I'm a big movie music fan, so I like to post articles about my favorite composers.

If The Mission is all you know of his work, you've got a lot of great stuff to discover! Some of my favorites are The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly; Once Upon A Time In The West, and Once Upon A Time In America. All great scores!Jeff Pidgeonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09480545918063778031noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37568007.post-85021191117330682132007-01-29T08:18:00.000-08:002007-01-29T08:18:00.000-08:00Thank you for this post on Ennio Morricone. Having read more about his compositional output, I am surprised that his music is only now being showcased as it is at Radio City Music Hall and the film festivals next month. It’s really remarkable that at age 78, with his prolific output, that this has not happened already. And what of his concert music? I don’t know that I’ve ever had opportunity to hear it performed. I would love to hear his Voci dal Silencio.

Chandler Branch, Exe.
