available space was booked, due to the same kind of Memorial
Day-related rescheduling we did.

us with joined tables in the dining area.

The agenda will include planning for the Dan Patch parade. Any other

Town Hall Meetings on State Budget

The MN House and Senate are having town hall meetings on the state budget:
Bloomington: Feb 24 7 pm, City Hall, 1800 W Old Shakopee Rd
Burnsville: Feb 25 7:30 pm, Fairview Ridges Hospital, 201 E Nicollet Blvd

to contact them and pass this on. We are currently trying to make
contact with all of the precinct chairs and associate chairs to make
sure we have an active chair in every precinct, and part of that is of
course determining who is active. It's important we try to get
everyone on the same page.

October Cental Committee Meeting

Note time and location. The group that got the meeting room at Burnhaven last month appear to have a recurring meeting on the same schedule as ours, and reserved it on the very first day possible (again). Thanks to Kirbe Strom for getting us the space at Normandale.

The agenda will include election of Associate Chair and Affirmative Action Officer, as announced at last meeting. It is very important we fill out our officers at this meeting, without any further postponements, so please make sure anyone interested in either position attends this meeting. Note that, due to gender balance rules, the Associate Chair must be female.

If anyone has other items for the agenda, please email me with them. I intend to send out another email with the agenda Monday night/Tuesday morning.

The next meeting of the SD40 Central Committee will be on Thursday, August 14 at 6:30pm. As stated at the June and July meetings, we plan to have it at Normandale Community College (subject to availability).

Nena Andueza has resigned as Affirmative Action Officer, so the agenda will include a motion to declare the position vacant, and an election (presuming the former motion passes). Anyone interested in the position should come to the August meeting.
