How many people have the ability to do something about it?<br /><br />On <em>The Tonight Show </em>tonight Fred Thompson made the semi anti-climatic announcement that he's in the race. I don't fault him for waiting -- a lot of the campaigning that has happened thus far. It really has been nothing more than a circus. For those of us that truly believe these campaigns need to be shorter -- we can't really fault Fred for waiting.<br /><br />Shortly after midnight the Thompson campaign launched <a href="http://www.fred08.com/index.aspx">this video release</a> over the internet. Take a listen to what he has to say. Though i don't like the way they shot the video -- I do like what he has to say... I find very distinct similarities to Thompson's and Guilliani's platform.<br /><br />I think we're going to eventually see a Guilliani / Thompson race for the nomination and I think that's a good think.
