Featuring powerful vocals, showers of almighty drumming and riff driven melodies, their radio friendly sound is based around the potent songwriting partnership of lead vocalist Ellie Mules and bass player/ guitarist Darren Michael. Drummer Rob Meehan ?EUR" cousin of legendary Sex Pistols front man Johnny Rotten - and Guitarist Noel Martin add the aggressive backbone to the band?EUR^(TM)s sound.

Coolstars Recording Studio Experience Sessions, run from the Beehouse recording studio cater for all musical individuals in one environment.

Sessions regularly offered range from birthday gifts and retirement gift recordings to kids' parties and hen parties as well as music recordings - we will record virtually any instrument and cater for creative songwriting and composing with both vocalists and instrument players, in groups or solo.

A kids party for up to twelve children under twelve costs £200 and a teenager recording experience for up to six costs the same. Adult or individual gift sessions are in three and five hour packages although we are flexible.

Hen Party at the Beehouse Recording Studio - a local music business

Hen parties at music recording studios are ever growing in popularity. The Beehouse, just outside Llanfyllin and set between Welshpool and Oswestry, in good striking distance for the Midlands and much of Wales offers something unique in this respect in that, as a professional studio, and music business there is a greater than average chance your recording will be something worthy of keeping after the event! The hen party is just like a recording experience only with lots more players.

Sessions are up to 4 hours in duration and we have a flexible limit of 10 participants for a cost of £350. It's best to chose one or two tracks you really like and feel will make a good memory. Also please try to choose something where there is a good chance everyone will be able to sing!If you need some help with this, the studio can help you - or you can just consider the type of things you really like singing, and we'll work something out.

With a professional arranger and vocal coach to hand, the breathing exercises begin...! Recording experiences are great for letting your hair down - and singing together does tend to make everyone very relaxed and much more dynamic suddenly.

Once everyone is ready, it's time to go into the recordig studio and lay down those tunes....

We are very relaxed at the Beehouse so nerves don't usually enter into the equation, and your engineer will make you feel as if you were in your own home. Anyone not totally taken up with singing is welcome to wander about and admire the breathtakingly wild scenery in this magical spot.

A room is made available for you to relax in and you are welcome to bring a hamper or party food and drink and make the most of our facilities - there's also a fair few restaurants and pubs in the town of Llanfyllin which offer all the variety you could wish for. Music Venues and Recording Rooms in the Oswestry and Welshpool area

As a recording studio and entertainment agency in the Welshpool and Oswestry environs, we are frequently asked about good venues in the area. Sometimes we may be asked by a professional recording artist or a recording experience customer lookng for an ideal first venue.
We know of a few very high class venues, and obviously we know rooms which are available. What we are not able to tell our customers is who they should approach to put on a gig.

Similarly we would like to have a list of the rooms available in the Welshpool and Oswestry area suitable for recording, should customers not wish to make the journey to the recording studio. Again here we have drawn a blank.

We would like to ask any Welshpool or Oswestry area venue owner with a requirement for more entertainment at their venue to contribute to this blog and advertise their venue, with a clear description of all facilities available, and the cost of hire. We feel this would be a great asset to the area and no doubt help us moving new and experienced artists along in their careers.

This blog has been started in order to gather information on the holiday accommodation available in the Welshpool and Oswestry area, and how we in the music business can work with the holiday industry for mutual support. As a tourist attraction in Llanfyllin, we are constantly seeking accommodation for the various business and holiday customers who want to spend more than a day in the recording studio. We often have visitors who have never recorded before, many are middle-aged or older, although we see some young folk also. We try to inform them as best we can about places to stay, and what there is available in the area for their partners and spouses to do whilst they are overcoming their nerves and focusing on their recording (although many families stop for the spectacle!)

Oh the life in the coutry, the splendid isolation from all surrounding cares and woes. Oh how lovely to live secluded from all other house, a mile down a dusty track to nowhere.

Think again. Many home-owners in this fortunate position are penalised for their choice. Not only must they tolerate the lack of refuse removal facilities, and find themselves obliged to transport their rubbish in their cars alongside their children, half a mile or a mile to the nearest "green communal box", but they are also denied the same recycling facilities as their town-dwelling counterparts. In order to recycle, the countryside dweller has to learn which of the surrounding towns has facilities for recycling all the different items such as glass, cardboard, cans, plastics etc, and make separate trips out to ease their conscience, thus increasing their own carbon emissions many times over.

The ruralist also has to cope with ungritted roads, and has to develop the tenacity to deal with many issues unaided, such as the status of the well water available, regular punctures, and numerous head-to-head incidents on the small country lanes which are always dealt with on a knock for knock basis, no matter whose fault it was!

Despite the shortage of amenities, isolated rural properties have recently been accorded a steep rise in Council Tax, way above that of their town counterparts. When this is queried, the powers that be are unable to see that because of their higher council tax, better services and amenities should be supplied, and simply repeat ad nauseam that these things are worked out on a house size basis.

Nonetheless the isolated life has it's advantages. It is lovely to be able to retreat up a hillside to escape the thousand petty squabbles which the village folk seem heir to. The language of the hills is often the best counsel in these troubled times. What better place to work from...?
Until, that is, the inevitable telephone disruptions wreak havoc with finances, with their predictable monotony. Ah well, true silence.
