I mourn the loss of the blackberries - they used to ripen in July, and I made gallons of blackberry coulis to pour on icecream. Really, blackberries are nicer than tarmac.<BR/><BR/>I think it must be for 2012 - you know, have some of the audience for the events at the Dome arrive by rail at Westcombe Park and be shuttle-bussed to the Dome.<BR/><BR/>That's why Charlton Station was done up, for audiences for the Millennium Exhibition at the Dome, but perhaps Charlton Station on its own couldn't cope with the numbers expected to attend the Olympic events at the Dome.<BR/><BR/>You'll have noticed that the wooden fence, on the north side of Westcombe Park Station has been repainted the colour of poo? I was passing through one day when the young offenders were doing that, under supervision, and I asked the coordinator why on earth they could not have used green paint.
