if you weren't to much into Twilight you should give Stephanie Meyer a second chance with The Host. I will bravely say that I think I love this one more than Twilight but in a different way. I loved Twilight for the romance and I love The Host on a Sci Fi open mind perspective, two sides to every story level. I am not a Sci Fi fan, I'm just one by force with 4 boys around. This kind of Sci Fi, I'm really enjoying.

OK that is all....

Thursday 13: The Music Meme Shuffle

I thought about listing 13 things I love about my hubs, but I'm not in a lovey dovey mood at the moment despite that our anniversary is looming..I mean joyfully coming soon. So I was in the mood for another music meme and actually googled and found this one which looks fun!

First, the rules:
Step 1: Put your MP3 player or whatever on random.
Step 2: Post the first line from the first 13 songs (I changed it from 25 to 13-your welcome) that play, no matter how embarrassing the song.
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from.
Step 4: Strike through when someone gets them right

Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING (Which really if you need to Google, I'm cool with that.)

*Warning- I can't guarantee 1 or 5 country songs will play. I apologize now.*

1 "Grandpa, tell me 'bout the good old days, sometimes it feels like this worlds gone crazy." (Thank goodness I warned you ahead of time.)

2. "1..2..3..4 I was working part time in a 5 in dime, my boss was Mr.Magee."

3. "Sometimes late at night, I lay awake and watch her sleeping."

4. "I've known about you for awhile now, when he leaves me, he wears a smile now."

5. "Sometimes I just feel like quitin, well I might. Why do I put up this fight?"

6. "Whoooah... Whoooah...Whooah... Listen up everybody if you wanna take a chance."

7. "I guess this time your really leaving."

8. "I was walking home from school on a cold winter day. I took a short cut through the woods and lost my way."

9. "I guess she's back in the atmosphere, with drops of Jupiter in her hair."

10. "Give it to me baby. Uh Huh. Give it to me baby."

11. "Children behave, that's what they say when were together." (There's two different artists who sang this one bonus if you get both.)

12. "A scrub is guy who thinks he's fine."

13. "When I'm a walkin I strut my stuff and I'm so strung out." (S if you don't get this one, I may have to disown you.)

As you can tell my music palate is quite interesting. Can't wait to see if you guys can guess them.

Things Have Changed Since I Was In 5th Grade

Last night Gameboy's future school had a parent's initiation night. A hazing if you will, of what's to come for your child in 5th grade.

I realize things have changed quite a bit since I was in 5th grade. I don't even want to calculate the years (20...cough cough) but surely things couldn't have changed that much. I'm obviously living near the river of denial.

The first thing that struck me was the school is only for 5th and 6th graders. I think this is great in it's own weird way. This allows them to get accustomed to switching classes like jr/high school with out fearing the upper class men. They get extra responsibility and feel independent at the same time. I think it will be a great first step to maturity for Game Boy.
They also get their own locker, they do have to earn it since it's a privilege not a right. This is supposedly a really big thing to the upcoming 5th graders. Something tells me though, that a locker probably isn't a necessity hence why they have to "earn it". Another great lesson in responsibility though. I have nightmares of my awful experiences with the first week of school with my out of the way, old as the hills, always jammed, locker in 7th grade.

Next is that dreaded TAKS testing thing. I don't get on my soap box to often, but the TAKS will forever be a knife in my soul. Let's just say I'm not a big fan of how it's handled. That being said, 5th grade is the big year of no pass test no pass 5th grade. I don't know how I missed this bullet in 3rd for Game Boy but somehow we did and obviously it was no big deal since he passed. I do appreciate that tutoring is readily and freely available right away when a child shows the need and that helps them prepare to succeed on the test. Which makes sense if the school wants their special status and funding.

Then the jaw dropper; they are already preparing these kids for college and PSAT's in 5th and 6th grade. AP classes already begin in 6th. College recruiters come and talk to the kids to help them decide what career they'd like and what college they'd like to attend. Woah Nelly! I'm a little bit unsure about that. Do they really need to pressure kids to make that kind of decision at 10 and 11? I don't know if that would have been helpful or hurtful for me at that time. I guess since I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up, the sooner the better for my kids may help.
I'm guessing this means I gotta get crackin on that college fund.

WW A to Z : K is for Kindergarten Bound

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_CmTk89APTfY/Sgoz8JWC9SI/AAAAAAAADYs/8A-z8E89qXw/s400/preschoolgrad.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335133816967329058" /> We had a mini ceremony for his pre-school graduation simply because I needed a good "K" and I wanted to use this cap and gown one more time. I'm going to blame the weather as it's bringing me to a low never stooped before. I've never seen this much gloom in spring in Texas ever. It perked up a bit yesterday only to wake this morning with misty rain and gloom.
I say all that to prepare you for "my woe is me" attitude about the library book situation. We've gone weeks and weeks with no issue whatsoever on late/missing books. I was in bliss, no stress or getting on all fours to hunt down an elusive book hidden beneath beds, blankets or in toy boxes.
Today I have supposedly 3 books (the kids of course) that are missing in action. Last time we had a book go missing for months; I was convinced it really was checked in, only to be found 2 months later on the bookshelf of Wonder Boys classroom. This time I'm almost positive the books that are supposedly overdue, were turned in last week, if not the week before. I can sort of see 1 book gone MIA but 3, no way Jose.

I know what your saying, I should do a check list before leaving to make sure I've got them all. I should and usually do. I obviously, took the last few weeks for granted.

Today I will be packing up books we do have checked out to return and leaving the library empty handed, that my friends makes me sadder than any months and months of gloomy weather. If you need to find me I'll be reorganizing and cleaning kids rooms... yet again.

The Simple Womans Day Book

Outside My Window: Would you believe more rain? We actually had a beautiful sunny day yesterday afternoon. I took the kids to the park and not a soul was there. Maybe everyone has forgotten what a sunny day feels like. All hope for Spring is lost again though.

I am hearing: The pattering of the rain on the window, a kid shuffling boxes around making a race track.

I am thinking: I have really got to get back to a normal bed routine. I was up tossing and turning all night, even though I went to bed at a decent time. I then didn't help matters by laying back down after dropping off the kids. It's bad when your kid is trying to have a conversation with you and you say two words, doze off and he's yelling at you again for a response to another question. Rinse and Repeat

I am hoping: That the rain will clear off, and we will actually get some Spring before Summer hits us like a freight train.

From the kitchen:

Monday: Roast

Tuesday: Tostadas

Wednesday: Dijon Chicken

Thursday: Talapia

Friday: Unsure were going out of town more on that.

I am reading: I finished The Mysterious Benedict Society and loved it. I stopped by the library Thursday to grab another read as I can't go to long without reading something. I checked the availability of the Host, figuring it would be checked out. The computer showed their was one available. I scoured the shelf with no luck. I asked and the librarian was very hesitant that it was actually in. She scoured the back and I scoured all over for misplacement and it was not to be found. Someone's reading it at the library and has it well hidden, I'm sure of it. Anyways, I'm sure you didn't care to know this but I grabbed The Revenge of the Spellmans by Lisa Lutz.

Those of you who are keeping track of my read books (of course you are) would say; but Jean you haven't read The Curse of the Spellmans yet. Right you are friend, right you are. I figured as long as I read the first I should be good. It was one of those mad dash I can't remember what's on my to be read list grabs. I love her writing style and she gives me a guilt trip through out the book- that if I didn't read Spellman 1 and 2 it's readily available in paperback. That makes me laugh and feel like I'm breaking the law. :)

I am creating: I just haven't been that creative lately

Around the house: Yeah I was going to do that experiment with the clean house last week. None was really needed as the moment I cleaned 5-10 minutes later you would have never known. At least the effort is there...sigh.

One of my favorite things: Spinach salad with raspberry vinegrette. Yum, I've been eating it like crazy. I also love getting a card for mothers day from my mom and finding a sweet little check in it. Totally unexpected and really not necessary, that's my mom for ya.

Plans for the week: Gameboy has a 4th grade perfomance, and Friday we're headed up North as my parents got us tickets for the Lion King on broadway this weekend (bet you can guess what next weeks WW A to Z will be-perfect timing) oh and also Saturday is this little thing called my anniversary, 11 years my friends...11 long interesting years.

A Picture Thought: Mother's Day Out Take

VLogging On My Mind

When I get crazy ideas in my head while I'm trying to sleep, the best cure for that is to jump out of bed and start blogging it down. This time Vlogging is really on my mind.

First of all I'm thinking, once I got over the initial thought of seeing myself on video and not gagging, I probably would actually like it. Whoah that's a concept. I mean it's not like I would be watching myself all the time or anything, unlike reading the blog. I annoy myself enough reading about me, I don't need to watch me all the time either.

Secondly, imagine all of the relief of the grammar natzis and comma police, simply because Jean is not typing out her drivel, she's videoing it. I'm sure you'd all be sending up a Amen for that. Though sadly the reprcussion would be you'd now have to watch my drivel. I'm really not sure which would be worse.

Thirdly, there's really not a third.
I have stirred up some ideas in my head on what to Vlog.
Laurie's thought on the hummus experiment would be stellar Vlog material in my opinion. Dontchyathink?
Then of course IKEA '09 here we come.
I was also thinking of like a 2 minute Tuesday, where I'd Vlog something really random (as usual) of the day in life of me for 2 minutes. I know, what a freakin concept?! I frighten myself with my ideas. I really think 2 minutes is all anyone can take of my drivel on video.

I have no idea why I'm even mentioning all of this, when I DONT EVEN HAVE A SWEET MINI FLIP VIDEO CAMERA (in a sassy color of course)! You needs to know I'm working really hard to win one of these suckers. When I do, watch out Vlog world here I come. This has been your warning to head for the hills now.

A Priceless Mudders Day

A Hand Picked Bouquet $0.00

A Hand Crafted Clay Pot/Coin Bowl $0.00

Breakfast served in bed- cereal minus milk (we didn't have any) 0 calories. I guess I assumed anyone that blogs had some kind of idea what it is. I by no means am an expert but basically your given a topic of "interset" to blog about and link up the sponsors who your promoting and the magic fairies send you money or something like that. The person to ask is Laurie she's recruiting folks if your interested and has a great post with the folks to inquire with.

If you follow me on Twitter than you probably removed me to follow after last night. Last night was mom's night out on Twitter with 5 Minutes for Mom, and MomTV. Basically it was a bunch of us ladies begging and groveling the 5MFM girls and MomTV hostess to give us some lovely prizes on Twitter. Needless to say, we exploded Twitter with our tweets and I also exploded my facebook, and blog page as well. Sorry 'bout that!
Even though I didn't win a prize, Laurie did win the coveted VADO which is a flip video camera. We were rooting for each other all night and she won one of the last ones. Lucky duck! WE yes WE have big plans for <strike>our</strike> her VADO, as in doing some vlogging together. For some reason she thinks I'd be hilarious doing a vlog. Silly girl doesn't realize that I'll be just a big goof ball, but I'm guessing that's the point. Anyways, we have big plans to hit Ikea and do something crazy there with the VADO. If you guys have suggestions on what we should do at Ikea while Vlogging "it" let me know... of course as long as it doesn't get us thrown out and banned. Though wouldn't that be interesting for the vlog? I'm thinking some kind of wacky scavenger hunt. In case you're not in the know of what vlog is, it's basically blogging on video. Your welcome. :)

You guys also asked about the tootsie roll story from my Thursday 13 on my mom. A few weekends ago my mom and sister sold tootsie rolls for Special Olympics outside of a large warehouse store (the one that Mr Walton founder of Walmart has), and supposedly it was bitter cold and very rainy outside. According to the rules of Mr Waltons establishment solicitors are to stand 20-30 feet away from the front door. I totally understand where there coming from on this, as no one likes to be bombarded even by a person with disablities selling tootsie rolls. They had to literally stand out in the rain for their endeavor. Since I'm a big wuss, I would have given up the first 30 minutes. They stayed out there the whole 2 hours. Bless their hearts. If I know my sister she probably was none to thrilled.

There you are my friends, if you have a random question about anything or if I've left you hanging on any fascinating part of my life that I've mentioned and then left you in the dark on, ask a way and I shall answer...maybe. I'm always up for a good random post.
Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful mothers. I will be receiving a brand spankin new lawn mower.
